The mix that we heard for the musical performances was almost completely devoid of any guitars or snare drum. This was clearly not the intentional, proper mix. I have a feeling that somehow the screening was missing a whole channel or stem of audio that contained that portion of the live band sound. Maybe a section of the audio was not routed to the speakers properly or something. We were very much looking forward to the film as we were at the very first concert of the tour in Cardiff, Wales last summer.

It's nice that they have some local beers on draft too! The theatre itself was what you'd expect from a smaller theater. There are a few things that are pretty dated. The seats look like they are in pretty bad shape but they were actually surprisingly comfortable. The only real downside to my experience was that the sound proofing in my theater was pretty bad. I could hear almost everything going on in the theater next to us, especially during some of the quieter scenes of my movie.

They did not recline. Apparently the luxury portion is left to the imagination. The rest of the experience was equally impressive. The sound was distorted because at least one speaker in our auditorium appeared to be blown, and the prices suggest a theater offering a considerably better experience than this one actually provides. If you are going to advertise LUXURY RECLINERS across the entire front of the building, perhaps start with the recliners. Between the dated seats, bad sound and premium prices, the sign outside was by far the most luxurious part of the experience.

The Greensboro Science Center is a true gem for families AND adults. They are committed to wildlife…read moreconservation, rehabilitation and education. The center is constantly improving and evolving the facility by maintaining current exhibits and adding new ones. They also host traveling exhibits such as BODIES. Right now, they are working on adding a new rainforest biosphere (Current ETA September 2027). There is also a butterfly room filled to the brim with butterflies, it is quite a site to see! The interior features children play areas, weather ed, reptiles and more. Not to forget about the AQUARIUM (my favorite part), which gives visitors the opportunity to touch rays and sharks, see the penguins, awe at massive tank with a wide variety of fish, and don't forget the penguins and jellyfish! The exterior is like a mini zoo, it could easily take you an hour+ to visit the flamingos, monkeys, tigers, Pygmy hippos, wolves, red panda, petting zoo and more. They also have concessions inside and outside if you need a beverage or some snacks. Don't forget to end the day with a ride on the carousel! During the December/January holiday time, they also have a lighted exhibit outdoors that you can walk through with lighted sculptures, shows, and hot cocoa. The Greensboro Science Center is a great value experience for something to do in Greensboro, I can't recommend it enough.

I arrived there and the front desk people said they increased the price to $7 5 months ago. Since the museum didn't compare favorably to the science museums I was accustomed to (Maryland Science Museum) nor the aquatic centers (Baltimore Aquatic Center), I decided to give it a pass. Instead I went to the Tanger Bicentennial Gardens (free) and so glad I did. It made me grateful for the Maryland Science Museum and the Baltimore Aquatic Center that I frequented with my children. Because of them my son was inspired to become an aerospace engineer - now in his first year in college. That said if it's all you have, it is what it is. I think the $21 ticket price is ridiculous. As I mentioned their increased ticket price of $7 for Museum for All doesn't compare at all to other participating museums around the US.

Since the 1980's, they have done quite a bit of renovation to this almost 100 year old venue. I was like most folks as we entered the facility and kept looking around at everything. Staff was welcoming and helpful as I got our "will call" tickets and found our seats for the concert. Such an awesome facility, restored to showcase the design of the 1920s. I enjoyed the concert, but enjoyed returning to this gem in Greensboro.

For the two of us, we spent only $2. This beats renting a DVD and watching it at home in a heartbeat. The line wasn't long and the employees were friendly as well. The screen was very big and sound was great. The film started on time instead of having 30 minutes of previews. I didn't give this theater 5 stars because of where it is located, and it's not the cleanest theater around. However, it is definitely worth more than the price and we will continue to view films here.
