I've never had a complaint about my movie experience with the exception of the snacks. About half the time when I get the popcorn, there's no seasoning on it. Don't expect a lot of seasoning because they want people to be able to choose how their popcorn tastes by seasoning it as needed, but there needs to be at least a little bit when it's cooked for basic flavor. I recommend you check your popcorn as soon as you get it to see if it needs seasoning, especially if you're getting it to go.

These groups of comedians did not come to disappoint as they approached everything from crowd interactions to tongue-in-cheek monologues performed. Marriage, modern day behaviors and protruding manholes were just a boisterous bit of memorable subjects discussed, leaving the crowd both stunned and stuck in their seats, doubling over with laughter. Myself (and my friends that I brought along) arrived just 15 minutes before the sold-out show only to enter a jam-packed theater house full of comedy-lovers. Seated directly in the front row (because there were absolutely no other available seats), I confess to feeling a tad bit anxiety over the possibility of becoming one of the comedians' targets to tease... but as the show commenced, I/we was/were left more than thrilled to have the best seats in the entire house! Would I go again when these "idiots" return to the soapbox & silverscreen in Salem? Uhhh, duhhhhh! Should others be sure to check out whenever they do make their way back to perform? Before the movie, we spent some time exploring the lobby, checking out the arcade games, photo area, and everything the theater had to offer. The concession stand had plenty of options, and of course we couldn't resist grabbing popcorn, drinks, and snacks before heading into the movie. The RPX auditorium provided a great viewing experience with comfortable seating and excellent picture and sound quality. What stood out most was how easy it was to turn a simple movie into a full family outing. Between the atmosphere, friendly staff, and overall cleanliness, it was the perfect place to kick off our Summer in the City series. We truly appreciate Regal Greensboro Grande for hosting us and helping us launch this new adventure. I was surprised that they had so many cool things you can buy at the snack counter. They've come a long way since the last time I was there in that regard. The staff was also super friendly which I appreciate. As far as our movie experience I love the reclining seats and how roomy it is. Someone forgot to turn the lights off when the movie started so all of the previews and the first five minutes of the movie were in the bright lights but they eventually went off. The bathrooms could use some attention. Some of the doors don't lock and some toilets need unclogged and cleaned. Overall we had a good experience and will be back!

The popcorn was a good size for a small and I could add my own butter. The nacho chips came in a bag and then i had to empty them into the box they gave me. A couple of detractors included, 1- the reclining chairs were a little beat up; 2- there were a lot of commercials (in addition to some previews, which are welcome) shown before the movie, the lobby is small and there really wasn't much of a place to wait before entering the theater. Since the 1980's, they have done quite a bit of renovation to this almost 100 year old venue. I was like most folks as we entered the facility and kept looking around at everything. Staff was welcoming and helpful as I got our "will call" tickets and found our seats for the concert. Such an awesome facility, restored to showcase the design of the 1920s. I enjoyed the concert, but enjoyed returning to this gem in Greensboro.
