I saw a movie here for the first time in maybe a decade in May 2026 and I don't have much to say other than that this is not the same movie theater of my youth. I have many memories of coming to AMC (known back then as Rave) in Jefferson Point after school and seeing movies with friends in what I thought was a fancy and new theater. Well, after coming back here for a movie in 2026, I don't think this theater has been updated since 2006 and it honestly made me a little sad. The prices for tickets and popcorn are high for how shabby the place is. Half of the complex is dark and eerie, the seats are tattered, the audio system is a bit crap, and there was only half a dozen others there on a late Friday afternoon. Jefferson Point is a relatively upscale outdoor mall in Fort Wayne and this poor little theater deserves some love and an update. Now I am sure my 3 stars are inflated due to nostalgia but the staff are friendly and there are some interesting options available at the concession stand! I saw some food on the menu I haven't seen at other theaters. C'mon AMC - put some money into this location please! read more

Nice selection of films and showing times. Easy on line ordering of tickets. This facility is older and in moderate shape. They try to keep it as clean as movie goers will allow. The seating is not the modern recliners like many places offer. read more

My husband and I went to a 6:00 showing at Jefferson Point AMC last Sunday. The movie had barely begun when I scooted over towards my husband to get some popcorn and, to my shock, the seat just dropped!! Luckily, I wasn't hurt, but that may not have been the case for someone heavier or with physical disabilities! We were also lucky we weren't seeing the show at a more crowded time or we would've had to try to locate another seat in the dark! Also, the light revealed how utterly DISGUSTING these seats are! These are only a few of the things we've seen over the years as this movie complex continues to deteriorate. Multiple long-term closures over the summer, pop machines missing multiple selections, and poor maintenance are only a few examples-signs of failed management. I will be calling AMC. I am livid at the moment. My family was declined entrance at the AMC theater. I am not an unreasonable person. My daughter and her friends (all over 17) wanted to watch the new passenger movie and weren't able to go due to "not being 17". Since one of the girls drove, the other 4 didn't bring their wallets (obviously we live in the time of apple pay). They needed to see a physical copy of ID and the girls didn't have anything to show. Most of the girls had a picture of it but they wouldn't accept that. Keep in mind two of the girls ARE TWINS and they wouldn't let one of them in. I feel as though if they were old enough to drive themselves they should've been old enough to watch the movie. The girls all payed for their tickets online and even bought food through apple pay. Once they were denied entrance obviously they asked for a refund. AMC couldn't offer this. The girls only got gift cards for the money they spent. Like why accept apple pay if you can't refund it!!??!!?? So if anyone wants a $7 gift card let me know. We are not going back and never offering this location business AGAIN. read more

This amc needs some WORK. To pay $30 for 2 tickets is ridiculous for what you get. The chairs are very gross, to the point where I felt uncomfortable sitting in. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! If I could give this theater zero stars I would... I've never been to a more run down bs movie theater. My theater in my small town is better than this. We drove hours away from home to watch Barbie at what we thought was a beautiful AMC theater. On their website and when I called they stated that they had burgers and pizza, but upon getting there they had none of that food available (as in they didn't serve that type of food). Then we get into our movie only to find out there are 5 seats that are broken, the roof is caving in and got water damage, oh and my seats where damp and it smelled like an old basement. The movie screen was not in focus or level with the slide. After the movie we went to the bathroom and the wallpaper was coming off the wall and had mold everywhere, we went up to the counter and was talking very nicely to the manager on shift, when she started to yell and accuse us of saying she was doing a bad job. All we told her was our experience was not good, after that she had security escort us out, while he was escorting us out he was insulting my mother and my self. The theater is spacious and classy! You get alcoholic beverages before the movie! Also the layout of the theater is super practical and is a modern atmosphere. I wish the seats reclined but that is first world problems. read more

This theater has seen better days. On the day we went there was no popcorn being served, I guess due to something being broken. Lots of disrepair and neglect was evident including broken lights on the marquees, danger tape on a door, and just a lack of cleanliness of the carpet and surfaces. It seemed as if no one had invested any money in this place since it was built. I sympathize with the owner as COVID, I'm sure, had a devastating effect on their business. However, there's no excuse for not keeping up on maintenance and cleaning. I hate to say it, but I think the demise of the movie theater is on the horizon. read more

Managers don't do anything you have to be over 18 after 8 the place is super dirty and infested with rodents. Theatres are nasty and seats are uncomfortable you always have someone talking you tell management and they don't do a thing they are scared of confrontation. I would rather go to regal instead better seats better staff and way better theaters. read more

This movie theater deserves a 2.5. On one hand, this place is awesome because it offers really neat deals on tickets and snacks on certain days of the week. The staff is friendly, and during the matinee we attended, it did not seem too crowded. On the other hand, It was nice and air conditioned when you first walk in- which was great because it was a super hot day- But in the actual theater where we watched the movie... it was hot. really hot. like we were sitting outside and baking in the sun hot. This is a nice theater. The IMAX is smaller then most IMAX theaters I've been to. However, I'm glad we got to See Jurassic World in IMAX 3D. I gave this theater four stars due to the annoying parking and the smaller IMAX. read more

Holy loud. Should've read the reviews before we went. But- we talked to someone and got them to turn down the volume because everyone was holding their hands over their ears. The concessions are more extravagant than most theaters with the options for things like flatbread pizza and alcoholic beverages. But the price reflects that attempt at extravagance. They have not made the change to the recliner seats, but the rest of the theater looks updated and nice. read more

Tonight I went to this theater for the first time. There were a few issues but the biggest issue was how insanely unclean the theater was. I was in stadium 10, and the floor was so sticky it was difficult to walk. So much so that on my way out after the movie my foot literally stuck to the stair, I lost my balance, and I fell - hard. The concessions are fast, the lobby is nice, the issues with the cold ticketing area are mostly handled. I love the variety of movies, even if they don't get as many limited-run flicks as I would like. I like having an IMAX in the city, even if it is just kind of an IMAX. Seats aren't great, sometimes the sound is a bit loud and the screens a bit dim. They still can't fix bathroom stall latches after years of being broken. The location is good, but I wish there was more parking close to the entrance. Having to print a Fandango ticket twice is inconvenient. It's really annoying to have to wait til Wed./Thurs to find out what is playing. read more

First time at this theater in a long time. We received a gift card to AMC theater so we went for an afternoon movie. The ticket booth is outside and It's February so the weather was cold / rainy. There was only one person selling tickets so it took a long time to get our tickets. Once inside it was another LONG line for refreshments with only two people working there. I feel like this theatre and the one off DuPont has gone downhill a little since they were purchased by AMC. I like what amc has to offer as far as perks. I'm an a list member and love seeing up-to 12 movies at anytime at any amc theatre for $20. I use it and it's well worth it. But I have noticed huge lines for tickets or even to scan my a list bar code to get in. They should have a separate line for people that have already purchased to tickets instead of waiting in line to purchase them. They usually have one ticket person with 20 lll in line and this line is located outside. Freezing in the winter months. I love their popcorn. Always fresh and buttery with the option to add more butter. Plus the annual bucket is $4 for a fill up with free refills. I also love the soda machine. The theaters are run down. Seats badly stained or dirty floors have crap on the the audio way to loud and theaters freezing. I always bring a blanket. I've had lights forgotten to be shut off when movie is playing. I've had the screen not open up all the way and I saw a hole in the screen once. The lobby is nice but they added extras that don't need to be there. Like a full bar. Really. Are people going to get drunk at the movie theatre pub? The money should have been invested in the actual movie theatre. I do love their small IMAX and 3D theatre rooms. Bathrooms are meh. Toilet paper almost Times all over the floor. Toilets nasty to sit on or not flushed and leaky toilets. Hand wash station is always messy. They do have $5 tuesdays and meal bundles that are good priced. I go back because of the A list I do. To good to pass up. We've been here a handful of times over the years. The parking is good, the parking lot is well lit and maintained. The theater itself is clean and well taken care of. I like the fact that we have never had to wait an unusually long time in order to get soda or popcorn. The staff is always so happy and friendly also! The only thing I wish they would consider is adding the reclining chairs instead of the normal theater style seating. Jefferson Pointe is a nice outdoors mall and I think by adding the reclining seats to that theater would definitely make that location match the rest of its surroundings. read more

This used to be our families favorite movie theatre! But it's gone down hill since changing ownership/names. The last two times that I have gone it's been early in the day shortly after they have opened. Both times the outside trash cans were overflowing and trash was on the ground everywhere. Inside? The lobby was filthy with crumbs on the floor and dirt and trash. Doesn't look like they ever mop the lobby. The drink area where you fill your own drinks is disgusting. Restrooms are always dirty and gross now. Paper towels over filling the trash cans and on the floor. Doesn't anyone clean after closing time so it's clean at the beginning of the next day?? Actual theatre we were in this past Tuesday had trash on the floor and stuffed in cup holders. It's super sad to see a place going down hill when it used to be our absolute fave! Ever since they got the Mini-IMAX I have been a fan, I refuse to go to a normal movie anymore unless it is IMAX anymore! My 1st movie being seen on that screen was Fast 5! I went to see Deadpool 2. It's a 2 hour movie. There were 30 minutes of trailers/commercials. Seriously? The trailers were a quarter the length of the movie and made the experience 125% longer. It's ridiculous to have to wait 30 minutes after the show time for a movie to start. read more

I would give this theater five stars but the sound is so loud we wear ear plugs and hear all of the dialog just fine. Heres how loud , i wear hearing aids. I have to remove them and wear ear plugs. This theater gets worse every time I go there. It's now owed by AMC and hopefully they are making improvements. Attended a matinee today. First no one directed us to the correct theater location and the movies were not listed on the displays on each side of the lobby. Had to figure out what theater my movie was in from my ticket stub. There was popcorn all the floor and counter where the butter dispenser is (I'll not go into how irritating it is to have to dispense your own butter). After determining the correct theater location and heading down the hall to it we noticed that the movie names are no longer listed above the theater!! After the movie I decided to use the restroom, another disappointment. After seeing all the paper all over the floor I was surprised to find a sink that had both running water and soap. I should have just used the wetnap I had in my purse. I would have felt cleaner. I asked to see the manager and reported the unkept condition of the restroom. After seeing the manager I was not surprised at the status of the facility. CLEAN UP THIS ONCE GREAT THEATER AMC!! Well it's two months later and the electronic movie info still doesn't work, so good luck finding the right theater!! And, I do believe that they have raised the ticket price as well as the senior discount age!! I also find it odd that the DuPont theater, also owed by AMC, is clean and everything works. This is the best movie theater in town with their IMAX screen. I will say that I am a bit irritated that you have to get your own drink and butter your own popcorn but the prices remain the same! The staff is usually friendly and their facilities are clean. Some of their seats need overhauled as they show their age. Overall it is always a good experience! read more
