For the price of a ticket these days I expect clean comfortable accommodations. I get it here. It wasn't freezing or too hot. Movie was good but could have cut about 15-20 minutes. Dragging out the ending for suspense became less suspenseful for me. I'm recommending this theater just like I did 10 years ago!

My favorite AMC location! It's so big and beautiful, and I love the themed theaters inside. They frequently have cool interactive popups for films and you can sometimes see mini exhibits with real Costumes and props. My favorite popup so far was the Black Phone 2 one -- so immersive!! The IMAX screen here is the BIGGEST I've ever seen. It's hard to get tickets though, especially for any 70mm IMAX films. You have to book as early as you can. I wish they had the reclining chairs though.

This movie theater brings me back to my child hood days of going to the movies with so much excitement. It's huge and next to Lincoln Center. When you get off the local 1 train at 66st Lincoln Center you walk about a block uptown on Broadway and its there. This movie theater also has several premieres lights camera action .

Quirky AMC Theater that serves wine and beer. Would recommend ordering your food ahead of time because it can take them a while to reheat those bad boys for you. Other than that, love the themed theaters, and standard AMC soda machines.

I went to this movie theatre to see a film recently. I hadn't been to the cinema in long time but I was prepared in case the sound was too loud for me. I bought a large drink and standard popcorn from the concession stand and enjoyed the film. The film was an early showing so there were a lot of available seats. I had bought a ticket in advance.

Best location for IMAX in NYC and great for Dolby as well! Yay! 2025 - Finally! All the theaters in this locations are now renovated with plush seats! Recently came to watch a movie in the lower level - black plush seats, but they don't recline or have heat though... some of locations do. Still good and glad it's renovated and can book tickets in advance. When your tickets tell you what theater to go to, you do need the check which theater number it's in...and know if going upstairs or downstairs IMAX on the 4th floor Theaters 1-9 are on the second floor (theater 1 is Dolby) Theaters 10-12 are the in lower level Get the AMC app if you don't have it... Yes, one pays a premium for tickets but get discount tickets or better yet get on AMC A-List! Now get 4 movies a week! $28/month (that's the price of 1 IMAX tix alone!)... Make sure to scan your ticket in (pay attention to the updated rules).

Best AMC in the city. I'm absolutely obsessed with this place. It's huge and it's themed and there's something to look at everywhere. The staff is quick and accurate with food and drink orders. The best part, though, is the amazing IMAX screen. If you live in New York and haven't seen a movie in IMAX at this specific location, you're missing out in a serious way. It's unlike everything else and completely worth the trek from any part of the city. I will praise AMC Lincoln Square til the day I die!

Amazing theater! The IMAX experience was 100% worth it. I highly recommend getting here bright and early.

I don't understand why the overall ratings are only a 3.5. This is a well-kept theater with beautiful interior design (for a modern theater) and most recently, new rocker seats with more legroom in all auditoriums except for the Dolby, which has lounge seating, and the IMAX. The Dolby auditorium is the best Dolby Vision/Atmos auditorium in NYC. The IMAX is a true IMAX that supports both 70mm/15 perf IMAX film presentation and the highest level of digital laser IMAX: "Grand Theatre IMAX" with dual laser 4K imagery on a 101' wide screen and 11.1 channel DTS digital audio. Auditorium #2 (The Kings) supports 70mm 5-perf film projection. With the Ziegfeld long closed, this is the theater where most industry premieres now take place and IMO, is the best non-arthouse theater left in NYC. They also frequently have nice displays in the lobby areas, for example, one might display fashions from a film. "A Quiet Place" had a subway station entrance and "Twisters" had a "wind tunnel". While individual tickets are expensive, their A-List membership greatly reduces the cost for people who see at least two movies a month. Plus you build up points for free concessions. I did once get really horrible popcorn (for free), but I don't really care because it's quite rare that I ever buy any concessions. And when I attend, which is frequently during the day because I happen to have a lot of free time, the audiences are fine - no rudeness, no phone use during the movie, etc. However, some percentage are indeed slobs who leave their food and drinks all over the place. But that's not the fault of the theater. And when I exit a movie, there's always staff already there ready to clean up. And I've always found the bathrooms to be clean.

When you walk into the theater, it is magical. The murals the box office . All of it! The aesthetics are beautiful. The theater is close to Subway line N 1-2-3 , right down the block. Not every theater has the recliners so you select your ticket you'd be able to tell which movie has the recliners on the AMC app. Pleasant employees work here as well. They have early matinee movies during the week.

Quick question ? Are the AMC are going to renovate the AMC Lincoln Square 13…

Hi! I'm not sure if they're renovating again. It's gone through a series of upgrades already.

Does amc allow a small suitcase?

    Yes

    Recliners in imax theater?

    No just in Dolby

    Do they have bedbugs?

Not at this theater, no. (Knock on wood! 👼)

How long are the movie trailers?

    Usually around 20 minutes.

    Do they have stadium seating?

    Yes

Hi, i just want to know if they have photobooth inside this theater?

How loud is the standard theater? Is it loud enough where there aren't inaudible dialogue?

The standard theater is very very loud, which is why I like this theatre, they may have listening devices as well.i have no difficulty understanding the dialogue but it's very individualistic

What are the numbers of the three auditoriums in the basement, please? Thank you! :)

    Theaters: 10 - Canal, 11 - Palace, 12 - Jersey

I just wanna know if their seats recline?

Only in the Dolby Cinema theater do the seats recline

We were there last month and saw basic 3D film for $5 on Tuesday. Do you still offer this option on Tuesdays?

They have options but not $5. I am going to see Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Tuesday, and the ticket price is $7.00 It may depend on the movie, too.

    Do they have IMAX 3d?

    Yes

    Do they have reclining chairs?

They did not have the new, oversized recliners in the theater that I was in ( Capitol) There are so many smaller theaters in this movie theater, I would call and check about… Read more

    How parking around there?

    Nah

How comfortable are the seats in IMAX?

They're very comfortable compared to what they had before!

I got bed bugs from this theater?

I don't know about the other screening rooms in the theater, but the IMAX room has leather seats and I have never had a problem.

    Do they allow backpacks in?

Yes they do. Or your shopping bags if you have them.

    Do they serve alcohol?

    No

The energy is right there, hovering, but it never actually lands. It's giving "almost iconic" but not quite--like a party that never fully starts. And that's what gets me. Because this bar could EASILY be that spot. The kind people plan their week around. Where are the themed nights? Where's the drama? The chaos? Give me a reason to come back on a random Wednesday. Do a city-event tie-in, a holiday takeover, literally anything that makes it feel alive instead of just... existing. Because right now it feels like a missed opportunity wearing a cute outfit. BUT--let's talk about the one thing they absolutely did not fumble: the view. The VIEW??? Insane. Genuinely stunning. The kind of view that makes you pause mid-sentence and remember you're in New York and not just spiraling in your own life choices. It's carrying the entire experience on its back, respectfully. So yeah. I'd come back... but mostly for the view and the potential. If they ever decide to actually do something with this space? It could be dangerous (in a good way). Until then, it's vibes... just not fully realized ones.

The view is gorgeous and sweeping. The service is attentive and professional. The drinks are sophisticated. I ended up here because I saw a video about their gin and tonic. Sounds simple, but it's one of my favorite drinks, and I'm always looking for someone who can do it well. I ordered their "dear G&T" and it was a fruity, complex riff on my old favorite. I also got the foreign forage, "a bourbon smash with a mint zing." It was also a delicious take on a classic. They have several types of cocktails, all broken down by spirit and flavor profile. They also offer a lot of spirits made in New York State. They have cocktails with earthy notes, fruity notes, fancy martinis, and a section boasting limited edition and special spirits, if you're "feeling fancy" and wanna cough up 35 bucks instead of 20 or 25! They have a bar snacks menu (sliders, nuts, and the like). I had their thick cut fries and they were light, seasoned, and tasty. I couldn't stop eating them. Midtown or not, I highly recommend this spot, which also has a couple other locations, including Gramercy.
