The AMC theater is beautiful. I love the imax theater and all it has to offer. Being a Stubbs member really pays off. The services was quick and easy. Our theater was jammed packed. The pretzel was gigantic, the foot long was D'licious. I sipped a little soda, I forgot my water in the car. I haven't had soda in over a decade, I drink flavored seltzer as my soda. The movie Michael. It was just alright. If you're a big MJ fan you know what I mean. The very first song by Lil MJ, horrible. The acts, horrible. Actors seem under pressure to portray MJ and give a perfect performance or imitation. I give the the theater 10 and the movie gets 6. Inspire more, Yelp more!

For the price of a ticket these days I expect clean comfortable accommodations. I get it here. It wasn't freezing or too hot. Movie was good but could have cut about 15-20 minutes. Dragging out the ending for suspense became less suspenseful for me. I'm recommending this theater just like I did 10 years ago!

This location is actually one of the largest AMCs in the city. I must say that it is much cleaner than Times Squares Empire 25(no offense to that theater). I never eat movie theater food as it is so overpriced, but there is always a waft of fresh popcorn being made in the popcorn machines. The service here is pretty fast. The box office attendants are on top of things. One of the reasons I attend this theater more than others is the fact that they have so many early screenings. Today, I saw the 3D Billie Eilish Concert in Aud 5. The 3D experience was alright, I'm a bigger fan of IMAX auditoriums.

My favorite AMC location! It's so big and beautiful, and I love the themed theaters inside. They frequently have cool interactive popups for films and you can sometimes see mini exhibits with real Costumes and props. My favorite popup so far was the Black Phone 2 one -- so immersive!! The IMAX screen here is the BIGGEST I've ever seen. It's hard to get tickets though, especially for any 70mm IMAX films. You have to book as early as you can. I wish they had the reclining chairs though.

Quirky AMC Theater that serves wine and beer. Would recommend ordering your food ahead of time because it can take them a while to reheat those bad boys for you. Other than that, love the themed theaters, and standard AMC soda machines.

This movie theater brings me back to my child hood days of going to the movies with so much excitement. It's huge and next to Lincoln Center. When you get off the local 1 train at 66st Lincoln Center you walk about a block uptown on Broadway and its there. This movie theater also has several premieres lights camera action .

Best location for IMAX in NYC and great for Dolby as well! Yay! 2025 - Finally! All the theaters in this locations are now renovated with plush seats! Recently came to watch a movie in the lower level - black plush seats, but they don't recline or have heat though... some of locations do. Still good and glad it's renovated and can book tickets in advance. When your tickets tell you what theater to go to, you do need the check which theater number it's in...and know if going upstairs or downstairs IMAX on the 4th floor Theaters 1-9 are on the second floor (theater 1 is Dolby) Theaters 10-12 are the in lower level Get the AMC app if you don't have it... Yes, one pays a premium for tickets but get discount tickets or better yet get on AMC A-List! Now get 4 movies a week! $28/month (that's the price of 1 IMAX tix alone!)... Make sure to scan your ticket in (pay attention to the updated rules).

I recently visited AMC Lincoln Square with my son, who insisted that we all go see Michael, at this movie theater and the whole experience turned into something really special, largely thanks to the theater itself. Thank you to my son! First off, this location is massive and impressively well kept. From the moment you walk in, there's a kind of buzz that makes it feel like more than just a movie theater, wow it feels like an exciting experience. The lobby is spacious and clean, with plenty of kiosks to keep lines moving quickly, even when it's busy. The staff were friendly and efficient, which made everything easy from the start. We watched the film in one of their premium auditoriums, and that's where AMC Lincoln Square really stands out. The screen was enormous, the sound system was crisp and immersive, and the seating was extremely comfortable with plenty of leg room and great sightlines all around. It's the kind of setup that lets you fully sink into the movie without distractions. As for Michael, it felt less like a warts and all documentary and more like a musical celebration of an icon. The film leans into the legacy and artistry, leaving audiences feeling satisfied and entertained, though it may leave those looking for a deeper or more critical exploration of the tougher parts of the story wanting more. Still, seeing it in such a high quality theater really elevated the experience and played to the film's strengths. And I have to mention the snacks that I had which was the pretzel which was enormous and surprisingly delicious! Honestly, it was so big I couldn't even finish it (which never happens), but it was a perfect movie treat and definitely worth trying. What made the night most memorable, though, was sharing it with my son and the others, we had a great time. Between the energy of the theater and the spectacle of the film, it felt like more than just a movie, it was a great night out together. Overall, AMC Lincoln Square delivers comfort, quality, and a true big screen experience. I'll absolutely be coming back.

Best AMC in the city. I'm absolutely obsessed with this place. It's huge and it's themed and there's something to look at everywhere. The staff is quick and accurate with food and drink orders. The best part, though, is the amazing IMAX screen. If you live in New York and haven't seen a movie in IMAX at this specific location, you're missing out in a serious way. It's unlike everything else and completely worth the trek from any part of the city. I will praise AMC Lincoln Square til the day I die!

Amazing theater! The IMAX experience was 100% worth it. I highly recommend getting here bright and early.

I went to this movie theatre to see a film recently. I hadn't been to the cinema in long time but I was prepared in case the sound was too loud for me. I bought a large drink and standard popcorn from the concession stand and enjoyed the film. The film was an early showing so there were a lot of available seats. I had bought a ticket in advance.

Ask the Community - AMC Lincoln Square 13

Quick question ? Are the AMC are going to renovate the AMC Lincoln Square 13…

Hi! I'm not sure if they're renovating again. It's gone through a series of upgrades already.

Does amc allow a small suitcase?

    Yes

    Recliners in imax theater?

    No just in Dolby

    Do they have bedbugs?

Not at this theater, no. (Knock on wood! 👼)

How long are the movie trailers?

    Usually around 20 minutes.

    Do they have stadium seating?

    Yes

Hi, i just want to know if they have photobooth inside this theater?

How loud is the standard theater? Is it loud enough where there aren't inaudible dialogue?

The standard theater is very very loud, which is why I like this theatre, they may have listening devices as well.i have no difficulty understanding the dialogue but it's very individualistic

What are the numbers of the three auditoriums in the basement, please? Thank you! :)

    Theaters: 10 - Canal, 11 - Palace, 12 - Jersey

I just wanna know if their seats recline?

Only in the Dolby Cinema theater do the seats recline

We were there last month and saw basic 3D film for $5 on Tuesday. Do you still offer this option on Tuesdays?

They have options but not $5. I am going to see Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Tuesday, and the ticket price is $7.00 It may depend on the movie, too.

    Do they have IMAX 3d?

    Yes

    Do they have reclining chairs?

They did not have the new, oversized recliners in the theater that I was in ( Capitol) There are so many smaller theaters in this movie theater, I would call and check about…

    How parking around there?

    Nah

How comfortable are the seats in IMAX?

They're very comfortable compared to what they had before!

I got bed bugs from this theater?

I don't know about the other screening rooms in the theater, but the IMAX room has leather seats and I have never had a problem.

    Do they allow backpacks in?

Yes they do. Or your shopping bags if you have them.

    Do they serve alcohol?

    No

Without giving away the movie you do need to see thunderbolts (new avengers) before seeing this Spiderman. I was happy to see one of my favorite stranger things characters in the movie. I didn't feel any mist in my seat because the boring couple next to me turned theirs off. I was so happy when the lady went to the bathroom I was able to enjoy the movie more. I recommend going to a higher level to watch the movie I was in D13 & D14. Next time I will sit further in the back because there were some scenes that I saw flashing lights in my side view. Either way it was wonderful for my first time. I don't recommend getting popcorn it will fly everywhere. Haha. While the ticket prices were high its worth it in my book. Your paying for an experience. The loud banging noises were super cool. I did notice the isle seats move a lot more than the inner seats. I think this will be the only way I will watch marvel movies from now on! The seats were clean, the floors were clean. I was pretty surprised at how clean the theather was overall. Don't come tho if you are going to be a chatter box. If you have add you might get distracted by the moving seats pop an Adderall if you need too! The theater was clean, well maintained, and the staff we interacted with were friendly and pleasant. Our seats were comfortable, and one feature we especially appreciated was the built-in trays. It's such a simple detail, but it made a big difference for our kids--they didn't have to balance popcorn, snacks, and drinks in their laps for the entire movie. The only downside was that the sound seemed a bit louder than necessary during parts of the movie. It wasn't enough to ruin the experience, but we definitely noticed it. Overall, we had a great visit and would happily return for another family movie night. The comfortable seating, thoughtful tray tables, and convenient Times Square location made it an easy choice for celebrating a special occasion.
