Very seldom do we choose to go to the theaters to see a movie but our experience was not as good as Regal cinemas. Movie was great our experience here not so good. Reclining chairs were not that comfortable and I felt like I was focussed on the audio from a movie playing next to us. Overall really not that great of an experience. AMC has definitely stepped up its game, and I can honestly say I always choose them over Regal whenever possible. I absolutely love the recliner seating, it's perfect for cuddling up with my husband and watching a new movie. The have reserved seating now, so when you buy a ticket you are selecting your seat at that moment, which is kind of cool. I always have to say that their rewards program is awesome! I'm a premier stubs member. All the convenience fees are waived when ordering online. You gets points for every dollar you spend. Free size upgrades on popcorn and fountain drink, 5 dollar tickets on Tuesdays and the rewards come pretty frequently. The staff is friendly and courteous and, the best thing is you are in charge of the destiny of your popcorn. Do you want no butter? Cool. Do you want to stand there for ten minutes and cover every kernel? You get it girl. The choice is yours and it's a beautiful thing! read more

This has become my go-to movie theater. In fact I've become a bit of a movie theater snob. Reclining leather seats will do that to you. Yes I know that the Regal has upgraded to reserved seats that also recline but it's just not the same. Their seats are not as cushy and comfy as the AMC. The prices at the AMC are also better and their rewards club is miles ahead. Yes it'll cost you $15 per year but the rewards are amazing: free upgrades on popcorn and drinks at every visit and every dollar you spend on tickets or concessions gets you points towards cash rewards that can be used on either. The biggest perk imo is saving the online convenience fees when buying tickets. My only gripe is that since it's a smaller theater with less screens they don't always get all of the movies when they come out. Word to the wise though, the individual theaters don't hold a lot of people so be sure to buy your tickets early (I've been known to buy a week in advance) if you don't want to be stuck right up front. read more

I love this place! Ever since they renovated and added the recliners, it is always my first option for watching movies. It's very comfortable! My wife loves to curl up next to me and enjoy the show. It's almost as if we're at home on our couch...until the person next to us starts chewing gum and smacks to the point where you began to wonder how any single piece of gum could be so delicious...but back to what I was saying! The auds are always clean. Any technical difficulties are resolved in a timely manner. I have no complaints. This AMC is very special to me. I saw my first movie here in buffalo with someone very special and dear to me. I split my time between movies here and the Regal at the galleria. What I really like about AMCs in general is the amount of food you get. This AMC, unlike regal, gives you TWO cheeses with your nachos and you get it in a box that makes it easier to sit on your lap and handle in the movie theater. I also like that you have the option to fill up your drink on your own and get free refills (a much needed change as regal does not offer this). This past Tuesday I got to experience AMC Tuesday's (you get $5.00 tickets if you're an amc card holder). It was my first time going and it was LACED with high school students. The theater was PACKED. If you don't like packed movies.. Tuesday is NOT the day to go. Furthermore, the seats were a bit sticky (guess they weren't cleaned properly right before the movie started). Other than that, I really had a good movie experience. I'll definitely be coming here again.. but NOT on a Tuesday lol. read more

Went the other day asked about afternoon prices and had a snotty kid tell me we haven't done that for years...im sorry I asked. The pretzels were dry and oversalted. The customer service is horrible. This theater is worth going out of my way for! I'm the person who likes to put my feat up on the chair in front of me at the movies and you don't need to do that here. Bring a blanket, push the button, and recline back in your seat. The only problem that I have is that I keep hitting the button to put my seat back down during the movie. All the renovations are great. The seats are really comfortable. I don't think there is any difference in price between AMC and Regal. You must pre order tickets in advance, a lot of shows sell out. Because of this it is well worth it to join their rewards program that costs $10 a year, it waives the online fees. It also give you $10 for every $100 you spend. read more

AMC is by far the best movie theatre in the area. The addition of the giant sofa style reclining seats put this theatre above and beyond all others and probably saved their business to be honest. AMC wasn't always the go-to movie theatre, but that sure has changed. The chairs are so comfortable and you feel like you're watching a movie in the comfort of your own home...especially when I remember to bring a blanket :) The snack selection is just as good as every other movie theatre and I believe it may be slightly cheaper. They also have self serve coke machines with every option of beverage you could think of possible. Only downfall to this theatre is that you have to buy your tickets ahead of time to ensure that you and your party have seats together in the theatre. This is difficult if you decide to go see a movie last minute because by this time, all of the seats are picked over. So plan accordingly and buy tickets sooner rather than later!! The AMC also has a friendly staff and great customer service. Two occasions I was very please with the customer service I received. First occasion: there was a very rude person in the same movie I was watching. To the point where I couldn't even hear the actors at times. My mom and I told the manager after the movie was over (as did many other guests) and without hesitation she gave my mom and I free tickets to our next movie. Second occasion: My mom and I purchased one too many tickets for a movie we were seeing that night (we thought her friend was coming with us but couldn't). We thought we were going to be stuck with the extra ticket but when we got to the theatre, they refunded us without any hesitation! I find this theater mediocre at best. The chairs are comfy- that's about the best feature. Second best are the soda machines - those fancy Coke machines with a gazillion choices. The large popcorn is fairly small. The seats while comfy have a shared armrest on one of the two sides--stupid! And even stupider they ate almost on the same level with only a slight rise the farther you go back. If someone up front stands, they block your view. I probably won't go back. read more

The theater looks older but you can't always judge a book by its cover. The theater was nice, the choice of snacks was abundant. The movie that I saw was good too. The seats that we had were not clean, the cup holders had a sticky substance in the bottom and garbage stuck to it. The bathrooms were filfthy!!! Absolutely gross bathrooms. There was toilet paper on the floor, urine on the seats. The touchless Dyson hand dryers were collecting a yellow substance on the bottom. I went into the bathroom before I watched my movie and the garbage was already filled (my movie started at 6:30pm). I went to the bathroom after my movie and the garbage was over flowing onto the floor. My husband told me that he didn't dare use the urinal in the mens bathroom bc he would have to step in urine that was on the floor, then track it all over the place. Absolutely discusting!!! YUCK. Since the pandemic started I have never seen anything this gross. I will go to regal theaters from now on. AMC could use a staff just for cleaning!!! read more

SO COMFORTABLE. It's almost like watching a movie at home. Feel free to bring a blanket and recline all the way, just make sure you watch something with action so you don't get too cozy and pass out. They also have one of those new pop machines where you can get 513581501 choices of pop. Before the renovation, we would normally drive all the way out to the Regal on Transit because those seats were more comfortable, despite Maple Ridge 8 being very close to us. The seats at Maple Ridge used to be hard and have itchy upholstery. Now, it's safe to say we will be going to Maple Ridge 8 from now on. I saw Night At The Museum 3 and the movie wasn't that great, but the new recliners made it a very fun and relaxing experience. The seats were just comfortable and it feels more like hanging at home on the couch, which is a bonus. It reclines far enough that you can be laying flat if you want and boy, are they soft and cozy. The seats are also wide, so you have a lot of personal space, which is nice. Truth be told, these seats are nicer than my couch at home. One big difference is assigned seating. I ordered online and selected the seats we wanted, which was cool. The drawback? Some idiots bought tickets for the wrong day and were sitting in someone else's assigned seats. I'm not quite sure how that got resolved, but the ticket collector probably shouldn't have let them in, in the first place. The food is still way overpriced and kind of crappy, but that's the problem of all movie theaters. This theater still lacks the IMAX and special features of the Regal, so I can't give it a full 5 stars, but the recliners are awesome. Not sure if it will lose its novelty after a while, but first time was a blast. read more

I love this theater and travel out of my way to come to this particular location because of their unbelievably large and cozy seats. Ticket purchasing is very efficient as there is a ticket counter where you can wait on line, speak to someone and pick out your seat, or, if that line is too long and you don't feel like waiting, they have electronic ticket booths and you can do the process yourself in a fraction of the time. I like that you are able to pick your seat before making your purchase. There's nothing worse than going to the theater with three friends and realizing after you have bought your ticket that the four of you can't find seats remotely close to one another. The leg room is ridiculous, I literally felt like I was curled up in my bed watching the movie. The seats recline back super far, just don't fall asleep like my boyfriend did, 11 minutes into the movie last night.....I wish I was joking. What I cannot understand, and yes I am well aware that movie theaters inflate their prices of drinks and snacks, but what I still cannot understand is why a WATER, CHERRY COKE and a MEDIUM POPCORN came to $21. Hold the freaking phone. That's absurd. Absurd I say. The water should have been $3, cherry coke should have been $4 and the popcorn should have been $6 MAX. We shouldn't have paid a dime over $13. This movie theater is asking women to bring their large purses into the theater with their own personal baggie of almonds of twizzlers. Lower your prices and you will do better business. read more

I RARELY go to the movies (i.e - like once every 2 years). I had a gift card that was lying around for quite sometime, so we finally decided to check it out. Parking - good luck. We came to an early show and still had to park around the corner, in the back, behind the building. Tickets - we ordered our tickets online earlier in the day through Fandango. It was extremely convenient walking up to the kiosk and printing out our tickets upon arrival. Concessions - your typical movie theater selections, at your typical movie theater prices. Theater/seat - the comfy, cushiony, reclining seats are AWESOME! I don't think I could go see a movie again at a different theater. read more

We love what they've done with the place! The new seating is so comfortable, you feel like you're in your own home. It's also nice that you're guaranteed the seat you choose when purchasing a ticket. Even with the new renovations, they've still managed to keep ticket prices lower than other theaters. My only complaints are with cleanliness and parking. Whenever we go there on the weekend, it's nearly impossible to find a parking spot. You have to drive around and wait for the next movie to let out so you can hunt someone down for their parking spot. Also, the last time we were there, we were VERY disgusted by the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The women's bathroom had toilet paper all over the floors. The men's bathroom was worse. The floors were all wet around the urinals (with what my husband believed to be urine) and there was also garbage on the floor. And there were no paper towels. Aside from that, we've always been happy with AMC and we plan to return again soon! read more

Very clean sat in theater 1 to see minions last night the chairs are totally awesome and worth the extra $2 bucks vs other theaters also sat very front all the way to side because those were only seats avail but still managed to see and hear plenty well. I love the seating. Recliners that go all the way back, you can almost lay flat. I also like the reserve seating which allows you to show up right at showtime and not have to jockey for a seat. Place is clean, I don't order from the concession but it's the same as any other theatre. read more

My boyfriend has me completely spoiled with this AMC thing! I really don't like going to other theatres because I'm not as comfortable! This location is great! Beside a recent scare of the fire alarm going off in the middle of the movie (AMC gave a free passes to come back) I'd say that each and every experience here has been great.
