Dinner tonight with my daughter, and a friend with her daughter. It was their first visit and I told them what good food and service they offer and the warm ambiance But the night started bizarre with our server seemingly preoccupied and just seemed she wanted to be somewhere else. Then it took way too long just for water and she forgot the lemon slices we asked for and had to make multiple trips before we even ordered. We ordered the ribs, duck wings and baked rigatoni. My friend enjoyed the rigatoni but couldn't finish it and gave it to her daughter. The child bit into the garlic bread and found some type of nylon strings we determined were bristles from a cooking brush. The manager was apologetic but offered no recompense for this! To make it up to the child we thought maybe a dessert was good and ordered the brownie. My friend's daughter found a hair in it! I was horrified and embarrassed since I recommended the place. When the server brought the bill, I asked for the manager and he came to the table and then was truly dumbfounded, and offered nothing for this truly gross series of events. In fact he kept muttering how this has not happened twice at one table, and almost seemed...suspicious? My friend suggested he go think about it and come back which he did. He did offer one explanation and I am not making this up, this was all the result of the server "not feeling well" and he whispered "you know that time of the month". That was the end for me. I got the bill, they gave us a small discount and we left. All I can say is mediocrity and misogyny have found another home. I've dined here and at other locations across the country and until today I thought they had good food and excellent customer service. Unfortunately, this location is not what it once was and I certainly won't be back for dinner or dessert. read more

Don't change a winning team. I had the South Paw burger before and enjoyed it, so I had it again. Still sloppy but still very good. Two patties on a bun with Monterey Jack cheese, caramelized onions, chipotle aioli, pico de gallo, fresh jalapeños, lettuce and topped with guacamole. It's served with a nice portion of very good and crispy french fries. The restaurant was very busy, so service was a bit slower than usual. read more

We went there to meet with someone and asked the server to wait until you were done with the meeting to take our order. In the meantime, we sat with empty drinks until the meeting was over. When we did order, the food was terrible. The pretzel is huge, but all it is is dough. Probably one of the worst soft pretzels I've ever had. The tater tots were very greasy and my burger was basically burnt. Three people no alcoholic drinks, ordering just burgers and fries/tater tots and the bill was $76. Ok... this place is alright. I think my favorite thing is the ambience, though it's basically a sports bar with tables inside. 3 of us sat outside... they have tables with high chairs and regular chairs. Bar is fully stocked. We tried the Fried Deviled Eggs and thought they were OK. Nothing really to be "famous" for in our opinion. The jalapeños on them weren't spicy at all. Our daughter liked the Salmon, though the string beans needed salt badly. Decent, but plain. Wife was good with the small Caesar Salad with chicken, but she noticed that the croutons were huge and a bit soft. It's as if they were added to the salad hours ago. My Southern Buttermilk Chicken sandwich was also ok, but it was kind of dry and very thick. The chicken alone was like 3/4" thick before you add the breading, the pickles/arugula and the bread. I recommend they pound the chicken breast more flat, or go thick but add more pickles, onion and arugula. It was so dry that I asked for additional dressing. The service was pretty good, actually. They were on the ball with things like pre-serving ketchup before The food came if you asked for fries. read more

The atmosphere is really cool. They have a lot of sports photos hanging on the walls and an old scoreboard that says Sweet Home High School on it which I'm not sure if it's authentic or not. The fireplaces were cool too. I ordered the knockout shrimp which were excellent but I also ordered the 8oz sirloin. It was a bit tough so the meat quality is not there. They advertise "Juicy Steaks" on the sign but the steak really wasn't juicy and I ordered it medium rare. I also didn't find the staff to be very friendly. The staff wasn't rude or anything like that but they also didn't really seem to be thrilled to be there either. The food runner brought my food out and left it on the table without even acknowledging me. The waitress did check on me once or twice. It really wasn't busy in there so I'm not sure what the deal was. I probably won't come here again but if I were to come here I'd probably just stick with drinks and apps. read more

Food was tasty, seasoned pretty well. Happy the Pretzel had minimum salt. White queso was not very flavorful, but the Sriracha ranch didn't disappoint (these side sauces were both included with the Pretzel). Some kind of mustard would have been a great choice if available. Ribeye Steak tasty - seemed a little small for 12oz. Broccoli fresh and cooked perfectly. Not a real fan of the cheddar mashed potatoes (didn't seem fresh), would have loved to be able to substitute a baked potato or another option. This order was delivered by DoorDash and I could see they came directly from the restaurant and yet everything was lukewarm. Me and my wife came in yesterday for lunch and the first thing I noticed was the outside patio! Still active for those who want to eat in the cold with a fire heat im assuming. Then When I walked in, I was amazed at how simple but rich the place looked. The fire place was at a distance where everyone felt like they were included. We ordered the deviled eggs, wings, calamari, a double pattied burger, sweet patato taters, strawberry lemonade and I believe a pina colada and everything was so amazing in taste! The only thing was, the sweet potato taters could've been more crisp and burger could've used a touch more of seasoning unless you like a balanced taste of the meat and seasonings in which it was perfect for that and the fries... just so amazing. Rachel I believe who served us, was so amazing and attentive. There was another staff who I asked to see if the chef can make our burger medwell and he said they're smash burgers and they aren't really that big and he was super nice. What really grasped my interest was the cleanliness. The bathroom didn't have a sewer aroma and had a fragrance scent, seeing the chef with the locks/braids wash his hands up to his bottom forearm made me feel more comfortable in eating since there's not a lot of people in general who don't know the difference between cleanliness and sanitation in which I feel this establishment is on top of it all! Waiter disappeared so we asked another waiter could she please take an order so all food could come at the same time and she said yes and left and never came back.
