We came for the 9AM movie and waited in line starting then. The kitchen wasn't open, and we were later told it wouldn't open until 10:30. By the time we could place our orders, the movie was almost over. We ended up leaving and now have to finish watching it at home. Our whole theater experience was ruined. The only other options were to wait for the food and then go home, or spend more money to see another movie and neither was acceptable. While we appreciate the $40 Stranger Things voucher for the food, that doesn't fix the fact that our movie experience was compromised. For big releases, this needs to be handled better: staff adequately and clearly communicate kitchen hours. This was completely unacceptable, and I hope future customers don't have to deal with the same issues.

Easy to go through the lines if your are and AMC A List member. You can see up to 4 movies per week with the membership. I like that most of the theatres have the reclining seats and tray tables.

Out of all the movie theaters in the greater Nashville area, this is the one I frequent the most. We were able to self-kiosk our tickets upon arrival. I love the immersion of the Dolby theaters - you feel like you're in the film with surround sound and felt movement in the chairs. I have also seen films in the Imax and their Dine-In here. All are decent theaters with quality recliner chairs; however, the Dine-In is my least favorite with constant distractions and smells and the Imax doesn't compare to the Dolby sound experience IMO. As with any theater, food/drink prices are grossly overpriced and I tend to avoid them. The only uncleanliness I have noticed is the lack of attention to the bathrooms.

    I'm heading to auditorium 20.

I ended up setting a personal record visiting this AMC. I had watched three different movies in three consecutive days at three different movie theatres during my trip to Nashville. I decided to change things up, breaking away from Regal to visit this AMC in Franklin. What makes this AMC special is that you can order food at the concession stand and have it delivered to your seat. At Cineplex theatres in Canada, we have a similar setup. The difference is that you place an order at your seat and your order comes to you as part of your VIP ticket. You also pay a premium for this service at over $23 a ticket. At this AMC, you pay for your movie ticket only. The dine-in feature is an added perk. I paid $12.71 through the app and picked out my seat in advance. Cineplex seems like a ripoff in comparison. I purchased a ticket to see Everything Everywhere All at Once for 3 pm on July 4th. It was a straightforward transaction through the AMC app. All I needed to do was show my QR code at the theatre. There was plenty of parking in front of this theatre. I parked and made my way over. It's pleasant outside, with a fountain, greenery, and benches. I hit the concession stand to check out what to order. You cannot order food in advance. It was a late lunch for me. I saw bacon chicken mac on the menu and knew that I had to have it. I also got a small fountain drink with my order. The woman at the concession stand was patient with this first time app user. I had my QR code, but she needed more details. I was able to scroll up for her to get my name, auditorium number, and seat. I paid with a credit card and all was great. She gave me a cup for me to get my drink. I have been digging AHA drinks these days. They are fizzy and sugar-free. I got the blueberry pomegranate drink and loved the flavours. You fill up your fountain drink yourself. This AMC has twenty theatres. My movie was in auditorium 20. Signage was straightforward for me to get there. I visited the washroom before and after the show. It was clean and each stall was spacious. My seat was D4. The seats are leather and recline. Mine was comfy. I loved it. My food had arrived in a plastic bag. I thanked the woman who handed it over. I was excited. Here's the kicker. I took photos of my food in the dark. I was pleased how they had turned out. Yes, I was shovelling food into my mouth in the dark. The bacon chicken mac was awesome. You have your mac and cheese as the base. Breaded white chicken meat is deep-fried and sliced on top. Crispy bacon is chopped up and added with the chicken. It was delicious. It was comforting with a lot of protein to keep me full. The mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy. I loved every bite. My movie was quirky, but entertaining and good. I enjoyed it. I loved the air conditioning in this theatre. It was effective and perfect. The AMC was promoting two movies that foreshadowed what I'd be watching soon. There was a Minions foosball game that was adorable. I also loved the Minions backdrop where you could take photos. I'd end up watching that movie in Nashville later on my trip, severing my consecutive streak. It advertised Nope. It never occurred to me that I'd end up at a screening of this flick in Toronto. I set another personal record of seeing five movies in a month, with each one at a different theatre. This place has MacGuffins bar and lounge. You can grab a drink before or after your movie, or both if you're feeling rich. The seats around the area look like they were from the 60's style-wise. They looked cool. I see that this AMC hasn't been rated highly here. My view is a bit different because a movie experience in the greater Toronto area is way more expensive than what I had paid here, especially for getting food delivered to your seat. I am also not a regular movie-going gal. I do it in spurts. My tip at any movie theatre is to do a matinee if you can. You'll save a bit of money and it's typically not crowded. I had a great time. This theatre is perfect for those living in Franklin or neighbouring Brentwood. It's also great for someone like me who likes to have food delivered to my seat at a theatre because I'm so used to fetching my own. It was a nice perk that I thoroughly enjoyed. When I'm in Franklin again and feel like taking in a flick, I'd return here. (324)

Is dinner ordered and served at time of the movie? Our ticket is for 9, would we arrive earlier to order or have the arranged the time to order before movie starts?

When you get seated there are menus at your seats. Servers come around and take orders before the movie starts. They deliver as soon as it's ready and you pay with a credit card. There's also a call button on your seat to request something at any…

    Do the seats recline?

Indeed they do! They recline back and have a footrest that extends out, just like a la-z-boy style recliner at home.

Since the theater doesn't make it clear, how do I know which screens have dining option?

They have 8 or 9 screens that are in their Dine-in section. The AMC app shows which showtimes offer dine-in seating, reserved seating, signature recliners, etc.

Is there a specific DAY and/or TIME FRAME for discounted/matinee ticket pricing? If yes, when?

There is an afternoon matinee everyday and a theoretical discount matinee for films starting between 4-5 PM everyday. But you will notice that the management plays games with this with scheduling and they will ghost town the entire building before…

They occupy a great corner in the complex, which is a stellar location and allows for a good sized patio in addition to the dining room and bar area. That patio also makes bringing the pups a lot easier. As with all Neighbors, they are all about sports and with walls and walls of TV's, you cannot miss the game or event you are after! Food and drink here are solid. If you have never been to Neighbors, it is true sports bar food with wings, nachos, burgers, sandwiches, pretzel bites, etc...and a few house specialties, but mostly your standard stuff. And that is not a bad thing, while simple, they do it well and I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered here. Service is friendly and good, but efficient is questionable as they recently introduced a flag based system where you put your number card on your stand and when your server notices it, they come your way. My only issue is this takes the natural check-in's of service away and while the idea is good in theory, execution is still a bit clunky as we had to seek out our server twice after having our card displayed for several minutes. Overall, big fan of the Neighbors brand and really enjoy this location in Frankin!

The Pond doesn't disappoint. It is exactly what one would expect when seeking a dive bar atmosphere. A little ratty, a little rowdy and a whole lot of fun. The coup de grace was they had Guinness on tap, which was completely unexpected. We traveled to Franklin looking for an alternative to Broadway in Nashville on our first night in town. It is worth the trip. Franklin is a very old town with great old architecture and buildings over 200 years old that still look stunning. The Pond was the real reason for my drive down although it was our last stop on our tour of Franklin. The staff was friendly, the Hamburger and fries was delicious, and the beer was cold. They have many options to choose from on tap. They have Darts inside and a couch you'd find down in your friends basement that he found on a tree bank trash day, but that simply adds to the dive bar charm. We stayed for one drink and the burger as we were exhausted from a red eye flight the night before. If you're looking for a dive bar that stays open late and apparently gets packed as the night goes on, this is the spot for you. Most places close early in Franklin, so this is apparently the after hours spot that everyone ends up going to when all other options are closed. The Pond reminded me of a few dive bar spots in Vegas, and I have to recommend you pay them a visit, if for no other reason, just to say you've been there.

You can order either two or three, and of course I went with three! The buns were soft, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and they used just the right amount of buffalo sauce. I added blue cheese for dipping, and wow... sooo good! They also come with your choice of a side, and the Tots were a great pick. We also shared the Rainbow Roll, and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not counting those as quality issues but rather selection of a target audience. It may not be for everyone in that regard. But I'm often out late when traveling, and usually bored, so that's how I found this place. It's open late, and that was enough to make me try it. But it's the socialness that brings me back over and over. For someone who doesn't drink, I visit a lot of bars. I find this a particularly welcoming one. Rare is the bar where people are as friendly and social as here. In a lot of bars, I come and go without even feeling noticed. Here, I have met and chatted with quite a number of people. Hayley, the late evening bartender this time, is one of the hardest working bartenders I've run across anywhere. A lot of my friends are service staff, many of them bartenders. So I know what it takes to do well in that. It's not easy. There is a lot of subtlety to keeping a bunch of people calm and content when they're drinking. She was serving the whole room, not just from behind the counter. She took the time out to (re)teach me play pool, something I've not done for decades. Then she checked back periodically to make sure I was interacting with other people and having a good time. A lot of the people she seemed to already know, but she was tending to each in a way that seemed appropriate to them. I was really impressed, and in fact extended my stay in the area by a day because I was having such a good time and wanted to come back the following night. And the food is decent (for a bar). The kitchen isn't available quite as late as the bar, which stays open surprisingly late. Still, they've planned for that and have 'brown bag' offerings of sandwiches you can buy when the kitchen itself is closed. I think that is really clever, and I wish more bars did that. All in all, I like the place and if I get back to Nashville, I'll make a point to be back here.
