Went to see the 7:30pm showing of Eternity. It was a funny rom com. The theater seats were actually almost full because we ended up on the second row from the screen. The view wasn't so bad. I got to use my complimentary AMC Gift cards from another visit that took some money off of my popcorn and pretzels/nacho cheese purchases. The previews were decent before the movie, but again I enjoyed the rom com movie and the outcome was predictable, but I'm here for it. Our theater was a little dirty, popcorn was on the floor in our seating area prior to getting there. Also someone's dirty kleenex was in my armrest cup holder but I didn't let that both me. I just didn't touch it at all. I understand it might not be much time to clean the theater in-between some showings but during this time of year with germs being rapidly spread, it would be good to do better at checking. read more

I haven't been to this location in a long while, it is located at the back of Traders Point strip mall and there is plenty of parking. I went to an early afternoon movie so there wasn't a lot of people inside. I had purchased my ticket online so I used the QR code to scan at the entrance. There is an area for concessions and to the side is a bar area as well. I was disappointed to see no special deals for single individuals, but they had specials like two hot dogs and drinks. Once inside the theater, I noticed most seats were dirty and it made me question when the last time they were deep cleaned. It's not bad, it's not great... it's your average movie theater. I recommend purchasing your ticket on line, so you just show your QR code and march on in. Concessions are the usual overpriced offerings. The popcorn is decent. but you have to put your own butter on it and seasoning if you want any of that. Unfortunately the areas to do so are not the cleanest EVER. Otherwise there is really nothing that would differentiate this theater from any other. I love coming to this movie theatre. Great that they have a bar. Convenient to buy tickets online and be able to purchase them at a kiosk. Plenty of parking, bathrooms are always clean. There are some chairs at the bar if you're a bit early and want to sit. The seats recline which is a great touch. Besides the concession stands being overly pricey (but that's at every movie theater) I am a sucker for their popcorn. My friend had pretzel bites, which she loves and they actually give you plenty of cheese. This is also a great place to come watch a movie during the day as it's not as crowded. read more

The movie didn't actually start until 8:44. 29 MINUTES of adds for a movie I paid to see! Took my two boys to see Project Mail Mary in theater 11. Movie has several quiet points. I generally opt to see movies at Flix Brewhouse in Carmel, but I watched the Eras Tour movie at this AMC location. I love Flix, but sometimes I just want to watch a movie without the expectation of ordering a drink and meal. This movie theater has comfy reclining seats which made it feel like I was watching the movie in my living room! I did find a hair on the arm rest, but when was the last time you saw a movie theater that was immaculate? Flix will remain my go-to for a movie experience, but this AMC is solid. read more

I liked the variety of food items that were available but... baby movie snacks are HIGH! Now i will say the staff was very friendly and customer service is VERY IMPORTANT to me!! So, this place was kind of filthy. The main lobby and concession area appears to be clean and well maintained, but I paid extra to see a movie in IMAX, and the IMAX theater (theater #4) couldn't have been any more disgusting. It was straight out of 1977: Sticky floors, small seats (crammed very close together), and the upholstery on nearly all the seats was very worn and dirty. Little did I know that (presumably) the nicest theater inside the complex would be in the worst shape. In the lobby, they display a pair of leather, recliner seats. I personally just wanna understand how the bar closes before the last movie of the night even starts. As in the final movies for the night have not started yet, but the bar is already locked up and closed. So when I'm trying to order a drink before my movie I'm told everything is shut down for the night. So my question AMC from my business respective will be too fold. One, what's your actual policy? And two, how was it good for business to close the bar before the final movie of the night starts? It would seem more reasonable to at least have the bar open until the last movie runs. At least you have an opportunity to get a few more sales in... and I didn't take any pictures of the movie theater. It's a bit dated, but that's not something. I actually knocked AMC for, because this location isn't a super high traffic, location and investment in updating this particular location wouldn't be savvy from a business sense. Now, their Castleton location, is modern and updated, and it's very comfortable to be in. This location, it isn't modern, but it gets the job done. read more

I've always gone to this theater to see the latest movies out but today I was absolutely put into a state of never coming back. We were greeted by Jaylon at the concession who scanned us in. Very nice and hospitable young man! When we went inside Theater Four the seats we absolutely filthy, nasty and disgusting! I refused to sit my clean clothes in such deplorable conditions. As a business and from a manager position this place needs a thorough cleaning. Maybe ditching the fabric seats for a leather or nice vinyl that can be removed and replaced with slip ons as needed. I was so floored by what I saw I had to get creative and found some trash bags to cover the seats. It's was then that I felt somewhat better in trying to enjoy the film I came to see. Will I return? It'll have to be something I really want to see and I'll bring bags to cover my seats. It's really and shame and a disgrace to pay the money you do to sit in soiled and dirty seats! read more

Some of the worst customer service in history, especially when they charge extra for a membership that seems worthless. They don't seem to care about any issues you experience ever. They always just reply with "sorry" or blame others for any issues. I have reached out via web and phone 3 times, no one answers their phones ever, and the web is extremely uncaring & unwilling to assist, they'd rather just say sorry for inconvenience.... WOW! Theaters are already pretty greedy but this just takes it to a whole new level, charge triple for food, and almost the price of a dvd for a ticket and then extra for a premier membership that means nothing if there is an issue. Posted a pic of my email with total lack care and unwillingness to do anything, or keep me as a loyal guest. Great theatre with recliner seats which makes it a lot more relaxed even in the front row. We finally went to see a movie last night during this whole covid situation and it wasn't a bad experience. We were able to reserve our seats online as usual and they even have an option to order your food prior too so that you can just pick it up and go. We decided to wait to get our food once we arrived. We showed our tickets and walked straight up to the food counter to put in our order with no wait. I ordered the chicken tenders and she made them on the spot. They were fresh and who doesn't like that?! The movie was just okay but it felt great to get out the house. There were all of 10 people max in the theater on a Friday night which is pretty crazy. Overall pretty good experience. We will definitely be going again read more

This might be my new go to theater. Why? Well let me tell ya. They have been remodeled since my last visit maybe over a year ago. The seats are reclining just like the ones in Castleton, but they have 'love seat' type options. It's really nice. It looks like regular seating but you can pull the little arm rest up in between you and 'cuddle' with your beau while watching. And always, reclining seats are the best. I feel like AMC chose the right type of material that doesn't easily wear and tear like another theater I used to frequent. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!! I can't express how clean it was and I didn't feel weird sitting there. You can pick your seats now, either online, kiosk, or cashier. I didn't have time to check out the menu but the beau brought back a cheese popcorn and flaming hot Cheetos mix that surprised me. I love that mix (with a different flavor popcorn though). The seats are sticky, stained everywhere, some don't even recline, & the lobby area is gross too. Restrooms are nasty. Grew up going to this theater when it was new but it's such a filthy disappointment now. This theater is dirty! Any floor that isn't carpeted in the lobby is sticky. The bathroom floor is dirty and dangerously slippery. Our theater was littered with trash when we walked in, did they even clean after the last showing? And my seat was gross, some mystery items stuck to it. Thank goodness it wasn't a full house so I could just move down a seat. The only saving factor was the IMAX movie quality. I do NOT want to go here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else. read more

I have the membership and I was in the membership line to get food while the staff took everyone else first. After 3 customers, I said something. I mentioned that maybe I should just be in the regular line for service? She said, " yes" just go in the regular line. :(. So much for that membership bonus. They were pretty rude. So I am an avid movie goer. I blame it on MoviePass when it released its $9.99/month unlimited movie deal last year. With such a deal, I was going to the movies about twice a week if not more. That meant I got to experience the three close theaters (AMC, Studio Movie Grill, and Flix Brewhouse) pretty extensively. Since MoviePass has gone down the drain, I jumped onto AMC's Stubs A-list $20/month movie program. Side note, this program is pretty sweet! Not the original MoviePass deal sweet, but still saving a ton of money. Anyway, back to this location's review. Since I now exclusively go to AMC for movies, I visit this location quite often. The staff is very attentive most times, though sometimes in the evening, they appear a little understaffed, which forces me to wait in line behind everyone buying tickets despite only needing a scan of my digital ticket. The concessions are pretty pricey as one typically sees at AMC. Sometimes I will splurge a bit for a $6 soda or the $14 Bavarian Legend. Great products but definitely inflated in their pricing. On this point, Flix Brewhouse wins hands down. Their food is reasonably priced and amazing! What this AMC has going for it is its reclining seats. I love them! Makes me almost feel as if I am at home watching the new releases rather than in a theater. The theaters are also clean most times, though there has been a handful of times that I encountered popcorn/sticky seats. My only wish for the seats is that they make the entire armrest cushioned rather than just the top and they allow the movable armrest in the center of every other seat to fold all the way back. Currently they stop about 80% up, which makes it a little uncomfortable especially paired with the uncushioned section that the arm rest leaves. Otherwise, this is a solid theater to visit. A few minor things that can be tweaked, but I know that the location can't control it all. read more

The theater is definitely older and could use a face lift. The seats are worn and some of them are torn. They're still comfortable but three of the five seats we had were ripped and missing chunks of material. Everything was clean though and the screen quality was perfectly fine. Also if you are not a premier member and are planning to hit the concession stand before your movie starts, make sure to give yourself plenty of time. They will take every last premier member before serving regular customers, even if you were standing in line well before the last person in the premier line, they will continue to take them and ignore everyone else. I'm not sure if this is something they're supposed to do, but I've been at other AMC theaters that still take non-premier members mixed in with the premier ones. read more

Thanks to MoviePass, I'm now attending movies on a near-weekly basis, and I look forward to it. Since I spend so much time seeing movies these days, finding the perfect theater is very important. AMC Showplace Traders Point 12 (what a mouthful!) is probably the most wonderful movie theater on the Northwest Side, although there aren't many others. AMC is the Wal-Mart of cinemas, and most people know what to expect from it. This particular theater has, you guessed it...12 screens. On those screens, one will find most of the popular films that are currently running. Don't expect to find the artsy films here: AMC appeals to the masses. While watching your chosen flick, you'll be able to fully recline. Really, the seats at this theater are super-de-duper. They're half the reason I'm there so often. Like I said, half the reason I go to AMC Trader's Point is for the recling chairs; the other half is because they have Coca-Cola Freestyle soda machines. The prices are naturally outrageous, but why wouldn't they be? There are people like me who are dumb enough to pay over $7.00 for a soda. If one desires to spend even more money, he or she can go to "MacGuffins Bar and Lounge" for a truly overpriced drink. I've actually seen people there...hanging out. Bizarre. Obviously, I have one gripe about the place. The concession lines are completely pell-mell. They make no sense to customers or to the teenage employees.
