Amazing, amazing, AMAZING dining experience!!!!! Small, quaint and elegant nestled in the most surprising location. The food was beautifully presented and the flavors were out of this world and our server, James, only added to the experience. His recommendations were spot on. I'm STILL thinking about the marscapone-lime risotto and the ferro w beets. And, don't get me started on the wine selection. Loved this experience.

Good Omen is a great place to celebrate special occasions with your favorite people. We did just that -- celebrated our daughter's 29th birthday -- and it was wonderful! I wish I had more pictures to share, but I was more focused on the celebration itself. Everything I tried was truly delicious. The birthday girl had the vegan Puttanesca and she loved it. Another daughter enjoyed the Risotto with Grilled Lion's Mane (also vegan). Hubby and I shared the Creste Di Gallo pasta dish and I would highly recommend it. We also shared a starter salad, and while I don't recall the name, it was delightful. We also shared a bottle of Chianti for the table which was lovely. We will definitely return!

Followed the server's recommendation to split the dishes, and not only was the end bill a fair price but we left happy and satisfied. We chose to split the pasta special and the Caprese; both were flavorful. Had a wonderful and reasonably priced of Pinot blanc to go with our dinner. Couldn't pass up the ricotta cake, which was delicious. All this, for under $100.

Some of the previous reviews, I just don't get it. I knew the space was small because I had been in it before with the previous businesses. Someone stated that the tables were on top of each other, not true. I didn't go to the bathroom to see if the tissue box had a cover on it, but everything else looked great. We are not drinking so we didn't get to enjoy any of the many wines they had, but we were able to get a couple of Non Alcoholic drinks that they offer. This was the first meal in a long time that we were happy with, from beginning to end. Started with the Kale salad. Unlike any Kale salad I've had before and it was delicious. The Brown butter vinaigrette was fabulous. Next I had the Butternut Squash ravioli which was cooked perfectly. Shrimp risotto was on special so my husband decided to try it. So yummy. Shrimp had a nice light char and risotto also cooked perfectly. For dessert we enjoyed the Gelato with house made toffee sauce and candied hazelnuts. Deeeeeeelicious! Great place Good Omen!! Thanks James for the knowledge and great service. Everything was fantastic, we'll definitely be back to try more.

I gave good omen 5 stars because 6 isn't an option. The team was wonderful. James was a great server and his suggestions for the evening were spot on. We love all of our local restaurants here in Zionsville and our community has a wealth of excellent places to eat. Good Omen fills a space we haven't had until it's opening. The food preparation is truly an art form and the approach to the menu is on par with the quality of some of the best restaurants I've been to. We had the wagyu tomahawk and gnocchi off the winter menu. You should do the same if you stop in this winter.

Okay, wow! This is some amazing, incredible, and tasty Italian food! My expectations were low, but holy cow. I am so impressed! The appetizers were unreal, the entrees were out of this world, and the wine was spectacular. The service was top notch, the recommended the Chianti, which was perfect. I also cannot recommend the squid ink pasta enough. It literally changed me! It's way better than every other Italian joint within 100 miles!!! This is a must see spot!

Scallops were some of the best, if not the best I've had in the Indy area

Does it take reservations? It looks like it doesn't. Want to make sure I'm not missing it.

Walk Ins only-we went on a Saturday night and had no problem getting seated at 7:30.

I paused to look at their outdoor menu they had set up and checked out their desserts. Lo and behold they had chocolate mousse, my husband's fave! Since it also happened to be his birthday, we made a plan to come back after our dinner reservation at another restaurant. We stuck to that plan at around 8 PM, before they're closing at 9 PM. We walked in to a charming, lovely and cozy atmosphere. It had just rained so the ambience was perfect. We sat down right away and was greeted by Justin, who was outstanding as our server. My husband ordered the chocolate mousse, and I took a chance on the Pavlova, which I had seen many times before on the great British bake off. I had always wanted to try it. We also ordered decaf French press, coffee, and it was also delicious. The desserts both came with Chantilly cream made in house and it was impeccable. We. We both loved our desserts. The Pavlova was a light meringue with lemon curd inside garnished with fresh berries. I was worried that it would be sweet too sweet, but it was not. The chocolate mousse was thick and chocolatey and the ratio of Chantilly cream was perfect. Now that we've come here for breakfast and dessert, we must come back for dinner. Again, Justin, our server was just lovely and personable and made the evening even more memorable.

That's the perfect description for this gem. The wait staff are excellent and the bar does not disappoint! Happy hour runs 3-6pm and I stopped in for a drink and a bite. The rotating cocktail menu featured a "Gin on the Barb." Local gin mixed with a rhubarb liqueur and mint was a tasty yet dangerous beverage for an 83 degree day. If you have a chance to try the Oeufs Mimosa (deviled eggs) do not miss the opportunity though the charcuterie is an experience as well. For dinner I suggest trying the beef bourguignon. It will change your life. It's not necessarily simple but it done very very well.

He took time to explain the menu and was extremely helpful when it came to helping us decide on what to get. Everything sounded fantastic especially the starters. I didn't get a cocktail but I did get a lovely cup of hot peach tea that was very delightful. My friend's cocktail was beautiful. We did get a sample of one of the sparkling wines which was very nice. Mt friends ordered several items and I tried most of them. The carrots were my favorite. I ordered the tots and caviar as my main meal. This is definitely the upscale, adult version of tots. The potatoes were very crispy and I was shocked by the amount of caviar for the price. All the food was beautifully presented. And everything came out hot. Meaning temperature hot. You could tell everything was cooked fresh. Overall, it was a great culinary experience. Our server, Justin, was attentive and helpful throughout the evening. My partner asked for wine pairing recommendations, and Justin suggested a Pinot Noir that paired well with the meal. I ordered the Lemon Drop Cocktail, which was refreshing and enjoyable. The food was excellent. I ordered the Steak Frites, and my partner ordered the Duck A L'Orange. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the duck breast was tender and flavorful. We also shared the lavender and wild berry cheesecake for dessert. It was a unique offering--the flavors were interesting, although it wasn't my personal favorite. My partner, however, enjoyed it quite a bit. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and elegant. My only complaint was the temperature inside the dining room. We dined indoors on a Saturday evening in mid-July when it was around 90 degrees outside, and the restaurant felt unusually warm and stuffy. I suspect there may have been an issue with the HVAC system, as there seemed to be very little air circulation. My partner was sweating throughout dinner. I'm usually someone who gets cold easily at restaurants and often brings a cardigan, so the fact that I found the temperature uncomfortable was surprising. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and would happily return, assuming the HVAC issue has been resolved.
