The food was actually pretty good. Service is good as well! Got the Nashville Hot, the heat level was Actually 4 for the genre! It's chicken thigh instead of breast. Which is goood

I want to start by saying the servers were excellent and really great. They were the only reason for giving any stars. Outside of that, everything else was trash, especially the nachos. The most bland tasting meat I've ever had in my life. Literally no flavor in these nachos until you get to the liquid cheese at the bottom of the plate making the tortilla chips soggy while you make your way to the bottom. I had to let the people know the nachos are garbage.

They have fantastic food and drinks! I tried the burger and it was a well-made, well-priced burger. Nothing fancy but i left full! Their drinks are great too. A ton of options and I've never had anything less than great service

So excited to have a pub in Whitestown again! Anyone remember DJ's??? Came here late on a Sunday night with my wife for a drink and some snacks. Like another Yelper, we thought the place was closed because of the blackout windows. I drove by again (since we checked hours) and Holly could see a TV on in the background - so we went in! First - the place smelled clean and everything is pretty much new, including plenty of TVs to watch a bit of Sunday Night Football. They have a decent liquor selection and some nice beers on tap, including from Metazoa. The bartender/server was great! Super quick, responsive, and friendly. Granted, only a couple other patrons at 9 o'clock on a Sunday. We ordered scotch eggs and some chips (fries). Holly got a vodka and I had the IPA from Metazoa. Beer was ice cold and delicious! After the IPA, I tried a milkshake stout from Rochester Mills (MI). Ordered the peanut butter cup - it was very good. I could only drink one, but they are having the 12 stouts of Christmas, so I might have to come back Food - probably a 3/5. I was expecting scotch eggs like Macnivens and the sausage batter around the egg just wasn't enough; needs to be 1/4 inch thick and this was like 1/16th. Chips tasted twice fried, which I like, but Holly "likes to taste the potato", so had to mark them down. May need to come here earlier and get a sandwich or a burger. The place had several more people filter after us since nothing else is open late in the area. I really hope this place does well, so we get to keep a pub in Whitestown. If you are looking for beer and sports - it's a 5/5! Hopefully the food will get better so I can kick the review up 1!

However, each of the items we ordered had excellent flavor. I would come back again purely for the fries and beer. Might need to scout the table options in order to identify where we would prefer to be seated for a more comfortable dining experience.

There are a couple televisions, about a dozen tables and a large bar. Like most bars in Indiana, race memorabilia adorns the walls along with sports decor. They are proud of their new larger outdoor patio, which hosts a number of special events. The dining room was uncomfortably cold today during lunch. I had to keep my coat on during the entire meal. The Hoosier Tenderloin sandwich is large and delicious. The pork is moist and tender and the breading is nicely seasoned with lots of flavor. The French fries are hand-cut. They offer a weekly special plate, drink and beer. They also serve breakfast from 8 - 11 am.

Since we'll be living in Zionsville for a while, we've been searching for our new go-to restaurants. Today we tried Salty Cowboy for the first time, and overall, we were impressed. We ordered the chips and salsa, tacos, and margaritas, and everything was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. This could have been a 5-star review , but the chips tasted a bit stale and the salsa was somewhat bland and could have used a little more spunk. Aside from that, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend checking out Salty Cowboy if you're looking for good Mexican food in the area.

Apparently chips and salsa are no longer free. I had the short rib taco which was full of meat and quite tasty. The pickled onions on it though weren't really very pickled. They were okay but not great. I also had the mahi mahi taco and it was great and I loved the pineapple salsa.I opted for grilled shrimp but you could get them fried if you want. The big disappointment was the pollo con arroz that my husband ordered. It was luke warm. The waitress said no problem and she could get him a new dish quickly. She came back with that she claimed was a whole new dish in less than 5 minutes! I am sorry you can't make a whole new dish in 5 minutes. The rice was steaming hot. The chicken looked like chunks of boiled white chicken that had a cold crema under them so chicken was not hot. Not a lot of flavor. Very disappointing. Service was excellent.

Our server was pretty great, and up front about wait times. We went when the kitchen has a crew shortage, so there was a wait for food. For appetizers: nachos were great, but if you ordered a simple nacho, it's meh, we had to add several things and added $$ to make it REAL nachos. The dip for the pork rinds was good. The table ordered truffle fries, they finished it. It was our first time trying Upland beers. Most of the options are IPA and tart beers. None of which I like. The mixed drinks menu was meh, they offer 2 hard ciders, but one was unavailable. Our server let us try samples and she was very patient. For main dishes: I ordered a Salmon BLT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I didn't eat it with the bun, salmons was very thin, 1 piece of bacon, slice of tomato and 1 piece of lettuce. We had mac and cheese, DO NOT ORDER, it was floating in fat and there's no taste to it. Fish and chips was okay. The pizza was the highlight, it saved the night, I think. Bathrooms clearly labeled, easily seen, and clean. For 6 people, 2 of whom did not have alcoholic drinks (just water), our bill with tip was over $350. I would not come back here again, I had a better time and better food at other breweries.
