When traveling it's always nice to fine a delicious tasting place to stop that's clean and friendly. They had vegan options. They also have outside eating too. I like to find healthy places to eat and Mediterranean food is at top of my list. If only I could find someone to take me to some Mediterranean counties for an eating tour, what a delicious friendship that would make.

#1 combo. It comes with a drink. Delicious!

I was actually going to pop in Checkers for a quick fish sandwich and fries, but saw Ameer's signage and pulled around. I was met promptly by a smiling cashier and then Ameer came to the counter. I ordered the combo #1 with all beef and sat down. In just a few short minutes I was served the beautiful food you see in the picture. Everything was fresh, the meat was tender and cooked perfectly. The pita bread was nice and hot. Moving on the the falafel, it is the best I've ever eaten. Most falafel is dense and tasteless. This was moist and you could taste all the herbs and seasoning. The hummus was not gritty one bit. It was incredibly smooth. The fresh vegetables made a nice accoutrement to this meal. If you are visiting or driving through Calhoun, this is a must eat restaurant! The place is extremely clean, nice employees, and Owner. The food steals the show here. Highly recommend.

love the food, been a fan and will continue to be so but if your out of packaging options, please just say, " No soup for you". lentil soup in a salad container?

Repurposed place in Calhoun, nicely redone interior and large outdoor seating area. Friendly staff that could quickly answer questions about the food for my friend. Grabbed the falafel sandwich and a drink. Falafel was tasty, sauce was above average, but the bread was just ok. Fries were a bit greasy. Overall good food, a little pricey for this market but I will probably go back.

Ameer's is a delightful surprise in this area. We were traveling passing through and did not want the same old fast food unhealthy choices. As soon as we saw his Mediterranean menu we had to try it. The food was right on! We had the mixed grill and beet salad. True to its roots but adjusted a little for American taste. For example the Kofta kebab was not as spicy as I am used to. I would know as I am from the area of origin. The service was pleasant and delightful. The owner came to greet us and it is pleasant talking to him. It is a perfect stop off of exit 312 on I-75. Well done Ameer.

Rebecca was very helpful and caring. She met us at the door and told us that they were closed but I told her that we spoke to the owner Sami thru yelp msgs and he said that they were open until 10, it was only 9:23 pm. She told me that they had 2 locations and that the other location closed at 10 but this one closed at 9. She immediately apologized for the misunderstanding and offered us a few things that were still available. Zyad was in the back and prepared our order and came out to speak with us also. They were very appreciative of our business and we thanked them for taking care of us even after they closed. We had the lamb shank and it came with salad, bread and veggies. We also got some falafel with baba ganoush. It was all fresh and tasted excellent! The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly, the salad was fresh and crisp. Everything turned out great and thanks to Rebecca, she saved the evening for us! Looking forward to coming back someday when I am in the area.

Ameer's Mediterranean Grill is so delicious! The restaurant is conveniently located right off of Interstate I-75! The restaurant has a large outdoor dining area and lots of room and tables inside! Restaurant staff is very friendly and helpful! The interior is nice and very clean! The food is amazing! We started with Falafel, Hummus, Baba Ganoush and Pita and it was so delicious! The combo meals are an excellent choice! Combos include Arabic rice, two falafel, hummus, Lebanese salad, pita and a fountain drink! Combo #1 and #2 are our favorite! Love the lamb, the chicken shawarma and chicken kabob! The Lebanese Salad is magnificent, it's so full of fresh flavor!

The Jerusalem cheesesteaks from the cafe were delicious but not your typical Philly cheesesteak. It was in a wrap and had a curry flavor to it. It was delicious. Never had convenience and quality come together so beautifully. The food, the service, the ambiance are all fantastic. I was torn between shawarma and lamb shank - the staff recommended the lamb shank, which I'm happy about. It was fall off the bone tender. They could have gone heavier on the spices but they give you sauce (tahini and garlic mayo-ish). The bread was amazing too... fresh, fluffy and warm. The food came out super quick. There's plenty of seating - it's a large space with many booths and tables. The decor is lovely. I wish they were playing some Arabic music to round off the experience. There's ample parking in the lot. If you're wondering if the restaurant is Palestinian - it is. I asked the staff lol. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu before I leave Marietta.

Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and wrapped in warm, fresh tortillas. No dryness, no shortcuts, just clean flavor that lets the grill speak for itself. You can tell the chicken wasn't rushed or drowned in sauce to hide mistakes. Now let's talk about the Adana mix grill. This is the kind of plate that makes the table go silent for a minute. Everything was cooked with intention. Smoky, tender, well-spiced meats that tasted like they came straight off an open flame, not a reheated pan. Portions were generous without being sloppy, and every bite held its own. The service was warm, attentive, and unpretentious. Staff actually checked in without hovering, knew the menu, and made solid recommendations. That alone puts Adana ahead of a lot of places. The ambiance ties it all together. Cozy but upscale, relaxed without feeling casual. Great lighting, clean space, and a vibe that works whether you're on a date, with family, or just treating yourself to a good meal. Adana isn't trying to be trendy. It's just focused on doing good food, good service, and good atmosphere consistently. And honestly, that's rare these days. Definitely a repeat visit.
