I'd heard great things about their pastries (and the food in general), so I finally decided to stop by and try a few GF treats. I went on a Sunday morning and picked up a rice krispy treat, a salted chocolate chip cookie, and a blueberry bar to share. The girl helping was super kind and sweet, which made for a great first impression. The blueberry bar was a bit of a letdown since it didn't have much flavor, but we enjoyed the other two items. I would love to come back to try out some food!
I honestly love this place and what they stand for! Clean eats that are tasty! However, the price tag is very steep. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was $18 without a side with the fruit it was about $25. I get that it's a sit down restaurant but wow that's quite a bit for something so small and not filling. They do have a grab and go section if that's more up your ally and I've never gotten anything from there that I don't like! My favorite is the cherry chicken salad- I never thought that those flavors would go good together but the sweet and slightly tart pairs so well! The coffee flavors are a little weird like rosemary so I normally grab coffee elsewhere. Service is always on point as you can order to-go or sit down. The restaurant is slightly on the smaller side but they have outdoor space available!
Met a friend here for lunch today and really liked the open air, light color, comfortable decor and vibe. Our server was okay letting us just sit and talk for a while before we ordered. Then, once we did our food was served quickly. I ordered the Hot Ham + Cheese sandwich and French fries, and my dining companion ordered the BLT with fries. The food we freshly prepared and portions plentiful.
Visited Amelia's by EAT while in Scottsdale. The atmosphere was lively and buzzing, and the service was friendly and accommodating. We showed up around 1:30 p.m., knowing they close at 3, and were happily seated on the back patio -- what a great spot. Inside was packed, but out there it felt like a completely different world, relaxed and enjoyable. I tend to go light for lunch and got lucky with their smaller appetite menu, ordering the bacon cheeseburger with fries -- very good. We also had the garden veggie egg white bites, which paired nicely with lunch. I tried the Yuzu Drop cocktail, and it was refreshing and tasty. Overall, a great vibe, solid food and drinks, and a patio that really makes the experience -- definitely worth a return visit. Saluti.
My mom and I visited here as we heard about it in a healthy lifestyle podcast. Our service was very good and our waitress was attentive and helpful. For a weeknight the restaurant was packed! Our food was excellent! My mom loved her short rib and my burger was very tasty as well! I think her thicker fries were better than my skinny ones. We bought a peanut butter chocolate brittle to take home from their fridge and it was absolutely to die for. We loved our food and would definitely recommend! I hope to be back soon!

I wanted to update because this place has become a go-to for me. I've never once had anything I don't care for. I'm a creature of habit and this became an easy place for me to sit and work, and the staff are always kind and accommodating. The place itself remains clean, and beautiful, with a great grab-and-go fridge, and all the food is truly delicious. You can come alone or with friends and you'll always be welcomed!
TLDR: Amelia's made it easier to get over the hump of a humpday (Wednesday) thanks to great service and delicious, seed-oil free, nitrate free food! My buddy is a regular here so much so that it seemed like an episode of 1980's TV show Cheers ... without the beer. A friendly, warm inviting vibe had us greeted by three separate people making sure that we were comfortable. We saddled up to the bar and he had his usually BYOB (build your own breakfast) so I decided to do the same. I got the following: A blueberry pancake that was light and fluffy, with fresh blueberries. A couple of fried eggs Nitrate free bacon that was neither too crisp, nor soggy. Some avocado to round it out. And since it was a chilly Scottsdale morning I enjoyed a wonderful, rich hot chocolate. Service was quick Food was tasty. Menu was simple but had variety so that one could come multiple times and not get bored. If I were a local, I'd add this to one of my neighborhood favorites list!

How am I just finding out about this spot?! I love love it here and am already planning to go back for the second time this week because I enjoyed everything so much!!! The egg salad toast was so delicious and the honey lemon iced latte was one of the best coffees I've ever had. The service was quick and friendly and you can really tell everything here is made with great quality ingredients. I love how this is a market and a restaurant. I wish there were more places like this but I'm just happy I found this one!! There is plenty of seating inside and out and a warm welcoming vibe. 10/10 experience!
Yummy place! A coworker found this spot and had been wanting to try it out, so we finally went and I'm glad we did. The area is super cute with tons of restaurants around, and there's plenty of parking, though don't expect anything close during lunchtime. We ended up parking on top of their additional structure and walked over, but it wasn't a bad trek at all. I was a little surprised when we walked in and realized you order up front instead of being seated and served. I'm just not used to restaurants set up that way, but honestly it made deciding what to eat a lot quicker (no awkward "hold on, we're still deciding!" moments). I ordered their hot ham and cheese with fries, which they even give you a choice between skinny or steak fries, which I loved. My coworker got their rotisserie chicken bánh mì. Both meals were delicious! The restaurant looks like it came straight out of a magazine, and the service was quick and friendly.

Nothing stood out to me, but I figured it was cause I just ate breakfast and wasn't "hungry in the moment" but figured I'd feel different once I got there. We enter and they have paper menus printed and out front for you to look over. I loved this, I hate when there's just one massive menu to look at, I'm always squinting or motioning other customers to go before me while awkwardly standing off to the side. We went up to the counter to order our food, in which I didn't tip, because why am I tipping for a service not provided? Places are ridiculous with this lately. $18 for a side of fries and a root beer float, btw. Insane pricing. They told us to find table 35 outside, as that was our table and they deliver the food when ready. My fries looked AMAZING but the taste was just not there. I was so excited to try tallow fries, as well. I'm not sure if I'm just used to seed oil, greasy fatty fries, or if it was something off with the ranch and ketchup, but everything tasted WEIRD. My friend loved the ranch but it was so bland to me. The ketchup was genuinely lacking, as it tasted like a crushed up tomato, no seasonings or anything. Root Beer floats are impossible to mess up, so that was good. My friend got the Caesar salad (she is gonna leave a review so look for hers) and a good percentage of her lettuce was CORE PIECES! So it was like bitter and hard to chew through. I will never eat here again. While I'm impressed, everything seems to be sourced organically and healthy or made in store, it just was not good enough to justify the price. We saw little rotisserie chickens being made in their rotating oven, which was cool, but I just wasn't "WOW"ed with my food.
Pretty much obsessed with this spot at this point. Have been here 4-5 times now every time it's great. Food is amazing, atmosphere is great and the service is top notch. Best place in the Mercado at McCormick ranch and that's saying something... like it more then grassroots and I love grassroots. Highly recommend!

Came here with a friend for her birthday dinner, her choice to come here. Was greeted right away from the hostess and got seated quickly. My friend liked this place because it had many items that are gluten free. We both got the spare rib and fries which was amazing. There are 2 patios, one in front and one in back, it will be nice to come here when the weather is cooler and sit on the patio. Just finding out my mom has celiac, this is a place I will come back to with her when she visits. read more

We came across this place after originally planning to go to Butter's nearby, but the wait there was too long and we were on a time crunch, so we decided to stop at Amelia's instead. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff with a warm hello. We grabbed seats at the bar and were immediately welcomed, offered menus, and asked what we wanted to drink. We both got skinny margaritas, and they were really good. You could actually taste the tequila and fresh ingredients rather than an overly sweet margarita mix. We both ordered the Breakfast Burrito for $14, which comes with housemade chicken sausage, roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, green chilis, mozzarella, cheddar, and fire-roasted tomato salsa. We also got ketchup on the side. The burrito was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff explained that they focus on fresh, locally sourced, high-quality ingredients, and you could definitely taste the quality. The ambiance was great too. I loved the wood details throughout the restaurant, everything looked clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. My only disappointment is that there isn't an Amelia's closer to me because I would absolutely visit often. I hope they're able to maintain the quality and local feel because the food, ingredients, service, and atmosphere really stood out. Definitely looking forward to coming back! read more

Amelia's by EAT is hands down one of the best places I've eaten. I ordered the Better Burger lettuce wrapped with skinny fries cooked in beef tallow, a gluten-free Rice Krispie treat, and a maple latte, and every single thing was incredible. The flavors were amazing, and you can truly tell they care about the quality of their food. The atmosphere was also the cutest! It was warm, inviting, and such a fun place to sit and enjoy a meal. As someone who is gluten-free, it can be hard to find restaurants where I feel confident eating, but Amelia's had so many delicious options and the staff was so knowledgeable and accommodating. One of my favorite things about Amelia's is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients. They're seed oil-free, their fries are cooked in beef tallow, and I left feeling so good after my meal knowing exactly what I was putting into my body. It's so refreshing to find a restaurant that makes healthy, intentional food without sacrificing flavor. Amelia's absolutely exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to come back! read more

My second visit here, just as great as the first. Came in around 8pm with my girlfriend after doing some shopping and we were starved! Our server, who's name I unfortunately didn't catch, was amazing and attentive of all our requests and needs. Seriously, one of the best servers we've ever encountered. It goes unsaid that the food was amazing, but I want to focus on the environment. Coming at night was such a change in ambiance, I love that they have dim lights. It's so much more comfortable when lighting is natural. We observed a few tables leave during our time and it was apparent that care is put into their resetting routine. Tables wiped thoroughly, silverware placed a specific way and a cute cactus in the middle. Everything clicks together well here. As for the food, we ordered a few new things. Our cocktails were Desert Sunset (left) and Perfect 10. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of my drink but that isn't on them (I was attempting to step out of my comfort zone). Our appetizer, which I didn't get a picture of, were their pretzels. DELICIOUS, by the way. Better than any pretzel I've ever had, and it tastes even better knowing there's no seed oils. We asked to try it with all 3 options of sauce (caramel, lemon herb cream cheese and horseradish mustard) wow... I'm speechless. That horseradish mustard was so good, I asked for extra to dip my fries in. My girlfriend and I both got the burgers with quinoa patties and loved the texture and creativity behind them. It's great to be accommodated to when it comes to not eating meat. I'm not sure if I mentioned last time, but their water is filtered and I adore that. I got a root beer float for dessert, and again, it was amazing. Thank you to our server who made our night even more special, to the cooks who made our food, the prep who prepared the ingredients, and anyone else who contributed to this restaurant. This is a "don't forget to wear your matching lululemon sports fit" eatery. I brought my sister here for a birthday breakfast, and it was pretty mid. They have a "Build Your Own Breakfast" plate, but apparently you can't add something as simple as breakfast potatoes. It's very "european portions", so if you're bringing your grandma who eats once a day, this is the spot for you. We also had iced lattes from the coffee bar, and it needed a total descale. Super bitter and sour tasting. You could tell right away from the look alone. The ambience is calm and relaxing . The host was very kind. But the food, the drinks -- the main reason we came -- could've been way better. read more

Found this place by accident but left super satisfied and surprised. Honestly such a great lunch spot, especially if you're looking for something new to add to your rotation. It's can be a casual spot or dressed up. You can order at the counter or through a QR code at your table. They take pride in being scratch made, locally sourced, and seed oil free, so if you are health conscious or have allergies this could be a great place for you. I had a rotisserie chicken bánh mì and it was pretty good. Obviously a classic with a twist. I would've preferred a bit more of a vinegar element but the touch of barbecue was tasty. My friend ordered the tri-tip with fries and I honestly think that really stood out and was an amazing sandwich. Super moist and tender and it comes with steak fries that are fried in beef tallow, and it adds such a depth of flavor I've never known before. For the tomato soup and grilled cheese, we were all surprised that the tomato soup was as good as it was for being a dairy free. I think it still has plenty of flavor and you're not sacrificing anything but also kind of guilt free. All in all this place is great. Definitely happy. We stumbled across it and interested to go for dinner and drinks as they have an extensive wine list and some creative cocktails. They specialize in board like dishes, so I'm interested to see what that's about as well. Definitely think it's worth a try. read more
This place has recently become one of my favorite spots. Whether you're stopping in for brunch or hosting an event, the experience is always amazing. I love that they offer à la carte options, so you can try different items if you're just in the mood for a light bite. I became completely obsessed with the egg salad toast. It's the perfect mix of sweet and savory. I never would have thought of that combination, but now I find myself trying to recreate it at home because it's just that good. David was my server and he was incredibly kind and attentive. The entire staff is helpful, humble, and truly compassionate. I made plans to meet up with a couple friends for dinner post work and thought this place looked so cool! When we arrived, there weren't any tables available so we sat at the bar for drinks while we waited for a table and our other friend to arrive. I got the Clean Co. Mocktail and my friend got the Cloud 9. The mocktail was alright, but my friend's drink was good! Once we were sat at a table, we were ready to order some food. I got the wild salmon slider (subbed with a gluten free brioche bun), the lemon garlic broccolini, and the steak fries. The salmon slider was pretty good as well as the fries. Unfortunately though, the broccolini was cold. Not even slightly warm, just cold. It made me wonder if maybe it was supposed to be served that way but then my friend said her carrots were also cold. They were also not very soft and unfortunately just underwhelming. My friend also got the pan seared wild salmon which she said was fine but pretty dry. My other friend got the Amelia's Better Burger + Beef Tallow Skinny Fries which he said were both good. We finished dinner with the flourless chocolate cake ice cream sundae. This was pretty good although it was 3/4 ice cream with just a little bit of cake. What little cake there was, was good, but for $14, the proportions were definitely not worth it. Honestly, since a few of the items that we ordered were pretty underwhelming, we aren't DYING to come back too soon but I definitely do want to give Amelia's another shot because of their menu, catering to gluten free diets, and that they are "organic, scratch made, locally sourced, and seed oil free". Other notes: the hostess, bartender, and waitress were all very friendly and attentive! read more

We have been waiting for a seed oil free, organic restaurant in the valley and this is the best one yet! They have an amazing happy hour and a wide variety items on the full menu. We love every dish we got and we're very excited to try the tallow fries. They have indoor, outdoor and bar area seating. They also have a grab and go market where you can come and grab breakfast, lunch or dinner items for on the go. We need more restaurants like this, we will be back soon! read more

I can't believe it has taken me this long to try Amelia's. I went with my mom for brunch and we both got the breakfast sandwich which was by far the best sandwich I've ever had. The bacon was perfectly cooked, the bun was light and airy, and the sauce is amazing. We went back for dinner a few nights later and were wildly impressed by the wine selection, and the food. The enchiladas are the best I've ever had. Portions are amazing (don't leave feeling overly full), the ambiance is welcoming and cool, and the food is too tier. This is my new favorite spot in Arizona! read more
First time with a girlfriend for Saturday Brunch!! The service was great- seated immediately and had a lovely spot. Lived the clean contemporary vibe of the place!! Food was nicely presented, had fresh ingredients and tasted delicious!! All good things!! I had a chicken salad that had lots of veggies and deviled eggs! My pal had a tuna sandwich that looked amazing and a cup of tomato soup that looked homemade!! She raved about the soup!!
