Very pleasant dining experience. It's just off the lobby of the Caesars Republic hotel. The bar area was full and lively the night I was there, but the main dining area is around a corner and a little removed from the lounge hubbub. The lobster arancini were tasty (especially the sauce) but one of them had no lobster while another had a huge chunk, so I guess it balanced out in totality. The scallops needed a slightly harder sear, but the pea risotto underneath was A+. The service was helpful and pleasant, and the meal was very well-paced. I would definitely go back. It's easy and free to park in the deck just across the street if you don't want to valet.
A very special evening out last night at Luna by Giada. Among us we had the pesto pizza, lemon spaghetti, and lobster tortellini. All were exquisite. What made it extra special for me was that 22 years ago I had open heart surgery and what helped me get through my recovery and rehabilitation was Giada's cooking shows!
We came here for our anniversary dinner and it was phenomenal! From the mocktails to the appetizers, entrees, and desserts -- everything was absolutely amazing. The service was just as great. Our servers, the service team, and the manager were all incredibly attentive and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We ended up ordering way too much food because everything looked so good, but it was totally worth it. As vegetarians, we were really happy to see so many veg options on the menu, and they were very accommodating as well. The lemon spaghetti was honestly one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had -- so fresh and unique, nothing like I've had before. We also tried the cacio e pepe ravioli, which was fantastic, and the pasta alla vodka, which was good (a bit more classic), but still delicious. The appetizers, desserts, and drinks were all outstanding. I would come back for the lemon spaghetti, ravioli, apps, and desserts 100 times over. Such a great spot for a special occasion -- we'll definitely be back!
This experience was incredible. Our server Dara made the best recommendations and hooked us up with the best food and drinks! Even my friends baby had a great time and didn't make a sound Dara even walked us up to wolf to grab a night cap. Love it here! Will be back
The perfect spot for our New Year's Eve dinner in Scottsdale. We kicked things off with oysters and champagne, bright, briny, and exactly the right way to start the evening. The mains were outstanding. The branzino was the star of the table, with a citrus pairing that was fresh, vibrant, and unforgettable. The salmon was equally well executed, and the shared sides of brussels sprouts and asparagus were the perfect complement. Bonus points for the comically oversized pepper grinder, a fun little touch that made the experience even better. Exceptional service, beautifully prepared dishes, and a fantastic wine selection ranging from high-end labels to very approachable options. A flawless meal and a memorable way to ring in the new year. On my list to visit again soon.

Parking is limited and you either need to valet or park in the mall parking lot, less you can grab a spot in the small parking lot. Walk through the hotel lobby and the restaurant is to the left. Very nice and simple ambiance and decor. They had indoor and patio seating. The food overall was amazing. The lemon pasta was yummy and we had the focaccia bread. We made it through dessert and the chocolate soufflé was delicious.

You could tell they actually wanted to be there which made the experience even better. Now the food options available were killer. Salad in a cheese wheel along with pasta was the highlight, especially the freshly made ricotta. White lemon pizza melted in your mouth and lemon was a perfect hint of citrus. I also enjoyed the dessert bites as well. Kendall (waitress) and Elisa (helper) deserve a shout out because they were so kind and just on top of everything! Can't wait to go back and sit in Kendall's section :)
Experiencing an exclusive meet and greet dinner. Tickets were priced out at 295$ per person. This was a gift for my birthday. Let me just say well worth the ticket price and experience. Attentive service, food stations were unlimited (giving me high end luxury buffet vibe) I was star struck when giada served me pasta been a fan since the 90's. The ambiance is classy and upscale. Making for a great special occasion experience. The food was outstanding! I can't complain about one thing. Would I do this experience again. Absolutely! Beats a flight to Vegas when you have all this in beautiful AZ.
Wonderful first experience at Luna by Giada! Loved our server, Melanie, for making us feel so welcome! Started off strong with the focaccia--each of us had a favorite dipping sauce (mine: olive oil). Great Caesar salad, but the caprese was extra special with the balsamic "pearls." We enjoyed lemon spaghetti, bucatini, scallops, pizza, and the highlight was the hot chocolate soufflé. Stopped in for an early dinner and it was my first time in and I am a fan. The overall look and vibe is amazing. The hostess promptly greeted me and I was allowed to sit without my party being there. My awesome waitress, Kendall was TOP TIER! She was personable and also knew the dishes very well KUDOS to Luna for the awesome hire. I ordered the Bucatini and it was a solid 3 out of 5 I think the spicy sausage add on made it too salty. The focaccia bread was 5/5 and the tiramisu was delish. Thank you to Paul the manager for being amazing as well for the intro to the chef(s). Cant wait to return!!
Their Signature Lemon Spaghetti was really good. I was a bit hesitant to order it since we make a lot of pasta at home but the spaghetti was cooked al dente and the sauce was super lemony. Definitely ask for a lot of fresh cracked black pepper! It complements the lemon flavor so well. Our waitress recommended adding on the for lobster was an extra $60 but it was actually $65 when we got our check. We were celebrating our anniversary so we decided to splurge but it wasn't worth honestly. I was so looking forward to getting the Chocolate Hazelnut Soufflé for dessert but they didn't have it available. They did have a seasonal Limoncello Soufflé but it was a bit heavy on the egg flavor. Pretty disappointed with the dessert.
Coming into the restaurant it was very elegant. The decor, lighting and furniture. The service was very nice and pleasant however the way the waitress was dress i felt did not suit the restaurant. She was very exposed. Next the music. They were playing pop rap. Which also did not suit. It was also very loud which is not what I expect coming to a nice restaurant. I personally ordered the crab arancini, scallops risotto and then lemon souffle. The crab arancini was delicious. The risotto was salty. Finally the souffle was the worst of all. Very eggy and offputting and honestly didn't taste of anything There were 7 of us that went. Everyone ordered an entree and half ordered desserts and half ordered appetizers. No drinks but bottled water. The bill was $592 before tip. This is so overpriced. If I wanted to pay that price point I rather a place like cafe monarch. Where the ambiance matches that price. If I wanted nice Italian food I rather go to north italia. All in all very disappointing
Tough review to give, because the experience was split right down the middle. There were definitely some highs and lows and in the end, the misses made it a "could've been better" review. Would I return... "yes", as I was telling some friends but I'd be very specific with my reservation and ordering. Made a reservation for 2 as part of my birthday celebration weekend. We arrived on time, but they were running behind. We were told to head upstairs to the SEVEN Bar for a cocktail and would be notified when our table was ready. This was one of the lows... We got to SEVEN and let the host know. Honestly, it felt like I was being ignored at the bar while trying to order just two cocktails. The vibe itself was good & I gave a shout out to the band groovin, but the service was disappointing. I was overlooked, plain and simple. By the time the drinks finally came, my phone went off and it was time to head back downstairs. Let me say, not the best suggestion for a wait. We were seated across from the kitchen at a table off the main walkway, not ideal as I had to deal with all the foot traffic and a view of the oven in the kitchen. Our server was okay. Not bad, but the vibe was off... kind of like "I'm here, but not really here." That was the energy both of us picked up on and we kept going back to it with the level of service. We started with the Focaccia, based on the server's recommendation. It came with 3 flavor sauces, basil pesto, olive oil with balsamic, and a lemon mascarpone butter that was dope!!! I wanted to put it on everything. From there, we added the Caprese Salad (decent) and the Fritto Misto (calamari, shrimp, and sweet drop peppers). The sauce was good, but there was a bit too much batter for my taste on the seafood. For dinner, we had the Branzino and I ordered the Agnolotti pasta, which is a pork and veal combo pasta. The server suggested adding lobster, so I decided to splurge. Wanting to try a bit of everything, we also added the Corn & Sausage side. The server crew was helpful overall, but we constantly had to wait on water refills. Also, the Lemon Spaghetti (a top pick, supposedly) didn't look that appealing when I saw other plates going out, so I passed on it. Unfortunately, my lobster didn't come out with the meal. I had to raise my hand like I was back in school to get someone's attention. Once I did, the manager responded quickly and worked to make it right. Eventually, the lobster came out a la carte, but by then I was already halfway through my pasta dinner. It might've been a good mix, but I didn't get to enjoy it the way it was intended. The pasta itself was good, and there were no complaints from the Branzino fan across from me. The corn and sausage was good, but I wouldn't order again as it felt a little out of place with the rest of the meal. I do appreciate the response from the team to try and resolve by removing from our bill, but I also had to remind them at the end, which made it awkward as it was overlooked. To close out, I had the Happy Birthday Cookie Platter. It was a nice touch, but that signature experience I was hoping for just wasn't there. A letdown, especially on a night that was meant to be special & memorable.

I came here for dinner last night with a large group and we were seated in the private dining room. Sara provided amazing service throughout the evening and really helped make the experience enjoyable. The food was delicious overall. I especially enjoyed the branzino. On its own, I found it a little too lemony, but once I added the topping, the flavors came together perfectly. The broccolini was also excellent--crisp, flavorful, and cooked just right. I wasn't a fan of the asparagus with balsamic, and the focaccia was a bit too greasy for my taste. The cocktails were the weakest part of the meal for me, though I wasn't entirely surprised since they use some spirits I'm not particularly fond of, such as Empress gin. The Italian Paloma I received looked very different from the one another guest ordered. Hers was much pinker, while mine was very green. She enjoyed hers, but I really didn't like mine. The La Strada was just okay. Overall, the excellent service and standout food made for a great evening. read more

This is my 2nd visit to Luna. After a disappointing meal 2 years ago shortly after they opened, we decided to give Luna another try. First, I want to emphasize how excellent our service was throughout our meal. Our server Dara was very attentive as well as our bus boy, Nick. Both were super friendly and never left us waiting for service even after the restaurant became busy throughout the evening. We started with dirty martinis which were very good. The issue I have is the martini was $17. I was charged $2 for olives and another $4 for making it dirty. Seriously? Then the glasses of house cab wine were $30 each. More than the cost of the bottle in the store. The drink prices are out of line. We ordered several appetizers including the shrimp, ravioli and bacon wrapped dates. All were pretty good. The shrimp was just basic. For dinner, we ordered the following: Signature lemon spaghetti. $39 My friends were excited to try the famous lemon spaghetti. They said they liked it but both took one bite and left the rest in the plate. The Calabrese pizza $28. The crust was good but the pizza was so salty, ate one slice and couldn't finish it. Scallop risotto. $49. This was tasty. But it was such a small portion. I didn't feel it was worth the price. K4 Ranch petite filet. 6OZ. $66. Wow, such a disappointment. My friend said it tasted like old meat and couldn't stomach it. The last insult to a terrible meal, a 3.5% venue admin fee plus a 20% automatic tip for a table of five. I don't mind paying the gratuity as our service was excellent. We also left additional gratuity. But a venue fee? Terrible. I so want to love Luna as I'm a huge fan of Giada, but the food is so disappointing. read more

Luna restaurant is inside of our Scottsdale hotel so we stopped here for dinner one night and sat at the bar. There were 3 bartenders behind the bar, and only 1 was attentive. We watched the other 2 mingle all around the bar with everyone but us. But any who's, drinks were cool and my pasta dish was delicious but VERYYY salty. It was so good I just kept pushing through it and drinking a lot of water to balance it all out. read more

3.5-4 stars! The ambiance is super fun here we loved the Christmas decor! Service started out wonderful but unfortunately fell flat. They completely forgot my friends order and nobody came by to check in- after 20 minutes of everybody already finishing up their meal we finally had to flag somebody down to let them know my friend didn't get her pasta. They offered to make one complimentary as they felt bad. But then on the check they charged her/ they were kind to take it off. But also strange that we denied dessert and they said they are happy to give a complementary one for my friends birthday...only to once again on the receipt be charged $5 for a birthday dessert?! They said it was complimentary so that was also strange. My risotto was delicious but on the saltier side. Just expected with how pricey this place is we would've had a better experience :/ read more

Let's start with the impeccable service!!! They truly provided the five star experience, specifically Jay. He was so knowledgeable, transparent, and personable. He gave honest answers and made incredible recommendations. The cocktail he recommended was the Isabella, an Italian twist on a margarita. Amazing!!! You MUST get the noble focaccia bread to start. The crab arancini was tasty but smaller than I anticipated. The table loved the Branzino. I can't give a fair assessment because I'm not a fan of fish. The stars of the show for me were the lemon pasta and Filet special. Everything was great and we feasted like a family! A dabble of everything and to end it, the tiramisu was amazing!!! Honestly, many dishes are lemon forward and I'm all for it! The ambiance is so inviting and we ended the evening with roof top drinks and scoping out Wolf by Lisa Vanderpump! read more

We had dinner at Luna by Giada and it was so good. Definitely five stars. We started with the focaccia bread which was warm, perfectly seasoned, and a great way to kick off the meal. I ordered the signature lemon spaghetti with sautéed shrimp and it was bright, fresh, and full of flavor without being too heavy. My boyfriend got the pan seared wild salmon with parmesan gnocchi and it was cooked perfectly. The salmon was tender and the gnocchi was rich and comforting. The atmosphere was classy but still relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive. Between the food, the vibe, and the overall experience, this place absolutely earned the five stars. How could I forget to write a review on my favorite spot while I was in Scottsdale. Luna by Giada was conveniently in our hotel so of course it became our go to spot to sit at basically every day we were there. We never fully sat in the restaurant but we did sit at the bar and enjoyed food and drinks. There were a ton of things on the menu I would have tried but we were always there for a quick bite. We did share the meatballs and a pizza one day which were both so good. I love a woodfired pizza so it was perfect! The bartending staff were top notch. There were 2 girls that always helped us and I wish I remembered their names now because they were the best and made it so much fun to stay there and stop for a drink throughout the weekend. This restaurant is in a hotel but definitely worth stopping in for some tasty Italian food. read more

It was a Sunday evening, and my friend and I just had dinner in the area. We then realized that Luna was nearby! We had dined at Giada's restaurant in Vegas before and loved the dessert. So we decided to stop at Luna for dessert. It was not too busy around 7pm; there were plenty of tables available. We felt bad when the server started talking to us about the specials, but she quickly pivoted once we told her we were just there for the Tiramisu. She gave us a heads up that it won't be like a traditional Tiramisu. It was served in a double old-fashioned glass, and was rich and decadent from the chocolate cream. It was definitely different with the chocolate instead of espresso flavor, but still delicious and kept me going back for another spoonful. There were some crunchy bits inside - not sure what it was, but it was a nice contrast from the creaminess. This Tiramisu was vastly different from the one in Vegas too. So I'm definitely curious about the rest of the menu and want to come back for a meal. read more

Luna by Giada is a great choice if you're looking for an aesthetic spot in Scottsdale. Located inside a gorgeous new hotel, this place has all the vibes--chic décor, plenty of seating (both indoor & outdoor), and a menu that'll have you drooling. We weren't super hungry when we went, but we had to try the lemon pasta and lemon pizza --both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. We also sipped on a mocktail that was just as amazing! Oh, and shoutout to our server, who was seriously the best. The rest of the menu looked so good that we're already planning to come back with a bigger appetite. I've been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened. Some friends asked if we wanted to go and I was excited to finally give it a try. What a disappointment. I will say that the restaurant is quite beautiful, and it was very busy. It is located in the Caesars Republic hotel which is very modern and fancy. It has another restaurant on the 7th floor and a terrace on the 8th floor with a nice view of the city. The food and drinks were mostly underwhelming and overpriced. I got the Bella Luna which was recommended by our server. $21 for a drink I could have made at home. The caprese salad was not bad but $23 for a tiny salad is not worth it. My husband enjoyed his acorn squash soup and son said the filet was good. The sausage pizza was something I could get at our local pizza shop. $30 for a small pizza like that is ridiculous. I was looking forward to trying the signature dish lemon spaghetti but it came out cold and the shrimp was crunchy and undercooked. The nodi marini alla vodka also came out cold. $38 + $16 for chicken for a small dish like that is insane, and it really wasn't anything special. For dessert, the tiramisu was way too sweet and did not have an authentic taste. I still can't believe we dropped so much on a bad meal and on top of that they charged a 3.5% service fee and added 23% gratuity to our bill. Our server was ok but nothing special and we were brought cold food. Not to mention they didn't even offer us the pepper. Honestly, they are ripping people off at this restaurant. Seriously, up your game if you're going to charge people this much for food and drinks. I'm sad to say we were very disappointed by Giada's restaurant and we will not be returning it recommending it to anyone. read more

The wife and I chose this place at the spur of the moment while passing through Scottsdale. We wanted to hit up her place while we were in Vegas, but other things seemed to occupy us while we were there and never had the chance. At any rate, we took the opportunity and decided to have an early dinner to beat the crowd. I'm glad we did because we literally had the place to ourselves. The service was stellar, the ambiance was relaxed, bright, airy, and with a truly Tuscan feel. The live singer was so good we thought it was a pre-recorded playlist until we saw him singing by the bar. I ordered the chicken piccata and the wife ordered the lobster pasta. Both excellent choices. I had their signature bourbon cocktail, which was ok. The server was attentive and offered enough conversation to find out that my wife was celebrating her birthday. At the end of the meal, our server was thoughtful enough to bring out a piece of candle topped Tiramisu that was absolutely divine. Overall our experience was great! Super delicious food! First I got the crab aranchini and it was beautiful and tasty. I would have preferred it to be warmer though. The plate was hot but the insides were room temperature. The focaccia was really good too. I wish the butter wasn't salty. The herbs and oil went great with the bread. For my meal I got the classic lemon noodles. I absolutely loved the taste of these. I wish the top of the noodles were warmer though, the bottom ones were nice and hot. Also, the server never told me that the scallops were an up charge and the shrimp came with the meal. Honestly, I think I should've gotten all four pieces of shrimp and then the two scallops because that was what I paid for. For dessert I got the pumpkin souffle. I love soufflés and this one had the perfect texture. I wish that the ginger snap cookies looked more home made and were warmed. I didn't eat them. Over all I had a pretty great experience here, just some temperature issues. I would definitely come back for the lemon spaghetti though. read more

It's what's on it. And the integrity behind it. Prawns and scallops are expensive in itself. Housemade fennel sausage and house made pastas and sauces made every single day. Also fine dining**^
Do I need a Rez for 3 pm this Sat for 2?
Yes. The restaurant gets super busy so definitely recommend making a reservation.
