Honestly, the 4 tacos supremes I had were some of the best tacos I ever had! Can't say enough about the positive experience and feeling I savored for each bite. Amelia's Kitchen is my go to if I need something to bite on a weekday.

I just moved to Fremont and was hoping to find some good mexican food. They did not disappoint. They were very friendly and the food was perfect. We have officially found our go to spot

Right off the freeway ! Guac is full of cilantro and lime but no spice Large portions. Meat is not fatty. Very friendly service.

Two super tacos de asada. Really good! I like the spices of the green salsa!!

Now this is a Taco Truck!!! Mom and Pop running the joint. The food was fast, fresh and delicious! The taco dorado is the star of the show here. Crunchy where it needs to be, soft and chewy everywhere else. I have driven by the place a bunch for work and will now be making continual rounds! (The salsa verde is smacking!!!!)

When I say fantastic I mean I'd give them 100 so good. Salsa is so damn good I'd buy it by itself . Wish they were open longer and weekends because if I could eat and not get fat I'd eat here every day

3 super burritos and chicken tacos regular

My favorite taco truck in the tri city! Meat portions are great and not fatty. Salas is fire. Food is always delicious never bland as Amelia truly seasons her meat. My typical go to order for the family is carne/Cameron burrito, chicken tacos, and chicken burritos. We eat here at least once a week because the flavor is so good and lone to support a small business. Also great that the truck is a 1 min drive from our house.

If I could give this place 10 'a I would. The service is 10 out of 10 and the food is fantastic. From the tacos, burrito's, nachos, quesadillas and the dorado taco's the flavor is so good and has the perfect spice. My husband showed me this truck and I have wanted it every week since. Today I ordered a pretty big order for my coworkers and when I drove off they immediately called me and told me they forgot to add my burrito. They offered to drive it all the way to my work but I was only down the street so I made my way back to the truck. Mr. Garcia was so kind, that when I pulled up he was outside waiting with my order in hand and he even added a few extra things because I had to come back. To me this shows true hospitality. Most places would never of called to let me know I forgot my burrito. So if you see this truck just know it is a must stop!

My favorite place to get tacos in Newark/Fremont. I've been on a tripas binge but not many restaurants offer tripas as a menu item. Luckily, this food truck does have it and although I like more crunch on my tripas, the tripas taco is still super delicious. I haven't tried the burritos or torta from this place. My friends who have tried the burritos have said that the burritos are ok, but the tacos are excellent. Definitely a must try! The downside of this place being a food truck is that sometimes they do catering and so you'll find that the food truck isn't at its normal spot. After two trips of the truck not being there, I've made it a habit to call beforehand to verify that the truck is on it's normal spot on Decoto. So far, I've tried 7 taco spots in the Newark/Fremont area and these tacos take the top spot! Go try some!

Horchata - very milky and sweet. Good for a hot day. Some cinnamon if you get to the bottom.

We were invited to Serena L's baby shower picnic in Washington Manor Park in San Leandro, and Amelia's Kitchen did all of the cooking! Apparently you can hire them for a few hours as an impromptu buffet. We arrived a bit later than most other guests, so we definitely went to town! Amelia's is definitely one of the better taco trucks I've been to. Here's a run down: 1. Their chicken tacos are among the best. Meat was moist and seasoned, and all it takes in a squirt of line, onions, cilantro for an awesome taco. It helps that the little thin corn tortillas were hot off the griddle! 2. My next favorite were the steak tacos, while the least favorite was the pork. These were not carnitas, but rather grilled pork meat that was on the dry side. You definitely need sauce to go with it. The steak on the other hand, was solid. 3. Lastly, on a hot day (actually ANY day), wash it all down with some of their excellent Horchata. Sweet, milky, and if you drink the last bit of it you'll taste the cinnamon. Definitely a fan of Amelia's Kitchen. Looks like the truck is based out of Fremont and Hayward. They are definitely great for catering!

Welp, found my new go to support for burritos. If I'm in the area and feel like mexican food. I will always go here.

I don't see an updated menu. How much is it per taco (regular street taco)?

Do they take cards or cash only?

    We take cards and cash

Are they really closed at 3 on a Saturday!?

Our usual closing hours for Saturday’s are 3pm, however, on the weekdays we close at 6pm.

    Are they closed Mondays?

No we are not closed on Mondays, we had a catering event today and that’s why we weren’t on Decoto. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Gonzalez regular burrito is the tastiest I've ever eaten in Fremont. It is likely the best burrito in Fremont. The tortilla prep is unique and is tasty, browned, and (buttery). The carne asada was fresh, perfectly spiced, tender, a generously portioned. The pinto beans were whole, not overly cooked, and added a nice layer of flavor and texture. Spanish rice was perfectly cooked, not mushy, not bland, not too much or too salty. The spice blend, fresh leafy bits, and crunchy onion bits, set this typical burrito apart from the rest I've tasted, ever. In totality, this burrito is a multilayered flavor and texture experience. I recommend. Well done Grill Los Gonzales! Caution, the roasted chilly are experienced high level chilly eaters only.

If it's a weekday and between 10 AM and 6 PM (call to check as they sometimes close early when they sell out), go to Amelia's and try the Amelia's Taco Dorado (crunchy taco shell in a soft taco tortilla with the works of meat, guacamole, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and her own salsa). Call ahead to give your order to Juan and they'll have your order ready. We've ordered ahead while a few exits away on 880 and also at the start of the Dumbarton bridge. ============================== This has been on my radar since my colleague told me about the best tacos he'd ever had in the Bay Area including al pastor sliced off a trompo, but then Tacos Grill Los Gonzalez disappeared for a while from the Apex used car lot. They're finally back so we did the long trek over to try them twice. I might come back if I happened to be in the area and saw zero people in line, but otherwise, the wait time is too long. They are not lunch time friendly as orders take a while to come out. First visit, there were two people in front of us and we ordered four tacos. It was a 28 minute wait. Second visit, two people ordered in front of us plus one person who picked up their order right as we got there. We ordered six tacos and waited 37 minutes. That is very long for a food truck. The people in front of us were getting impatient and repeatedly asking for status updates. There are no prices listed anywhere so you have to ask about each item or order off of blind trust. The trompo seems to be gone and it appears they use bulk bagged "al pastor" now, or at least it looked and tasted like what you see when taquerias order large plastic bags of pre-sliced, red-dyed meat to grill up as needed. The paper wrapper around each taco is a must because the fresh made tortillas fall apart after one bite, even if you are eating within minutes of being handed your tacos. Other options nearby are Amelia's Kitchen Taco Truck on Decoto with plenty of parking before Regan Nursery, Tacos Sin Fronteras (another food truck) a block down on the same side of Thornton and Mi Lindo Sinaloa (sit down restaurant) on the opposite side of Thornton.
