Stppped by on a Sunday in the afternoon. Note this truck is sharing a parking lot with a car dealership, there are a few parking spots next to the truck. They set up a canopy and several tables and chairs for people to sit, and have cucumbers, jalapeños, pickled onions, radishes, and four salsas for people to grab. Everything was very clean and nicely set up. The workers were very friendly. Like others have said, there's no pricing on the menu unfortunately. Just stopped by for a snack with a few friends and grabbed a few carne asada tacos for $4 each. It was definitely a bit pricey, but I would come back for it. These corn tortillas were very soft and flavorful - you could smell the corn as you chewed. Guac being included was a nice touch. There were a few chewy pieces but the meat had a nice Smokey flavor. Would come back to try their other items and meats.

Lengua taco(4.75), asada taco (4) extras on side.

Tacos Grill Los Gonzalez is located at the corner of the entrance to Apex Cars. No salsa bar, no seating area. Just 3 plastic stools nearby menu board on left side. No parking on lot, parking is on side street only. No pricing on entrees. Need to watch head to avoid hitting same on protruding supporting objects on food truck. Gravel surface isn't totally flat either. Offerings (Tijuana style, Mexico): tacos, burritos, Quesadilla de maiz/de Harina, tortas, mulitas, drinks, vampires, memelas... Tortillas & all corn products hand made on site. Order, paid, tacos ready in 10ish minutes. Bites: lengua taco (4.75) single tortilla shell grilled. -came with everything (Con Todo!): onions. Salsa, quacomole, cilantro. -red salsa, carrots, radish, jalepeno, lemon squeeze on side -small cubed tender, juicy morsels Asada taco (4) -each taco on a paper sleeve -shredded pieces of juicy moist beef. Ate it asap. Don't know if it would have traveled well. 4.5 Worthy:YMMV. Quality: everything fresh, made in house. Quantity: reasonable. Bigger than street tacos.

    Al pastor tacos with everything

Solid al pastor tacos with fresh tortillas. The masa was soft and the char on the meat was on point. I do taste the sweetness that overs mentioned but it makes sense when there are large chunks of pineapple cut across the tacos. Toppings were generous and well seasons a you had a table bar with radishes, lemons, cucumbers, picked red onions, and jalapeño & onion grilled to perfection. Foil was provided to wrap up your goodies for takeaway. There had a few bar stools or one long picnic table for those who wanted to eat there but def not my preference given the location. Service was friendly. They take Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle and CC. Clean and pretty fast at 3pm on a Saturday.

    Plenty of bicycle parking.

Service is polite and good. Good location. Prices are reasonable. I'm a fan of the regular asada burrito. Tasty, with addictive flavor. Depending on the weather, a table with chairs or stool are set out. Always something happens at the busy intersection.

I always passed by this spot and I always wondered how good it was and finally got to try it out. I was really excited to see on their truck that they have homemade tortillas. Customer service was really nice. Good setup canopy and table to eat at with another table with taco necessities (cucumber, habanero onions, lemons, radishes, grilled jalapeños and onions, and salsas). Good music playing! Ordered chicken tacos, chicken vampiro, and rice and beans. Prices just a little higher than most taco truck spots but it was well worth it because the tacos are loaded and it comes with guacamole and fresh made tortillas! Chicken had a nice smokey flavor and good texture, loved the vampiros their crispy and big, rice full of flavor! Just everything was on point, this for sure is my new go to taco truck spot! If you pass by this spot definitely try it out! Good quality tasty food.

    Taco with hair in it

We've passed by this place many times and finally decided to give it a try, but unfortunately it wasn't a good experience. About halfway through my taco, I found a hair in the food. It was clearly a hair, and it appeared it could have come from facial hair, as the cook has noticeable facial hair and wasn't wearing a hair or beard net. The service was also not very welcoming the interaction felt a bit flat. For food safety, I strongly recommend implementing proper hair and beard coverings in the kitchen. Overall, I won't be returning. Please double-check your food before eating.

Tacos Grill Los Gonzalez is a legit spot for authentic Tijuana style tacos, burritos and more. I first went to grab a quick lunch. I ordered 3 tacos: asada, pastor and campesano. The tortillas are made fresh. I usually prefer flour over corn, but the texture here is soft so they almost make me feel like they are flour. They're fresh and not store bought and you can taste the difference. The asada is solid. The pastor is my second favorite because it's flavored really well, plus of course the contrast of the pineapple always makes it even better. Savory and sweet. My favorite is campesano which is a mix of two meats. It reminds me of Tacos El Gordo (famous in San Diego and Vegas) where I first had campesano. All tacos, as are most other items, are dressed with guacamole. You can add the pickled vegetables, orange sauce, salsas and squeeze some lemon. It adds even more flavor. I ordered three tacos and a strawberry agua fresca. I managed to eat two and was pretty full. They're a decent size, just depends on how hungry you are. We came by the next night bc my family was hungry. We ordered an asada burrito, pastor burrito, pastor and asada tacos and a campesano vampiro. The vampiro is almost like a crunchy taco sandwich and has melted cheese inside along with all the fixins as well. The crunchy texture adds a twist vs eating soft tacos. Everyone loved their food and all I heard was, "This is so good," "I'm definitely going back here." It's a solid option and our new favorite Mexican spot. You can't miss it on the corner of Thornton and San Pedro, right in the parking lot of Apex cars. They are open late on the weekends too if you need late night eats.

My favorite Taco Spot! Even with a line they are fast and don't skip on quality! Every single bite was delicious and while we only found it recently have been back serval times. Working my way through the menu, and plan to try everything Its a food truck, so expect to be waiting in the outside and brave any elements.

$26 dollars without tip... how?! A side of rice, one plain asada taco with minimal meat, and a super quesadilla that now fits on a plate?!

Food quality kinda sucks lately and portions are getting smaller. Also, I wish they would post the pricing because I'm mind blown at my total. The quesadillas used to be huge and take up the large takeout container, and I would be full with half. Now I'm eating both halves that fit on one plate. For one plain asada taco (very little meat), side of rice and a super quesadilla my total was $26. I'll try one more time but this is the second time in a row I've been disappointed. Not worth the value.

Tacos on top and toppings on the side.

After seeing this spot on social media it made me want to try their vampiros and tacos. Ordered a few of each and tried three of their meats. Chicken 7/10 -- needs more seasoning. Carne asada 8.5/10 -- (had very few chewy pieces). Al pastor 7/10 -- (too much of a cinnamon flavor). Salsa verde 8/10 (very mild but tasty). Molcajete salsa 7/10 (charred salsa). Habanero salsa 7/10 (very mild for habanero). The tacos are topped with onions, cilantro, salsa and a lot of guacamole. The tortillas are handmade but they fall apart mid way while eating. The vampiros are my fave, they are like a super taco with 2 crunchy toasted tortillas almost like a tostada sandwich with melted cheese, onions, cilantro and guacamole. Keep in mind the tortillas are handmade so if you're in a rush and there are people ahead of you be prepared to wait for a hot minute. The Jamaica is amazing 10/10 The horchata just as amazing 10/10 They have great customer service as well. Overall this is a solid 4 stars :)

1000% recommend!! It's so good! One of the best tacos I've had. Lines get long and there's a bit of a wait but it's so worth it!! It's so filling and flavorful. It are located at a car dealership parking lot you can see them passing Thornton

Everything is always amazing when I come to this place. Staff is super friendly, & the food tastes so good! Tortillas are homemade. I'm in love with the pastor, which is made in house. Lately I've been getting pollo because I have to look out for my girlish figure, hahaha, but it is also delicious! The orange sauce is to die for but today I tried this red salsa looking sauce & it was super good. I try to eat here every single day I pick up my son from school. Thank you to Los Gonzalez for feeding me well!!!

This taco truck is located in front of a car dealership. Ordered took at least 20 mins and not many people ahead at the time. Ordered a bunch of tacos and my favorite meat was probably pastor and asada. They give a decent amount of meat and sauce so it was very flavorful.

I had their Chicken sandwich. It was one which did not have a "spice" warning logo... but underneath the deliciously crispy batter, there was a very noticeable spice (my tolerable spice level is hot Cheetos, and this was slightly spicier than that). Beyond the spice, the chicken itself was spectacularly cooked. The interior was quaint. They had two large posters with a few tv's one playing Ted Talks without sound. They also had a prayer area which i thought was nice and well maintained. The bathroom: A single person restroom tucked in the back of the storage hallway. (The same hallway the staff uses to go to the back of the kitchen). It is decently clean with a larger sink and a toilet that even has a bidet. Above the door, there is a sprayer nozzle that is a bit worrisome since anyone who enters the restroom walks directly underneath this. The kitchen had an obnoxiously loud mechanical squeaking noise... not sure what it was but we just tried to ignore it (which was very difficult to do). The order: The Big G (Chicken Sandwich) -Had a large, thick, and very juicy fried chicken. The batter is knurled with a great crunch! Even though it had some heat, it was delicious!!! If you want more heat, there are options on the menu. This could easily be the best chicken sandwiches I have had in the area... if it weren't spicy. Comes with a side, and I chose seasoned fries (the seasoning turns out to be very spicy). Combo 1 -This combo comes with 2pc bone in chicken and a side. This chicken comes with the same deliciously crunchy batter as the Big G, and it too has a spice level I was not expecting. As for the side, this time I went with regular fries, and it helped tremendously to cool down my mouth from all the hot spices/seasonings going on. Definitely worth a try if you can handle and enjoy hot Cheetos. But if you can't, then I recommend skipping this one. But the delicious chicken batter might be worth the spice pain.
