What a great place to hangout if you're not from around this area. Staying for a week at a professional conference and this place was the number one place that many of us went too. No one greeted us. We got two Bloody Mary's and they didn't come with the advertised skewers like everyone around us had. When we asked about it, our "server?" Responded with, "well, I'd have to make them." We said, "okay we'd like them please." And she said "it's my lowest priority and will take at least 30 minutes.." and then no one came back to check in us again. Because we are good people, we asked for the check to pay for our Bloody Mary's, but for the first time in my life, I refused to leave a tip. Super chill place where it's not a crowed full of loud mouth club hopping 21 year olds. Little bit older more mature relaxed environment. Typical bar food with good garlic truffle fries. Also has shuffleboard which is my favorite, though groups tend to hog it sometimes :P read more

Sat down and got our orange juices and waters fast. the waitress took our order and then disappeared. When we saw her again she was making and serving drinks. We sat where we could see the kitchen and watched over 6plates of food pile up and not a single person touched the plates to take them to customers for over 15 minutes. At this point we left money for our oj, probably too much but there were no prices.. and got out. As we were leaving someone finally walked over to the food and stood there looking dumbfounded as to where the food was supposed to go. The entire time we were there people were being served drinks next to us and gawking at the food commenting on how much was piling up. I used to not be being into wings- now I love 'em! I meet up with some friends for my birthday here a couple weeks ago. Best damn wings I've ever had!!! The were perfectly cooked, crispy and Delish!! I like to get mine with the sauce on the side, their classic sauce is great and I love their honey sriracha- yum! They have several other good kinds too. I gave the 2 stars because of the old school feel. The set up here is so awesome, very open space they have outside seating. The bathrooms are fairly small the drinks are good, but the service is absolutely terrible. I've never been to an establishment where the servers/bar tenders are so rude. Three of us went here last week and service was a -0 we order wings on happy hour which they charged full price for. Once we told the server that they were on happy hr she wanted to argue with us stating bar time runs 15 mins faster than pacfic time. We got there @ 11:15 so not sure as to why we were charged full price after telling her she did fix the bill(with attitude) the wings were horrible. Over cooked and a mess. 5 of us guys agreed to meet at Amendment XXI after work last night. I had heard they had good food and thought it would be a good place to hang out after work, play some pool and have a few drinks. A couple friends got there about 10 minutes before I did. I arrived about 525pm. Finally at about 545pm, I decided to go up to the bar and ask "do we need to place an order up here or...." -Oh no, we'll send someone back! The waiter was friendly and took our order and somehow remembered all of it without writing anything down. The first pitcher of beer came pretty quickly after that and the food wasn't much longer. The garlic fries were REALLY REALLY good and the happy hour tacos were good. I wanted another pitcher of beer.....so again, I had to go up to the bar and wait a minute to two to get someone to pay any attention to us. We would have probably ordered a 3rd and maybe a 4th pitcher but they HARDLY came by and asked if we needed anything. I think we played 3 full games of pool and our glasses were all empty and they never asked if we wanted another pitcher or drinks. Seems like they could make more money if they'd continue serving. I like the atmosphere, the drinks, the food, but the service is horrible!!! Finally, we decided we were done and of course, had to chase our tab down. I didn't dare ask they split it up because who knows how long that would have taken. I never had the privilege of seeing a receipt or a list of what we were charged for. The bartender is pretty rude ! I was their Saturday around 5 pm for a drink. I ordered a beer and then my friend asked the guy if he can try the 2 IPAs they have on tap to choose one of them.The bartender stayed silent for 10 seconds then said no I can't give you a sample. I told the guy ok just give him pint of either one of them. After we got our beers, the guy did not come back to check if we wanted another beer for almost 40 min !! This is supposed to be a bar, so you would expect bar food. The menu is surprisingly more upscale. Decided to have the bacon wrapped filet with Demi glacé. Was sorely disappointed, the bacon around the filet was raw, the Demi looked like lumpy, brown mashed potatoes and tasted like beef bouillon. On the side was served sautéed zucchini and squash that was swimming in oil and way too much Italian seasoning and as mushy as baby food. My husband got a similar dish that was equally unsatisfying, had to send back his steak because although ordered med rare, it was raw in the middle. The new steak took 30 minutes to fire and by then we were just ready to go. If you're going to have classier food on your menu, make sure your chef knows how to cook it properly. Get: Prohibition Patty Melt Garlic Parmesan Wings Amendment XXI teeters on the 5 star rating. In my three visits, the food has been the overwhelming highlight - and not because everything else is bad - the food is just that good. Whereas I would likely pay a similar amount at most TC bars and get mounds of fried mediocrity, I would consider the fare at AXXI worthy of a trip even if you don't partake in the drink. I was amazed at the herby and bold flavor profile of the patty melt and the crispy execution of the wings - which rivals most wing places in town. The atmosphere is decent - attempting a prohibition era theme with some partially-covered outdoor seating. They have a large mixed drink menu including an extensive Mule list, and about 12 beer taps in addition to bottles. Largely populated by regional brews, this tap list could improve in variety and quality - which drives me to 4 stars rather than 5. I've personally had great service and never had a problem finding a seat, though I have heard that, at times, it can get quite busy. read more

We found our "Cheers Tavern" in the Tri-Cities. I like the layout of the tavern. An "L" shape configuration for libation service. Two pool tables and a very nice shuffle board is located around the corner from the main dining-drinking area. About eight to ten "handles" offering Pacific Northwest Craft Beer. Wine bottle prices fairly reasonable as compared "by-the-glass". The kitchen was pretty efficient and created nice presentations. Try the garlic fries for an appetizer ..... REALLY GOOD! Went there because of the atmosphere. Cool bars, lots of TVs and a great selection of beers. I started out with the wings, a combo of garlic parm and honey siracha. Both were fantastic! After a few IPAs I had the pork Street tacos. Great presentation and even better taste. While there I got to meet the owner and the executive chef. Both were friendly and helpful. Pork sliders were excellent. The Pork-abition soup was fantastic. Service is just ok. Staff seems to goof off a little. I have nothing against employees having a good time, but not at the expense of service. Our waiter didn't write anything down and ended up forgetting a few things. Not a half bad joint really. I drank beers, and they came promptly with friendly service. The burger was pretty good with bacon and cheese. Certainly good enough to take the edge off of being hungry, but not overly filling either. Fries were pretty tasty but a little greasy. This bar is kind of bizarre with the layout. It seems like there's two bars, but there's actually only one. Strange mix of older 30-somethings with flat brim hats, "single women," and dirty hippies. Funky I guess... Cool new bar to hangout at with a prohibition theme. Has some good cocktails that are not being offered anywhere else, so try something new atleast and see what you think. A few occurrences of less than desirable food from some people I was with but the chicken wings are great! I go to a bar for drinking, so that is what I am most concerned with anyways. Usually has a pretty good happy hour crowd and evening weekend crowd. Usually a mixed demographic, which is good, so it doesn't develop stigmas for only one type of person. Pleasant staff, generous drinks, noisy with slow slow kitchen. I went twice in one week. First, on a Wednesday after work. It was super busy. I had to park on the street down the block. So, it was super noisy inside. Wait staff were prompt a were drinks but my Coug Mac and Cheese took 20 minutes and arrived in a lonely pile surrounded by a grease puddle-the description of "rich" was true but the portion size was quite small for the price. Next, I returned with a partner for a early dinner on Saturday. Again, staff were great but kitchen was slow-45 minutes to get food out and the restaurant was minimally 1/4 full of customers. Waitress recommended menus choices -- flatbread was good and would work as an entree -- had the right blend of chicken with feta and generous spring greens with delicious reduced balsamic drizzle. Bootleg burger, with sautéed mushrooms, nailed high expectations. Corn bread is awesome!!!!! Fries -- awesome!!!! The food was good, very good... the service was the worst I've ever experienced. My buddy and I were at the bar for at least an hour and a half and the bartender never asked how our food was, or if we needed anything else. We were served one beer in the hour and a half we were at the bar. Clearly there is no management at the business since the bartender spent an hour talking to the two guys next to us (one was clearly her boyfriend) and spent no time with the other customers... the place wasn't busy, service staff was not overwhelmed and they still couldn't provide adequate service. No management, horrible staff, terrible service I came back to give the place a second chance... it didn't get better. I'm sitting at the bar, and I'm drinking slow because I'm watching the World Series. The bartender, male, mid 20's, gold chain, gives me my bill.... I've had one beer. He says no rush. I can tell he wants me to leave because I'm not spending a lot of money, but the place isn't busy so not like I'm squatting on a seat that could make more money. A few minutes later, a customer comes to the bar and asks..." is there table service or do I order at the bar"? This guys response was, "you can do whatever you want". I have never heard of a more unhelpful response. The conversation with the customer went on for several minutes without the bartender ever actually doing anything to help the customer. If I owned this place and heard him talk to a customer the way he did I would fire him on the spot... he doesn't deserve a job. After being of no help to the customer, he walked over behind the bar and spent the next 5 minutes eating chicken wings! Management needs to get rid of this employee! read more

The menu was a step above your average bar and grill fare, almost...almost but not quite enough to qualify as a "gastro-pub." But the atmosphere was your typical drab, uninspired sports bar. Clean but dull. With just a bit of effort it could be classed up and really take more advantage of its "21st Amendment" namesake theme. Instead it is just kind of a noisy bar.
