Elsa has been cleaning our house for as long as we've owned it. She and her team are very good. She listens well, for a long time we asked her to use only green products because of our baby crawling and she ensured she only used approved cleaning products. She is thoughtful and will often ask and not make assumptions about where things should go, if she should move anything, etc. She is always on time and very professional and kind. Most importantly, after she comes we always feel we have a brand new house again! She is also honest and straightforward. She will tell you when there is an issue or if something can't be cleaned to her high expectations of cleanliness. The best, the only housekeeper/cleaning services I have ever had. I feel so lucky to find such an honest and hard working person as Elsa. Elsa was the one and only housekeeping service i inerviewed when we moved into our home over a year ago. She's very kind and patient and really easy to work with. She comes every other week and depending on the rest of her day, she usually works with her husband Miguel and sometimes another family member. We have a total of 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 living rooms, kitchen and a second story that they maintain. The lower level is all hardwood and the stairs and upstairs are all white carpet. I have finally found a true gem, and a real keeper to help me with such a private and sensitive part of my life/sanity. I don't want a housekeeper to clean up after me, as much as I want a person to help make my life easier. Cleaning my home, folding my laundry, caring to notice that I'm careless with random important things she finds under cushions and boldly places in the middle of the coffee table, etc. She once found a big ziploc-baggie of cash that I'd collected at a fundraiser the week prior, sitting on top of my dresser... and concerned that such a "wad" of cash was out in the open, she hid it in my underwear drawer. She is honest, she will always SMS me to let me know if she's going to be "off" from her regular time- even by an hour- even though I've insisted that she doesn't need to do this. Elsa works incredibly hard, is a doting mom and wife, and is as stable and reliable as folks can be. I hesitate to share this secret, but what the heck! I found her on Yelp and I love her. I am very picky about my house cleaners and Elsa is a gem. She doesn'e throw things out, she tries to learn where things go (as opposed to shoving is somewhere out of the way where I will never find it), she folds clothes, she does laundry, she organizes the kids' toys (as opposed to just tossing everything in one box). On a side note, she has been ill lately, so she brough in a helper to assist her with my home. I can't say enough good things about Elsa and her crew. They started cleaning our old apartment when I was pregnant with my first son - about 4 years ago. I remember shortly after he was born, I came home and Elsa and her sister were at the apartment cleaning. I felt bad that the apartment was more cluttered than usual and tried to pick things up to get them out of their way. They stopped me and put me into a room to lie down with the baby. I felt so cared for. I will always remember the care they showed me that day and every time they are in our home. Now we have moved into a house and were so happy Elsa was still able to fit us into her schedule. Sometimes she is with her husband, sometimes her sister and sometimes others but the result is always wonderful. They are super thorough and attentive - move furniture and area rugs, etc. and put rugs and towels into the wash if they need it. They always notice little details that I don't always even see. They are also extremely trustworthy - I have come to think of them as good friends, really. Elsa is a great house cleaner. She is truly dependable and trustworthy. My laundry is washed and folded (if there isn't too much!). The kitchen and bath towels are clean and hanging on the towel racks. The bed sheets are fresh once again. She always takes time to "meet and greet" my dog (to keep him from barking) and then gets to work. She even cleans up after the raccoon invasion of the dog and cat food area. She is a treasure that should be shared with anyone needing her services, her upbeat personality, and her overall professionalism. My older brother and I live together as only two single bachelors could in a spacious two bedroom corner apartment. In our San Francisco home, we had someone who came in bi-weekly to do our cleaning and thought we could never find someone who could do our housecleaning in an inimitable way out in the East Bay. Oh, my goodness. Based on the reviews on Yelp I contacted Elsa to clean my mother's house. We're preparing for the house for rental since she's gone into assisted living. She had lived in the house for 42 years and for the last several years between her failing vision and increasing dementia, things had gone downhill. Enter Elsa and her helper. They made a greasy, gross microwave GLEAM, along with cleaning the refrigerator and freezer to a degree that I hadn't thought possible anymore. The rest of the house looked just as good.
