We used AA for flying to Chicago as well as returning to Miami. Everything went well and our flights took off on time. No complaints. No.incidents. We were on an AirBus each way and they are more comfortable than the Boeing 737. There's an inch more in roominess in the seating area. The flight attendants were friendly and we received the delicious Biscoff cookie with our coffee. We had purchased snacks at Hudson's anyways so all was good.

Flew out on a 26 year old 737 the other day and it was a lackluster experience. My flight to SFO was delayed 3+ hours due to runway construction at SFO along with low ceilings impacting arrivals. Interestingly enough, the AA flight scheduled after mine left before mine?!? Once we were all on board, the pilots informed us of the situation and that our departure was scheduled in an hour and we would just be taxing on the runway for an hour?!? Once up in the air, the beverage cart came through midway through the flight along with a little bit of snacks. Some of the more junior cabin crew were talented and cordial. #GenZvibes Cabin attendants wore xl gloves. I received 5 notifications throughout the day from AA informing me of the continuous delays for my flight which was interesting. Domestic carriers hit differently than Asian carriers. Iykyk

I've had the worst service today with America Airlines out of all Airlines I've used. I have had over 4.5 hours in delays all for maintenance. One leg of the flight, AA 2896 from Omaha to Chicago was delayed because of water and toilet issues. The next leg, Chicago to Knoxville, was delayed yet again for maintenance issues another 2.5 hours because yet again maintenance issues. I don't fly American because I want to but because I have to. If Southwest serviced Knoxville I'd be with them in a second. In my opinion it seems American not to really care about its flying clientele. read more

Best, and worst flight! Fast and easy boarding. Relaxing 7:00 am flight out of Tampa to ORD this morning with minimal turbulence made it easier to deal with no luggage to claim at baggage claim. Attendant at baggage told me my bags would arrive on the 2:00 pm flight and will be shipped to my house today. Inconvenient and disappointing. Still waiting for my bag, with all of my personal belongings American! read more

I've flown with American since I can remember and have always had a carry on? For the first time EVER I HAD TO CHECK MY BAG in??? This is such an inconvenience?! Especially when you start boarding from groups starting with 1??? You would think that groups would be called by there seat arrangement and not groups, since group 1 is usually first class! Get your stuff together American . read more

Never fly American Airlines on a red eye. I have yet to be on one that leaves on time, number one. Number two there is aways a crew issue. We are gesdedback to the terminal because the pilot exceeded his hours! REALLY, why the hell did he get on the plane in the first place! We'll lucky to leave tonight. Boo to you Capt. read more

I am actually an AA fan... I have been a long time cutomer and always choose AA over the competitors... but* *damn, when you f*ck everything up for your LOYAL clientele, do you think that you could say, "I'm sorry" ... and those uptight flight attendants, yes, we all know they are there for our safety first, but how about a smile? Lately I find myself searching for any international carrier I can find... uh huh, a sign of the times. read more

Reviewing airlines is like shooting fish in a barrel. Its quite easy to give sub-par stars. And most airlines deserve it (I'm looking at you, United.). But I have flown three times in the last couple of months on American, and have been so pleased with them, that I can give them a 4 stars. If I had written this review last year, I would have given them 1 star. What changed? Really, nothing but luck, but I only flew once with them last year, and with quite a few trips this year with them, their history in my eyes have been exponentially better than United (which I've dealt with always in the past). Ok, so air travel isn't what it used to be. Yea, I'm getting old, but it really isn't. I used to love to fly in the early 90s when I was a kid (maybe being a kid put a rose colored tint to my memories), but everyone was so much nicer. Now, you are lucky you even get a acknowledgement (again, I'm looking at you United), let alone a smile. Early this year, while traveling to Colorado for skiing, AA had the best prices. When I booked, they offered a sweet deal on the Credit Card (30k points and $100 cash back). Well, since getting the card, which I find very useful (priority boarding), I've been using AA more frequently. It also helps that their prices are competitive. And using their miles is really nice since you can apply it to one leg if you choose (say you don't have many points, but enough to at least pay for one way journey (like when I used to go to Alaska and saved mucho dinero). But besides all that, every time I've flown recently, I've gotten nicer stewardess who smile and/or make conversation. One even who had a great sense of humor and complimented on my bag. Its those little things that make flying (which is a commodity as riding a bus nowadays) much more pleasant. It even helps (somewhat) alleviate the lack of food/snacks/up-charges and lack of seat room. Even when I made a really stupid move and forgot my passport (which I admitted to the CSR at the AA desk in O'Hare), she was able to push my flight to an hour later (no charge!) while I had a taxi drive me to my apartment to fetch my passport. I had to make the flight in order to make it on time for the cruise. OMG, I give props to this taxi driver (and will have to write another review)... he might not have been talkative, but damn, was he fast. I got home in Ravenswood and back to O'Hare in 1 hour; I was a bit car sick, but I knew he probably saved my ass from a huge mistake. He even settle for less money in cash even though I insisted in paying a big tip! read more

I'm not going to lie, American/US Airways let me down a little bit last week. We booked last minute travel (a 2pm flight at 6am the same morning) on December 28th for 6 passengers. That part of the process was easy, and for that last minute, not horribly expensive (less than $500 round trip per person.) Our route down to Fort Lauderdale included a connection in Charlotte, and both of those flights were AA operated by US Airways. Flight 470 from Chicago to Charlotte was fine - no issues along the way, with the exception of a mandatory roll-aboard carry-on check if you were seated in Zone 5 (none of us were so it was not an issue.) We arrived in Charlotte to a small rolling delay, no problem there. The problem I had was that on Flight 2074 departing Charlotte for Ft Lauderdale, I encountered the biggest Bitch with a capital B of a flight attendant that I have ever had the displeasure of flying with. She was horrible. Rude, rude, rude. We boarded, and were sitting toward the front of the plane (row 11 I think?) and when we boarded, the overhead compartments nearest us were closed. Now, I've been flying for many years. When an overhead compartment is closed, that means it's full, right? Right. So, I sat, while my boyfriend took our two roll-aboard's and proceeded to move back ONE aisle to put them up. This is where the bitchiness began. She BARKS at him "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?! WHERE ARE YOU SITTING? YOU HAVE TO PUT THOSE WHERE YOU SIT!" So he says, well, they're closed. She opens them, they're empty. How does this even make sense? Then, she gives him super attitude and tells him he's only supposed to put one up, and the other below the seat. That's where bitchy Valerie jumps in and retorts "He has his and my bag there. Those aren't both his." She shut up a little, but her bitchiness with other passengers was apparent. If you don't like being a flight attendant, get a new job. It's that simple. Our flight home was AA 1074 direct from Ft. Lauderdale to O'Hare on December 30th. It was also delayed... and we sat on the tarmac for what felt like FOREVER before actually taking off. The issue I had with this flight is that it was WARM. It was unusually warm. Hot even. Sticky sweaty, and not in a good way. We were sweating bullets. Flights are usually cold. I was even sitting in the window seat and I was shvitzing like a hooker in church. Super uncomfortable. The flight staff was nicer, but it was just too.damn.hot. I generally like American, and prefer them to discount airlines such as Spirit and Southwest. However, US Airways, I am definitely not a fan of. read more

I rarely travel so I'm not that familiar with checking departure time. When my ticket was printed in the check in area, the lady told us that our gate is H12. Same thing also printed in our ticket. I downloaded the American Airlines app and saw that our gate is saying H14. I approached the American airline employee lady in the gate just to confirm that I should follow the one on what it says on my app on the phone. The lady answered with angry voice saying don't follow the one on your phone, look at the monitor on the wall! I was just merely asking just to make sure because like I said , I don't travel a lot but the lady answered with angry tone. I'm taking my family for the very first time to the happiest place on earth and this lady just ruined it. Next time, we're not booking our flight anymore with American Airline. read more

Yes, American Airlines can get you to your destination for less cost, but be prepared to sacrifice for that cost. I recently took a trip to L.A. with my girlfriend. We decided to fly on American Airlines because it saved us forty dollars over United. Let me tell you, it was a mistake. Their customer service representatives are horrible. Not only are they ill equipped to help you with any request you might have, the ones I have encountered do not even know how to convey themselves with any kind of friendliness or concerned manner. It seems that they are just willing to push you on to the next person, and when that does not work, give you a piece of paper with an address to write your complaint. Of course, you can always send an email, just do not expect for them to send a confirmation of receipt or a response to your complaint in any kind of timely manner. I have been waiting for two weeks just for an acknowledgment. Our particular situation arose from the availability to choose seats when scheduling your flight. If no seats are guaranteed, and they will remind you of that over and over, then why give me the choice when I am purchasing. When the flight was changed, so were our seats. When we tried to have them put us next to each other for the flight, they acted like I was asking them for their firstborn. This happened on the flight out AND the flight back. As a matter of fact, the only reason we flew next to each other on the way home is because of a generous stranger who switched seats with us. Further, do not try to extend a trip for business or personal reasons. They will exact a high charge for any and all transfers or changes. Their reservationists also embody their lowest possible customer service standards. I will not fly with American again unless I have to. I would encourage others not to as well. read more

What a freaking joke. I woke up to an email that I would miss my connection flight from Seattle to Philadelphia due to delays 3 hours before my flight. I call in and they change my flight to North Carolina, and an hour earlier. Get to the airport and am told we need to change it again due to delays there so I am in Chicago with a 2 hour layover only to be told as we board the plane it's going to be another 2 hour layover. My fiancé took today off work to pick me up tonight and now has to call out tomorrow because of how late I will get in. Never ever will I fly with this company again. I've never had these issues as long as I have been flying. read more

I booked this airline for my return trip to Chicago from Orange county, California. Economy seating is the same as other airlines, however I found the seating to be more comfortable than United. Service was on par with expectations, so I can't complain there. read more

the counter staff is so rude I was at ord and aus checking in and both places had staff that where beyond rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. and I was checking in first class. I can not even imagine how they treat coach. I know their union and they know they can not be fired but omg can they treat us like human beings. and not like we where a lower form of life form. Funny thing their mission statement states " American Airlines and American Eagle are in business to provide safe, dependable and friendly air transportation to our customers, along with numerous related services. We're dedicated to make every flight you take with us something special. Your safety, comfort and convenience are our most important concerns." It should read we hate you! just want you money and really try to make your flight a living hell. "blank" your concerns and may you the customer burn in hell for even thinking you deserve even average customer service. read more

My flight from O'Hare to Indy on one of the smaller planes was alright; however, when I got off of the first portion of the layover, I had been on Alaska Airlines. The plane landed, and dropped us off right in the American Airlines terminal areas. I was a bit confused. I checked the departures on the TV screen, and I found one that left to Indy the same time as mine was supposed to (on Alaska Air); however, the flight number had changed. I thought it strange, and couldn't just be a coincidence that our plane dropped us off here, a flight leaves the same time as my second flight, and the two airlines couldn't somehow be connected. So I went to that gate, and I asked the AA clerk if the two airlines were associated somehow. She said no, was very unhelpful and uncaring. At a loss for words and not sure what to do, I tried to tell her that I needed help while still seeming like I sort of knew what was going on. I explained getting off the gate, how the flight leaves the same time, all the while, she just looked at me like I was toooootally wasting her time. She then asked for my ID and printed off a boarding pass, telling me what time I should be back (as if I were irresponsible in the first place). She was SO rude, and I was worried that I was stuck in this airport with some ghost flight back to Indy that I'd never catch. I WAS in the right place, even though she made me feel like I wasn't and never so much as flicked a HALF smile at me. All though this (and my two hour layover), the flight was delayed, and they never told anyone- Luckily, I listened to other angry, pissed off people and noticed a new time had been posted (twice, actually). Thanks, but this only makes me realize how much I really like Southwest. If it weren't for the nice flight back to Indy, I'd give this one star just from the rude AA employees at the airport and the total lack of empathy they seemed to have for their customers. read more

I just had the worst flight experience on American Airlines. First, the gate area has no social distancing and 25 percent of the people at the gate are not wearing masks or wearing them improperly. Then, so that American can charge more for seat upgrades, the flights are no longer boarded rear to front. It is a hodgepodge of people stepping all over each other, again with no social distancing. Once seated, the same 25 percent of people are not wearing masks or are wearing them improperly. And American flight attendants refuse to do ANYTHING. Some of them don't even wear masks until you catch them in the back row. Lastly, the deplaning process is more chaos as there is no unboarding by rows like on other civil airlines and there is ZERO social distancing. Flight 335 from Miami to Chicago on October 31, 2020. Avoid that flight AND ALL AMERICAN flights for your own personal safety. read more

In April of 2010, I elected to finally take the plunge and do a real vacation that involved travel. I chose a trip to Washington DC and utilized AA for outbound and return flights. The trip itself was booked through Travelocity. This was my first time flying outside of going to see my grandparents in California when I was a wee lad. So it had been roughly 23 years since my last flight. I was very nervous. Upon arriving at ORD, I was not really sure where to go or what to do. I located an AA employee and she reviewed my boarding pass, escorting me to the security line. After going through security, I was pretty much able to locate my departure gate on my own. I met with the agent at the desk, explained it was my first time flying and if there was anything else I needed to do. She explained the boarding procedures and to just sit back and relax. Boarding went smoothly, was able to find my seat. The plane itself was clean in appearance, seats were comfortable and the staff on board was out of their way friendly. The flight departed without issue and arrived in DC for what was one of the best vacations of my life. The return trip equally was unventful. I will use AA for any future long distance trips. read more

Awesome customer service. Due to bad weather my flight from Miami to Chicago was delayed and therefore I missed my connecting flight to Rome. I received and email and phone call letting me know that they rearranged my flight iteninary and booked me on a flight from Chicago to London, London Rome. A little annoying to have to make the additional stop, but nevertheless they made it happen. It could have been worse. read more

American Airlines is the absolute best! I must say I'm partial because I've flown American almost exclusively for the past five years. The last three attaining Exec Plat status. At this level the service you get is much better than the average flyer. Either way, American has always treated me with courtesy and respect whether I was flying coach or first. While every airline has it's problems you have to feel for the legacy carriers. They could file bankruptcy, go out of business and then the executives start another airline with employees at half the price. That's just not right, but we (the flying public) typically look for the lowest fare and then expect the world. Get real the poor flight attendants work LONG hours and have to put up with all of us who are cranky from waiting in every long line possible at the airport. That's just my opinion, which when it comes to American is very high! We Know Why You Fly! read more

As much as I don't really love this airline, my experience this past weekend was very easy. Had two easy flights with no issues and no delays. My only complaint was that I was seated one row in front of an exit row and because of that my seat did not recline. This would have made the flight uncomfortable if it was longer, luckily it was only 2 hours. Other than that minor issue, everything seemed to be OK. I would not necessarily seek out this airline, but if the price is right, its OK. read more

The reservation line is horrible and don't care that you need help. I booked 2 times the same flight and they feel 2 hours is enough of a hold. When I finally threw in the towel to buy the ticket at the airport it was better. The lines are long but at least they try to keep it moving. Worst part is I have a American Airline credit card and use it quite often but that don't help in getting the best customers service. read more

I would like to thank Brittany Ayanna Richardson Employee #714799 for helping me when I had a seizure due to my diabetes. When the other AA employees didn't do anything, Brittany stood up and took action. She went above and beyond what anyone has done, and stayed with me until paramedics came. I would like to thank AA for hiring such a great and caring person. It was my first flight with AA after switching from another airline, and now will always fly with AA. Please reward Brittany in anyway you can, she is the reason I will now only fly AA!!!! Thank You Brittany for helping me out, my wife and son were very scared and you helped ease their fears. Since I'm AAdvantage Gold, I'm sort of their bitch. I also am a member of the Admirals Club, which can be quite the oasis in the sea of sweatpant-clad transient travelers. But that's another review. It's really hit or miss with these folks. On the one hand, if you're fortunate enough to be Gold or Platinum, you can get upgraded fairly easily, depending on your travel dates and where you're going. In their hub airports especially, you usually get to stand in the shorter "first class" security line. But whenever I'm sitting in first class, I seem to be invisible. I've been directly ignored by many of the flight attendants (who I generally admire, and have some friends who are wonderful examples). I've even asked one of them if I look like someone who wronged them somehow. That was met with a blank stare, and still I didn't get a drink. And changing my ticket is usually a crapshoot. If you get a customer service agent who isn't overloaded (better if you call around 4am), they're usually willing to navigate the system in your favor. Otherwise, the agents don't want to be bothered, want to get off the phone as quickly as possible while taking as much of your money as they can. Um, and what's with the MD-80s not having movies on 4+ hour flights? Seriously? Even the low budget airlines have some sort of entertainment...and I'm not talking about the budding comedians who work for Southwest. Oh well. As a Chicago dweller, it's them or United if you want to get anywhere quickly. read more

OK. If you are going to charge for baggage then make sure you have change. The woman at the counter was rude and immediately stated you need correct change I have none. I'm sorry but the person in front of me paid you and now you have change. Other than that flight was good and on time. Return trip: Never travel during the Holiday. The flight was full of kids. Especially the one screaming behind me for 3 hours. Parents do something to at least try to calm the child down. Overall flight attendants are rude as well as the check in counter. Good part both flights on time no delays. read more

To: Mr. Douglas Parker, CEO of American Airlines From: Peter McCool, MD, JD candidate 2020 Loyola University Chicago School of Law Date: August 6, 2018 Re: Negligent Business Practices To Whom It May Concern: It is my sincere hope that this letter makes its way to Mr. Parker, and any employees with authority to effect change in American Airlines. The intent of this letter is to bring to light the terrible events that were imposed upon us by American Airlines on August 3rd and 4th of 2018. In the paragraphs to follow, I will first outline the facts as they occurred. Next I will point out the negligent operations of American Airlines and how this negligence caused us to cancel our only vacation of the year, resulting in the loss of thousands of dollars in expenses. Finally, I will conclude with what I feel would be a reasonable solution to this harm. My family and I planned to fly to Portland, Maine on August 3, 2018. There we were going to meet up with family members and begin a wonderful vacation, our only vacation of the year. After our original flight from Chicago O'Hare to Philadelphia landed we found out that our connecting flight from Philadelphia to Portland, Maine had been delayed. This was flight AA1833. It was originally scheduled to depart at 9:25 PM, and had been delayed until approximately 11:55 PM. It then got pushed back a number of times and ultimately ended with the cancellation of the flight entirely at 1:30 AM. At this point the airline only sent one employee to attend to all of the passengers needing to change their travel plans. This led to significant delays in getting anything accomplished. One hour after the initial employee was dispatched to deal with the cancellation and its subsequent disruptions, another employee was sent to help. Because of the late delay and ultimate cancellation, there were no hotel rooms available near the airport. Additionally there were no rental cars available anywhere near the airport, and we were then told that the next available flight we could take to Portland, Maine would not be until that Sunday evening late, approximately 10 PM. This would only allow us a little more than 24 hours on the ground in Maine. We would lose out on substantial money that we had spent on our hotels for four nights in Maine. Given the extreme limitations and losses already incurred at that point, the only option was for us to cancel the trip entirely and return home. We have already filed the appropriate paperwork with American Airlines in order to receive a refund for our original tickets. We were told that the flight was canceled due to crew availability. The next available flight back home to Chicago O'Hare was not until Sunday morning. This resulted in us having to find a hotel somewhere in the area, which was extremely difficult given the hour of the day when the flight was cancelled. Eventually, we found an available room at the Holiday Inn express in Midtown, Philadelphia. Prior to taking a taxi ride to our hotel, I stopped at the American Airlines baggage customer service area and spoke to an employee. He instructed me that I should come back at 5 AM, which at this point was only 2.5 hours later, in order to speak with someone and prevent our luggage from being sent on to Portland, Maine without us. I did as I was told, met with the same baggage customer service employee, and was told I had to wait another half an hour. At that point, the employee informed me that our luggage was being taken to the regional terminal, which at PHL, is terminal F. I proceeded to terminal F and spoke with an employee there in the baggage customer service area for American Airlines. This was Mr. Deonte West. He informed me that he would personally remove our luggage and belongings from the cart that it was in and set it aside so that it would not go to Portland, Maine. He instructed me to return around noon that day in order to pick up our luggage, which included one suitcase full of clothing for five family members, medications, diapers, and other necessary daily life supplies. Additionally our double jogging stroller and car seat were being held. When I returned as instructed around noon, that same employee, Mr. West, informed me that our luggage and belongings were sent on to Portland, Maine. I informed Mr. West that I found this to be unacceptable. I did as I was told and instructed at every point along the way. My family which includes three children ages eight months, three years, and six years as well as my wife were now stranded in Philadelphia without any of our belongings or supplies. This was a clearly broken promise by an American Airlines employee. I fully expected to receive monetary compensation in order to correct this grievous mistake. I even HATE giving them one star 'cause the damn don't deserve it. I have a wedding business. Thank God it's Thursday night and not Friday. I was scheduled to leave Huntsville, AL after visiting my family for the holidays. When I got to the airport at 6:30 for my 7:30 flight I was informed that the flight had not even left Chicago...to arrive in Huntsville...at 7 to turn around at 7:30 to take us back to Chicago. Great. I am gonna have to sit for 2 hours until it gets here. So I wait. 30 minutes later I find out our flight is cancelled until.....THE NEXT DAY!!!!!!!!!! I asked WHY the flight was cancelled. You know what they said? Pilot never showed up to fly the plane. Nice, ay? Pilot just NEVER showed up. Don't they have a back up? I have a back up makeup artist if I DON"T show up (but I ALWAYS SHOW UP) They tell us all to come back to the reservations desk. When I go back to ask them if there is any way to get me home they tell me, NO. When I ask to speak to a supervisor, etc, they say there is not one there. Then when I asked for compensation in the form of 2 first class tickets they told me I had to contact customer service. When I asked for the # for customer relations, guess what? THEY DON'T HAVE A PHONE NUMBER FOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU F'IN KIDDING ME!???????? So I come home and get the number to the Aadvantage Program (yes stupid me, I'm a member) I speak to a very rude and unhelpful woman and ask her what to do. She was kinda short and said "well you should be happy, they have you on a flight in the morning" I was shocked. I told her they have NOT LIVED up to their end of the bargain, they have NOT got me to my destination and I am missing a wedding tomorrow and POSSIBLY on Saturday (there is a snow storm coming) because of AA screw up. I DEMAND 2 round trip tickets 1st Class. (If this doesn't ruin my reputation in the wedding business I will be shocked) She told me they will NOT give me round trip tickets...that they did everything they could to and will get me to my destination. TOMORROW. What kills me is that a) the gate agent/ticket agent/front desk whatever didn't even OFFER me a hotel room. b) They didn't offer me any type of compensation in the form of a travel voucher c) They don't have a number I can call to complain d) THEY DIDN"T EVEN SAY "WE ARE SORRY" they told me, well, we can get you on the flight tomorrow and thats the best we can do!!!! Oh.My.God. And American Airlines wonders why they are in Bankruptcy...you won't even TALK to your customers who give you MONEY???????? When I told the reservations lady on the phone that it was an insult as a consumer that I can't talk to someone about my problems.. mega corporations at it's finest. You know what she told me? "well we were getting so many complaints we decided to start having consumers email us" :HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!: I told her, "well i am glad american is doing something right" I am insulted, angry and I plan to call NBC 5 news when I get home to see if my producer friend will run a story on this. I am beyond pissed. This is the only airline that flies to my mom's house direct, but now I am gonna fly to Nashville via Southwest Airlines and have them drive an hour to pick me up. They seem to have a problem determining what gate passengers will be flying out of. Mine changed several times and screens seem slow to update. G1 to k2 is as good walk. Not terrible but not fun to hurry to. read more

Over the last few weeks I e taken multiple flights with American Airlines, and each one has been delayed. The excuse given is always weather related. Yet when you look at other flights with different carriers going the same locations they left on time without any delays due to weather. I have requested multiple times for a phone call from a manager and no response. This has gotten to the point that they don't take into account the valuable time of their customers asking as they get there money. I am giving 0 stars due to the lack of service and any kind of response back from management. read more

My family and I took a trip to Spain. Shortly before departure, American canceled our outbound flight and we had to rebook. Our new route took us through several airports and we were not able to check our luggage all the way through, which was very disappointing and a bit of a hassle. When the entire experience was over, I contacted American to note some disappointment in the travel experience. I was very pleasantly surprised that Americans sent us vouchers as a partial compensation for the travel difficulty. American Airlines also sent by a very nice email apologizing for the inconvenience. Thank you American. It feels good to be listened to, and I am happy that I will be able to give my family a better travel experience with the vouchers that were provided. read more

I returned to Chicago from Ireland on the American Airlines (AA209) on 8/27/19. When I went to pick up my baggage, I was told that it was all out, but I didn't have my baggage, so whenO asked American Air baggage assistant, it was still out so I would wait. Her name is Diana who is employee seems to be doing nothing. She just said wait until your baggage out. Same time Diana is repairing her hair.So I asked the other person who went to look for it immediately,she is very good. But the employee Diana is still fixing her hair. Diana is just stupid from my point view. Are you training properly at American Air baggage assistant? From my point of view,Also Diana did not respect customers.It's better for the company to be training her again soon. read more

I've flown American a lot and I fly a lot (professionally and personally). Last year I probably flew more than 30-40 legs (20 round trips) with American. I usually have carry on but occasionally check. I have not had a bag lost with them, even if it did happen I would think of the thousands of bags they deal with in a single day! Most of the flight attendants were friendly (I wouldn't say warm...), and if they stepped it up just a notch I would give American Airlines 5 stars. I laugh when I read some of these reviews. People write about subjects they know nothing about. Flights delayed due to weather is not an airline's fault...and I see so much of these complaints not only here but for other airlines as well. Not only that, but if the weather looks okay out your window it doesn't necessarily mean it's okay where you're going! Duh... AND bags get lost, deal with it - don't let your emotions take control, yes it sucks, I've had it happen to me on other carriers but I'm not giving them one or two stars because of that. Also, I see reviews on here that give the airline one or two stars and yet they say it was a good experience. What? Lighten up. Enough with the ranting...sorry, but being in the aviation industry and intimately knowing how it works, it's tough to read offhand remarks and comments from know-nothings. read more

This is the WORST AIRLINE EVER! I'm appalled that they call themselves American. You have NO FREEDOM choosing your seats unless you pay for it. You have NO freedom checking in even ONE luggage unless you pay for it. And you have NO FREEDOM of movement im these extremely tight sbd cramped seats! I fly American more than anything since it is not only the cheapest but runs to all the places i go direct from Chicago. Once I reached Gold/Priority access I am able to feel like there is some benefit to patronage: fast security line, earlier boarding, and no baggage charges. Yet still have to deal with the small seats, lack of any food whatsoever, and trashiness of fellow passengers. That being said I can deal with the downsides as long as I can get there fast and cheap. read more

I was flying from Chicago to STL last Monday when Chicago was in the negatives and had just snowed the previous night. My flight was scheduled to take off at 6:30AM. I checked my AA app 100000x the night before and all the way to airport - the news said +300 flights were cancelled from O'Hare! The crew at the desk assured everyone the flight would take off on time - still nervous. They boarded everyone promptly at 6AM, and we took off maaaaybe five minutes late! Thank you to AA and its crew! read more

Oneworld needs to drop AA like it's hot. Its membership insults the likes of BA and CX in this pantheon of standard-bearing carriers. Heathrow/O'Hare: Business class given Samsung tablets for movies in lieu of proper entertainment units; premium headphones produced less-than premium sound and unable to cancel noise - my $20 Sony buds came through for me all 8 hours. Economy had to deal with the 90's style community overhead TVs. Will someone please condemn this old ass 767? Return flight was 3 hours delayed thanks to an engine problem, stuck us all in a replacement 777 straight from the hangar with still-in-progress interior renovation (exposed particle boards, etc) and not-quite fully functioning entertainment units. Climate was also excessively hot and dry. Heathrow/Boston: Slightly better experience but no match for BA or Virgin Atlantic food-, service- and climate-wise. read more

I enjoy AA for the most part - usually pretty comfortable seats and they're usually on time at O'Hare but I really have to complain about the luggage - they've lost my luggage once here. Wish that I could give them 3.5 stars. However, they do have pretty good quality in addition to good prices - love their weekend specials! Found great tickets to New York City for NYE weekend from Chicago for only $160! Edit: They were the easiest airlines to work with for my wedding - I was able to get a special 10% discount for my out of town guests flying into Chicago! They even gave me special inserts to put inside of my invitations. read more

American Eagle is, well...American Airlines...under a different name. They are very cheap to fly on. However, this is the McDonald's of airlines. Nothing high tech, no plugs for devices, no wifi, no snack on short flights, and possibly the smallest plane I have ever been on in my entire life. The cabin, on the inside, was 2 seats across and then 1 on the other side of the aisle. Imagine a honda civic...with wings, and as long as a bus. You have just accurately sized up the width of the airplane. It was so small that my legs couldn't even fit straight downward, and I'm not a fat guy. I pity anyone who has to fly on these guys. Always fly jetblue if you can (and if the price is comparable)...as jetblue is a hell of a lot more comfortable with actual TV + headphones/headphone jack + wifi + many choices of snack foods + as much leg/headroom as an international flight. read more

I haven't flown on a lot of other airlines so I don't know how they compare. I'll just talk about what I thought they did good and bad. Good: -Two drink services for longer flights (to Seattle) with a fairly large drink selection -Friendly service -Easy on-line check-in system and can easily change your seat Bad: -Flight was delayed but we were given no reason (thankfully a lot of this time was made up in flight) -I've had issues with them cancelling flights and then doing a poor job notifying about the cancellation, leaving my poor mom scrambling at the last minute -No announcements about connections (especially helpful when you have been delayed and have short layovers). I realize almost everyone has a smartphone these days, but it is still helpful read more

I wanted to write this review as soon as I got back, but I have been busy until now. United Ground department, I hope Samir didn't get in trouble for spending an extensive time helping a customer. His compassionate ways have made my mom's relocation possible. I highly encourage recognition of such working ethics. Good workers make great companies. It was the weekend of May 30, 2026, flight # UA2373. My mom was a frail disabled senior over 80 years old. I came to NY to fly her to CA, as she had been requesting. The flight was long, she got very tired and became very difficult to deal with. She was walking around the area with a cane, being uncooperative with me. She found Samir Mezzi and got very comfortable with him. She only trusted him and no one else. Samir was on duty but was very willing to help her. My flight was close to departure when she refused to enter the TSA checkpoint for the security screening process. When I explained to him the situation, he didn't hesitate to help, he was very determined to successfully help us fly. After some time spent being patient with my mom, he called his colleagues to figure out some ways. They figured to team up and help us out. There were several of them, from various departments. They comforted her, were gentle and patient with her. They even bought her a soda. The TSA checkpoint was successful. The manager of United Airlines came and offered solutions to the challenging situation, of a complimentary onsite hotel stay or delay it, in wanting to help make the flight an easier and more comfortable experience. She was also very patient and genuine. We passed the TSA checkpoint and went on with proceeding to the check-in gate. I wanted to let her know of my decision, but it would be a hassle and leave my mom for a moment to come back to talk to her. So, I didn't. I hope she understands. But I did speak to her about my appreciation. Samir kindly helped my mom all the way until she was seated on the plane. He said some comforting kind words to her before he left. We appreciate everything he has done. My mom is now happy and healthier living in CA with me. Congratulations to United Ground for having such a stella worker. He well represented the department and the airline. Thank you, Samir, his coworkers, United Airline manager, United Ground, and United Airlines for making it possible. Much appreciated.

Flight was direct from Chicago to Shannon and was supposed to leave at 6pm but kept getting delayed due to mechanical issues. Fast forward over 8 hours and multiple delays they cancelled the flight. Saw the crew leaving the plane so we knew we were going to fly however they took forever to cancel it because nobody has any authority. Seems like this is normal for United to give people zero power so they can pass the buck. They had no hotel rooms in inventory so everybody had to fend for themselves. People ended up sleeping on the airport floor. I paid for a direct flight and upgraded seat and neither of them will happen when we hopefully are able to reach our destination over a day later. Thank you for giving my a fifteen dollar voucher for food so I can buy a coffee and a doughnut. Your net promoter score is a zero and if I could give zero stars I would. Customer service didn't care about any of my concerns.

An airport isn't necessarily a place to enjoy yourself, but in the event you have to do so, your choices are minimal here.

Leading up to our trip, we kept receiving email confirmations that everything was on time no issues at all. Then, the moment we arrived at the airport, we were blindsided with an email saying our flight was CANCELLED. No warning. No heads-up. Just canceled. The only options given were to rebook or take a refund. The earliest available rebooking wasn't until Tuesday, which completely ruined our plans, so we were forced to take a refund and book last-minute tickets with United Airlines costing us significantly more money out of pocket. We were told our baggage would be transferred to our return flight, which added to the confusion and stress. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. On our way back from Puerto Rico, we were scheduled again for a 12:29 PM flight. Throughout the day, we kept getting delay notifications one after another until the last update pushed the flight all the way to 2:59 AM. We waited, checked in, and then unbelievably the flight was CANCELLED again. At that point, there was little to no help from staff. We were told to go to the Spirit desk, leaving us scrambling around the airport, trying to figure out how to retrieve our luggage from baggage claim, rebook flights, and then go back through TSA all over again. It was chaotic, exhausting, and completely disorganized. Once again, no available flights until Monday or Tuesday. Rebooking with Spirit would have meant more delays, more uncertainty, and more money wasted with zero guarantee the flight wouldn't be canceled AGAIN. So we had no choice but to request another refund and book with United Airlines spending even more money just to get home. This entire experience was stressful, expensive, and completely avoidable with proper communication and customer support. Spirit Airlines showed zero reliability and zero accountability. Never EVER flying with Spirit again. The "cheap" price is not worth the headache, the risk, or the extra costs you'll end up paying in the end. Huge thanks to United Airlines for actually getting us home safely.

I had to remind myself that I once flew with Spirit Airlines to New Orleans, Louisiana for crying out loud. And most know that Spirit does not have the best reputation. As for my airport experience, surprisingly, TSA was not crowded at all! Other than my carry-on bag being checked due to me having toothpaste check-in went smooth. At the time, I chuckled with personnel because I knew clearly what it was but leave it to hard-headed me for packing it, hehe. As for the flight gate, it took me forever to find it due to lack of signage. As mentioned, I have never flown JetBlue, so the terminal was one I had never visited. What threw me off was the fact that the only terminal 2 signage I saw was for baggage claim. Eeek! I nearly missed boarding, but I kept on moving until I found the JetBlue gate. Now as for my onboard experience, I wanted to charge my phone as I slept on flight because my phone battery was low. I found that there were no power outlets at all which left me with no other option but to preserve my battery as much as I can enroute. I have to point out that it was unpleasant smelling smoke as the plane prepared to lift off from Chicago, Illinois. It was then, I started to take notice of how outdated everything appeared on this plane as my melatonin kicked in. I slept the majority of the flight, so I had little communication with the flight attendants other than the boarding flight hello, a flight attendant asking me if I wanted a snack as I woke up briefly, and the airplane departure goodbye greeting. And as for the airplane interior, the seat comfort was decent! I did have an acceptable amount of leg room, even with my backpack underneath the seat in front of me. I did love the image of the airplane hovering over states on the seatback television which I could not help but notice while awake. In spite of what the plane did not have, it did have access to XM radio stations & Direct TV channels. I survived this flight with JetBlue and would be open to flying with again, as well as recommending to a friend, relative or colleague after this experience. Dear Yelp Customers: If you want drama, lies and bullshit then buy your tickets at American Airlines! I fly alot and have flown throughout the country with relatively no issues beyond the regular hiccups. I'm not one that writes in to complain but this one was too good not to share as a warning to any potential customers of American Airlines. I had my flight set for Sunday, August 30th, 2011, via American Airlines to fly from Phoenix, Arizona back to Chicago's O'hare airport. My wife called me first thing Saturday, August 29th, 2011, stating she needed me back because she was sick and needed to go to the hospital and i needed to get back to watch the kids. We have two small children 2 yr. old and 6 month old. I packed up and headed straight for the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. I tried using my phone via the internet to book a flight or change my flight but internet reception was not moving from page to page very well. The taxi cab dropped me off in front of the american airlines check in area. I proceeded to get into line to talk to a customer service representative. After waiting in line for 55 minutes please keep in mind there were only 3 people in front of me but the agents were moving as slow as molasses with a horrible attitude to boot. I finally was served and had hopes of getting on the noon flight back to Chicago. I explained i had a ticket for the next day but needed to book a flight back today and preferred to get on the next flight back to chicago. The agent took my ticket and called someone via a 1-800-# to get permission to change my flight. This took another 15 minutes. I know this because i was getting dangerously close to my 45 minute cut off for the TSA to get on my flight. The agent told me that corporate said that my ticket wasn't worth anything so it couldn't be applied to a transfer. I'm not sure about that. I paid $175 for the ticket. Irregardless, I needed to get back home so i asked how much would a ticket be to get back home. The ticket was $453.70! Anyone that has children knows that you will do about anything for your kids so i agreed to pay for the ticket. As soon as the agent was done booking the ticket she said you can go but your bag cannot go on the plane. I said, "What?" she continued that the flight was no longer accepting bags and oh by the way your next flight back to chicago isn't for another 6 hours so i will bump you to that one. I told her no way that was unacceptable. i needed to get on that flight or to cancel the transaction. The customer service representative said she would cancel the purchase and refund it to my account. For those keeping track i paid $175 for a sunday flight that i didn't take and $453.70 for another saturday, August 29th, 2011, flight that i didn't take because American Airlines customer service representatives are incompetent to say the least. American Airlines now has $628.70 of my money but never have i flown on a their planes back to Chicago. I left the american airlines check in counter after the customer service representative stated three times she would cancel my ticket and refund my money. This obviously never happened thus the fact why im writing this to warn all potential customers of american airlines that their agents lie and never follow through but they will definitely take your money! A long story short i have tried to get my money back and have received resistance from American Airlines so i'm going to make sure that everyone knows what a bunch of lying deuschebags i have been dealing with in hopes to prevent future customers from working with or purchasing their airline tickets through american airlines. The day for me was very stressful to know that my wife was ill to the point she needed medical attention and that my kids were going to hospital with her while i was in Phoenix trying to get back home. The agents for American Airlines did not make it any easier by taking my money and lying to me. I'm working on getting reimbursed and i will be filing a lawsuit against American Airlines to recapture my money and time lost wasted trying to get my money back from these losers. Whatever happened to doing the right thing? I found my way over to the US AIRWAYS desk at the phoenix airport i explained my situation and within 15 minutes i was going through TSA heading towards my gate to get home. I used to fly American Airlines and have a mileage card with them but i will not be flying American Airlines ever again. If you have children you know how i feel. You will do almost anything for your kids and you support businesses that are family orientated that help families. I was in a desperate situation to get home and received a bag full of drama and excuses from American Airlines and lost $683.70 in the process. Well, the nice attendant decided that it was ok and that she would just go scan my passport at her computer. Well, as she's scanning my passport, the General Manager of American Airlines @ O'hare walks behind her. And mind you, this GM is a monster. 6'2/6'3, blonde, blue eyes, intimidating lady, mid forties, wreaks of the Chicago burbs and Limbaugh. Put differently, she's the soccer mom who will run you the fuck over. Well she snatches my passport right out of the attendants hand, comes up to me and says "sir, you are not flying today." We ask her why, and she just says that it's her call, and that she doesn't have to accept anyone with a damaged passport. Well my prof pulls out her insanely water damaged passport and the not-so-friendly giant tells her how lucky she is that she isn't pulling her off the flight, and that she be thankful. At this point my prof and I start to internally panic, but I quickly come up with a solution. I have my Israeli passport back at home, I can go grab that and take the next flight out. Everyone agrees that, that is acceptable, and my flight is changed to later that day. I make the trek from O'hare back to downtown, go to my apartment, get my passport and head back to the airport. I excitedly show the same attendant my Israeli passport, and guess who creep ups behind her. The blonde giant. Again, she snatches the passport out of her hand, flips through it, looks at me and says "yeah sir you won't be flying today, not with this passport." Well by now I'm just in shock, I don't know what to say anymore. There was a 1cm tear on one of the passport pages. This was apparently grounds to send me back home, again. But then I decided to get creative. I took my passport's to the TSA office, found the head honcho and asked him if he would have any scruples about letting me through, and onto my flight with either my ratty or good passport's. He said that they were both fine; had I only had my chewed up American, I'd just need a second form of ID for verification which I of course had. So I decide to bring him along with me to notify the AA GM that she is being incredibly unreasonable. Before he can even get a word out, she turns bright red and starts screaming at both of us. She threatens to call the cops on me, tells me that I should be thankful that she's protecting myself and everyone else from terrorists by not letting me on the plane, she threaten's to cancel my ticket, and to also charge me the difference for having to move to a later flight. Well then I walk away, there's nothing left I can do. Apparently I'm a dangerous atheist jew w/ a beard whose hell bent on keeping her from protecting her country. So I go downstairs to the carrousels, sit on the phone with AA booking for an hour and finally convince them to rebook me a flight for the morning--keep in mind blondey all together canceled my booking--as long as I was aware that I could get turned away once again. Well, I trek back to downtown to chill at home for a while, head back to the airport a few hours later, and make it through check-in and security like it's nobody else's business. 7hr flight to London. 6hrs worth of a travel time between downtown Chicago and O'Hare. On 9/23/19 My wife and I had a flight to Mobile al.departing at 8pm. It was cancelled with no reason given. I was sent an email and text at 6:29pm that we were being rerouted to Mobile thru Dallas Tx on a flight that left at 5:58 thirty minutes before we received the Text. We were given a hotel voucher for the night and (1) one $12 meal voucher each for (3) Three meals Dinner on 9/23 and Breakfast and Lunch on 9/24 as our new flight was at 1250 on 9/24. We could not eat off of Mc'donalds dollar menu for that. Dinner on 9/23 was 49.78 plus tip. Our Breakfast was 18.56 plus tip Lunch. Our lunch at the airport was 34.98 plus tip. No alcohol was consumed as we are not consumers of alcohol. I also have to pay an additional parking day at Mobile $10. We had 3 tickets to a Paw Patrol concert in Mobile to take our grandson $ 67 each. It took place at 10am the time we were still in Charlotte waiting for our 12:50 pm rescheduled flight. The real issue is trying to explain to a 3-year-old he did not get to see Paw Patrol a show he had been anxiously awaiting because a company has to pay their CEO 12 million dollar a year and some bean counter figured out a way to save a few dollars at the inconvenience a few passengers. My wife is handicapped and had to go thru TSA check again. The extra time standing is very hard on her as she has had back and knee surgery. She also suffers from mental health issue anxiety related and her medicine was on our checked bags as she only had enough on her carry on for the day. There were 2 earlier flights that we were not given an opportunity to book that because I had booked this flight with points which obviously affected the rebooking options. It should be noted that the points used were from being a loyal American Airline customer in the past. I must emphasize from the past as I will only fly American as a last resort in the future. When we arrived at Mobile a day late our luggage was not on the plane. The counter clerk in Mobile was a poorly trained employee that could not determine where our bags were. She provided a 1 800 # and we reported our bags delayed/lost. After I call the number provide it was determined our bags were in the Mobile airport. We were told they would be delivered after 6:30 pm as that was the last delivery run of the day. The next Day Wednesday 9/25 I again called about our bags. I was told they were in Mobile airport and they would call when the lost baggage office opened. There is not a lost baggage office for AA in the airport only Delta has an office to address lost baggage on site. The personal at the ticket counter handle lost bag status as there are employees there at 5:30 am to handle the 4 flights that leave before 10am. I guess multitasking is not a skill required of your employees. Again, I was told my bags would be delivered that day. At 5:30 pm I called again praying my bags would make the 6:30 run but they did not. My bags were finally delivered at 11am CST after calling again Thursday morning. I first tried to file a complaint thru your website. The first attempt I was timed out as I was composing the complaint. I logged on again and this time there was a character limit on your complaint. I am very disappointed that we were used to increase your corporate profits as plane was probably cancelled due to not enough ticket sold to maximize your profit. First, and without any forewarning to me, a major change was made to my flight leaving on 5/31 from MEM. I was supposed to leave at 5:03PM, the flight was changed to 9:03AM on a different flight. Had I not caught it, it would have been a major inconvenience for me. Not only that, but then I was told "I" would have to pay an additional $200+ if I wanted to switch to a different flight that would leave later in the afternoon. That is complete BS. I didn't ask for the flight change, AA did that. To make matters worse, when I tried to explain the situation to the customer service rep who had a very heavy foreign accent, I finally had to hang up because I couldn't understand a word out of his mouth. I then called the agency through whom I had originally planned the trip. Had it not been for them, I would've had to pay for a change I did not request to get, a flight at least closer to my original departure time. Second, AA has the policy that you can take "2 Items" onto the plane with you but one must be stored under the seat in front of you and the other in the compartment above your seat, which I always do. There are also size constraints for the two items. The onboarding AA employee at the gate had requested several times that folks who had wheels on their luggage to please come forward to have their bag stored for free as there wasn't a lot of storage room on the plane. On my flight from Chicago O'Hare to Manchester NH, there were two young men who sat behind me who were upset with me because I put my laptop in the compartment above and and had starting saying things like, "she stored her "f-ing laptop when it should be under her "f-ing seat!" They continued these comments for several minutes. But what really upset me was, the Stewardess also gave me a hard time and wanted me to put the laptop under the seat in front of me but I couldn't, my purse was there. 1) the instruction was for "2 Items" of a particular size, not bags, purses or what have you, but "2 items, I followed the rules! Second, I had to listen to these two disgusting young men cursing and being extremely rude for better part of 15 minutes while the stewardess did nothing to calm them or help the situation. They were also very rude to an elderly man who mistakenly took the window seat assigned to them, the stewardess wasn't much help with that situation either so I asked the elderly gentleman what his seat number was, and resolved the issue for him. I have always used AA for my flights to/from TN but going forward, I will do my best NOT to ever use their service again. Those young men should have been corrected and weren't and I was made to feel embarrassed for doing the right thing. read more

Terrible Experience with American Airlines Mishandling of Luggage Ruined our Anniversary Trip I am writing this review to expressed my extreme disappointment and frustration with American Airlines mishandling up our luggage, which completely ruined our long anticipated anniversary trip to Jamaica. The way they handled the situation was absolutely unacceptable and left a lasting negative impact on our experience. To begin with, our luggage never arrived at our destination, despite assuredness from the airline that it would be delivered promptly. As a result, my husband and I were left without any clothing to wear for the entirety of our anniversary trip. We had to spend money to purchase swimwear, t-shirts and toiletries, but it was incredibly embarrassing and uncomfortable to be dressed in the same clothes for days on end, especially during special occasions and romantic dinners. The airlines failure to deliver our luggage had a significant impact on our enjoyment of the trip. Upon contacting American Airlines, we were appalled by their lack of concern and professionalism. He offered us Amir $434.15, and a $200 flight credit as compensation for the entire trip, which is an insult, considering the income is in distress we endured. This amount is far from sufficient to cover the cost of replacing our belongings and the emotional toll it took on us. To make matters worse, we received our luggage only one day after returning home. This further exemplifies, the airlines and competence in this regard for their customers needs. By the time we received our belongings, it was too late, and the damage it already been done. Our anniversary trip, which was supposed to be a joyous and memorable occasion, turned into a nightmare. I strongly advise against using American Airlines for any future travel plans. The mishandling of our luggage, lack of empathy, and an adequate compensation has left a deeply disappointed and disillusioned. We expect better service from a reputable airline, especially when it comes to handling such crucial aspects of travel. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I sighed, I have only one name that is as good as it gets :-) I was telling him that the Al-Fursan was so slow that I couldn't do online check-in and select seats. He was kind of hard to understand. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again. read more

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding the conduct of a flight attendant during my recent flight with [American Airline] flight number [Flight #3228][05/20/2025] From the beginning of the flight, the attendant in question displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude toward me, which stood in stark contrast to how they interacted with other passengers. When I politely asked for questions with seating or to use the bathroom in front , I was met with curt responses and visible irritation, while other passengers around me were treated with patience and courtesy. What was even more concerning was the pattern of behavior that strongly suggested racial bias. I noticed that passengers of a similar background to mine were repeatedly overlooked or treated with less respect, while others received warm, helpful service. This behavior made me feel marginalized, unwelcome, and deeply uncomfortable throughout the flight. Air travel should be a safe and respectful experience for all passengers, regardless of race or ethnicity. No one should have to endure discrimination, especially from airline staff whose role is to ensure comfort and safety. I urge the airline to look into this matter seriously. Training in diversity, inclusion, and basic customer service should be a non-negotiable standard for all employees, particularly those in direct contact with customers. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that no other passenger has to go through a similar experience.
