    First, don't be a chump like me and pay for your bag. I didn't want to be 'that guy' I didn't want to be 'that guy' who brained people putting my bag into the overhead bin before the flight and braining them again afterward. I didn't want to be 'that guy' racing through the airport, banging into everyone with my luggage as I inevitably traveled at top speed betwixt gates to get to my connection. Everyone is awful and it is worse when you're flying. Little things you could do to consider the people around you: speaking softly, being clean, confining yourself to your assigned space, ensuring your child's contentment so they're not carrying on and kicking other travelers, and not being a loud, profane drunk at four thirty in the morning are routinely tossed in the bin as you go through TSA. Don't be dumb, don't pay the bag fee. They'll load your bag for free when you get to the gate and check it to your final destination and that's not it, you don't need to go endure the luggage carousel at the end of your trip because they hand it right to you on the jet way when you land! I am profoundly stupid for not just dragging that bag behind me and running into infirm oldsters and disabled veterans as I careened about the airport between terminals. Second, pack a snack if you think you'll need one. Not only does American Airlines think that a grown adult only needs half a soda over a four hour trip they also don't think at the price of your ticket a wee bag of pretzels or peanuts is in the budget. You can BUY snacks from them but since I mortgaged one of my kids so as not to be an inconsiderate traveler I didn't want to go further into debt for some trail mix or whatever. There's a lot about flying not to like. There's nothing you can do about it but there are things American could do: 1. If someone's being drunk and obnoxious on the plane I shouldn't have to say something from twenty-five seats away 2. If someone has to check their bag at the gate you could charge them, and honestly they know what they're doing: charge them double OR refund my money 3. Have procedures in place to ensure traveler comfort in the case of bad parenting. Parenting is apparently so difficult that you can't even apologize when your kid kicks someone. Some sort of action plan so that those of us who are informed about contraception can enjoy their flight as best they can and not be in physical pain days later 4. Truncate your boarding groups, you have too many. Board the old, the infirm, the very young, and those you feel are special but how many groups of that do you need? I don't see myself flying American again because, even in Louisville, there are better choices.

We got the romance package which included champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, a voucher for the restaurant, and late checkout. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We were always greeted with a smile by all employees. Erica (I hope I remembered correctly) the hostess at the restaurant went above and beyond and was sweet enough to take beautiful pictures of my husband and I. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back!

He is supposed to represent the company in a positive light, but instead, he made many people angry. He discriminated against white people. I am going to request compensation for this behavior.

However you are allowed a purse or laptop bag for free. My second oldest daughter was cheering in Disney and had practice late on a Tuesday night and her team wanted her down there on a wednsday. Us being a family of 7 making a 13 hour drive in one day is a no go. So my wife and my other 4 daughters made the drive towards Atlanta on a Tuesday and me and my cheer daughter flew down direct wednsday morning. Worked out as the only thing we needed on the flight was a phone charger and that fits in her purse. So spirits cheaper boarding worked out perfect for our scenario. The flight itself was smooth and comfortable. They do not offer complimentary snacks or beverages or any form of tv entertainment however this was a 2 hour flight so we didn't need that. Overall we had a good and cheap experience. Would definitely use in as Similar situation in the future.

When I got home I was asked to take my damaged luggage back to the airport again. When am I going to get a resolution to my problem? I am really frustrated with their customer service reps. Has anyone else had this problem with Spirit?
