But we decided to leave him there. We didn't have an appointment but lucky us someone didn't show up. They were happy to take him in. They called us about 45 minutes later telling us that it would be hard to give him a lion cut because his hair on top was matted. It was nice that they called and gave us grooming options. When we picked him up. He was happy to see us of course. The report card stated he did really good. I inspected him and saw no irritation or red marks. When we paid, the cashier was great. She tried to give our dog a treat but he was more interested in his new squeaky toy. I'd come back!

The "groomer" cut her dew claw on her back foot almost completely off. This was after 2 hours of her being there and they hadn't even bathed her or anything. She had the surgery and then had to be recovered. What should have been a 2 hour max grooming appointment turned into 7 hours until she could be picked up at the vet. And they didn't even ask what vet we normally use! Then today she was nauseated and vomited 9 times in a hour which led to an overnight stay for dehydration. I will never ever take my dog back inside the doors of a PetSmart and I don't plan on ever shopping there again either.

I love the wild prairie dogs where I live in North Lubbock. Today I was outside and I saw a white…read morepickup with the words "Lubbock Prairie Dog Department" logo on the side of the door. I saw a man laying down flat, he appeared dead or injured. I went over to see if he needed help. He jumped up and yelled out to me. I couldn't hear him so he drove over to me. The white pickup truck had a water tank in back with a hose. He had a cage in the front seat. I thought he was poisoning them. He stated that he was flushing them out to catch the babies. I told him that the babies need their mother. He said "not anymore" He said that he sells them to Walter's world of Pets.I told him Walter's was the worse. I told him that this was illegal and asked for his name but he refused to give it. I went back to get my cell phone to get pictures but he took off before I could get back. I called animal services, texas parks and wildlife rangers, as well as the police to make a report. I also called Walter's and asked where they buy their prairie dogs and the guy on the phone answered trappers. When I went on my speel, a lady grabbed the phone out of his hand and stated "we buy them from a mating facility" the first store clerk had already told me the truth. So if you own a prairie dog, think about how it was stolen from it's mother right out of nature. Walter's is a horrible place. Wildlife deserves to be free.

Every time…read moreI go in there I go look for the bully sticks, which are not in correct Ben and I get charged a different price every time I'm always arguing of what they charged me and I always look for a discount in my email and they always tell me that nothing applies and when I get home, I find one that does apply but it's too late to use it. I'm not gonna go to that store on 34th and slide no more because I don't feel it's professional enough. I asked for a discount and she told me she could not give me one but previously I was given one I'm gonna go back to the one on 82nd only because I feel they care and they're more concerning of how happy they want you to walk out the door. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me there was one that was not available at the time.
