Didn't grow much though...There were rocks everywhere but I see they have cleaned up some. Bf cut his toe on one of the rocks during a game. The sand is not beach sand. It's construction sand...Sometimes it can get dirty with cigaret butts everywhere, empty beer bottles, dog poop, and random trash. I still have a couple of complaints: Their refs are not all on the same page. Some things are counted off and some are getting by with other refs. The blonde ref does not pay attention when she is working. She texts and drinks beer...not looking at the game. The bald ref counts EVERYTHING! if your hand is not completely together hitting a serve ball, you are done, son! he stops the game all the time and it gets annoying because we just want to play. We are not pros!!!! Another complaint is customer service: I ordered four burgers with my groupon. It took him 45 mins to bring them out. Ordered at 5:30pm, came out at 6:15pm. My game was at 6:15pm. I inhaled my burger in 30 seconds because I had a game. Instead of putting in my order when he was suppose to, he chose to eat his first before putting my orders in. Then forgot about it and came back out to ask me again. I told two different guys the same order three different times. I told him twice and once more to the guy in the back. The burgers were salty when they came out! I asked him about my order after 30 mins past. He told me it'll be ready when it's ready. That's really awesome customer service, guys....NOT!

Biggest bone to pick with Bahama Beach is they sometimes close without notice (such as the day after rain) without so much as a note on the door or an updated answering machine message. Today is such a day; I'll be taking my group across the street to Yucatan instead.

Although I was a member of LifeTime Fitness several years ago I recently rejoined (February 26)…read morejust for the purpose of improving my health. I hired a personal trainer, Tatiana Morales, who, step by step, really turned me into a new person. I was able to convert fat to muscle, increase my stamina, improve my attitude and sleep better. On top of that, she even designed a workout program for me to follow when we were not actually having a workout session. A beautiful, clean facility, with smart, knowledgeable and fun trainers like Tatiana make LifeTime Fitness Las Colinas a great place to start improving and changing your life for the better

Life Time Las Colinas means a lot to me. As a Day 1 member, I've spent countless hours there over…read morethe last two years since its opening. In many areas, the club shines - its strength and conditioning equipment, instructors, and health programming are unmatched and, most importantly, I've met great people. As good as the club is, and no doubt, great things are happening there, it's really expensive - and the last several months I have constantly been questioning if I should be paying what I do. I mentioned in my first review in July I felt the club was slipping. No question I have, and deserve to have, the highest expectations for this place but that comes from them. They promise us an "athletic country club" experience and charge for it - so I expect them to deliver. Over the last year, this club has been dealing with a serious member trend related to its big ticket item - the men's rejuvenation suite in the locker room, consisting of a hot tub, cold plunge, dry sauna, and wet sauna. Quite often, it's a wreck - as are other sections of the locker room. Wet towels and trash crumpled on the floor and in seating areas and in corners around this section of the club. There's sludge on sections of the floor at night after the big rush. Many of the men members of this club are acting like slobs - and Life Time isn't keeping up. I feel like the maintenance crew tries hard, but I've also seen them blow past the suite without even sticking their head in for a status check - as if they have other priorities than one of their biggest competitive advantages when it comes to amenities. I really feel like Life Time without this is mostly a four- or five-star facility - but this issue knocks it down several pegs. It's exhausting.

One gets the feeling they are trying to maximize profits by squeezing as many games/courts as humanly possible. They also try to insist that you buy all of your food and drink from their little food window. As if bringing your own preferred Gatorade flavor there will break their bank. Pffftt.

I recently had the opportunity to experience Sportsplex facilities, and unfortunately, my overall…read moreimpression was deeply disappointing. This review is intended to provide constructive feedback based on my observations, as there are several areas where significant improvement is needed. To begin, the facility itself feels outdated and neglected. The infrastructure appears to have seen little to no updates in recent years, resulting in a worn and uninviting atmosphere. This is particularly evident in the condition of the floors, which are poorly managed and maintained. Uneven surfaces, visible dirt, and general disrepair detract from any sense of professionalism or care for the space a dingy old net that separates the basketball and volleyball courts that looks very unprofessional and not good on the eyes compared to other gyms looks very sloppy much like rest of gym. Financially, the company gives off the impression of being more focused on profit than providing value. The pricing structure feels disproportionate to the quality offered, especially when compared to other local facilities. This "money-grabbing" approach leaves customers feeling undervalued and taken advantage of rather than supported or appreciated. When benchmarking Sportsplex against competitors, it falls drastically short. For instance, if you're looking to play volleyball, I would strongly recommend heading to TAV at Star Center instead. Not only do they offer superior coaching, but their facilities are modern, clean, and well-maintained--everything this location lacks. The disparity in quality is stark and undeniable. And the Owner is super friendly. Customer service is another significant concern. The owner's demeanor was a particular low point during my visit. Interactions were marked by rudeness and an unpleasant attitude, which made addressing issues or seeking assistance an uncomfortable experience. This lack of professionalism from leadership sets a poor tone for the entire operation. And spills over to his staff. As they left me at the counter unattended as they chatted and were on phones only to be rude to me as they had talked the owner. Apple doesn't fall far from tree on this. Hygiene is yet another area of concern. The bathrooms were consistently in disarray--dirty, unkempt, and lacking basic supplies. This level of neglect is unacceptable for any public-facing business and reflects poorly on the management's priorities. Additionally, the parking lot raises safety concerns. The presence of homeless individuals living in the area, combined with a complete lack of security at the location, creates an unsettling environment for visitors. Without any visible measures to ensure safety, customers are left feeling vulnerable and unprotected. Lot of thefts from this especially in evening times. In summary, Sportsplex struggles with outdated infrastructure, poor maintenance, questionable business practices, subpar customer service, and inadequate safety measures. Compared to other options in the area, it fails to even compare.
