Why aren't drivers penalized for canceling rides after the customer waits over 10 minutes and why isn't the customer given a notification or heads up about a ride canceled. I have to literally check my phone over and over until the driver arrives and again could cancel at any moment. Now I'm here with no cab , 25 minutes wasted and literally getting in the bus that was 30 mins away I was trying to avoid waiting for. Not to mention all their drivers are friends and family without proper TLC. I'm new to the Bronx and don't know too many car services. Please don't use them. After making two separate efforts to clarify why Precision's price quote was so high and why the Lowest Price Guarantee wasn't being honored, I went with another company. And, I'm really happy that I did. The company that earned my business, was not only comparable, but, in my opinion even superior. Muhammad's response appears to indicate that the companies that gave me price quotes were somehow inferior. Precision has been in business 18 years, and the company I went with has been in business longer. Precision's price quote was much higher than the competition and was for a Cadillac or Volvo sedan, not the beautiful new black SUV that picked up my girlfriend. Lastly, the professional chauffer that was our driver, was impeccably dressed in a black suit and tie. Our driver had over 30 years experience as a licensed, professional chauffer. This gentleman even showed up 25 minutes early! What an incredible experience! Muhammad, I truly appreciate your response and your generous offer. The purpose of this updated review was to clarify that the company that we went with, was not inferior in any way. For some reason, you referenced Uber or a taxi service in your response. Some drivers are very good, and some others can be rude and don't listen to you...particularly if you are female. My disgust is mostly with their app. It does not always work for me. I a not sure why. The dispatchers are the rude ones...they do not let you talk to them. They will hang up before you get a chance to say anything, but I have also experienced this with other cab companies. When the dispatcher finally answered, he was completely unprofessional, continuously calling me "sweetie" over the phone, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Despite the terrible phone etiquette, he explicitly quoted me a guaranteed flat-rate of $170 cash for the long-distance trip. On the day of the ride, the scam began. The driver sent a link where the screen suddenly showed $200 instead of the promised $170. Then, once he actually arrived at my house in a black Toyota Highlander SUV, he aggressively changed the price yet again, demanding $250. Because all of my heavy bags, my mom, and my sister were already packed and trapped, he blackmailed us into paying $80 over our original phone agreement when we had no other choice. To make matters worse, the driver mentioned his daughter went to Princeton University, so you would think he would have some empathy for a stressful college move-in day. He didn't care at all.
