Lana is so skilled and so professional. Not only did she give me a fantastic cut and blowout, but during some conversation while cutting the hair I mentioned potentially wanting baliage later on to camouflage grays (because this is some advice circulating in my social circles as an alternative to traditional coloring). The amount of professionalism and respect was above and beyond because Lana paused and looked at my hair and said "you don't have that many... but balayage would not help you could do something much simpler. No need to spend hundreds on that unless you want to lighten your hair. For gray coverage alone... no reason to put your hair through that" I literally handed her a massive upsell on a silver platter and she politely educated me. I felt so respected and grateful. Salons are so notorious for upselling and for her to actually give me practical skill based advice even if it wasn't the best for short term revenue.... That is a rare find of integrity and skill. Once I have the time to schedule a coloring appointment I will obviously be going here and trust her 100% to guide me to the best option. Lana has been my hair stylist for last 4 years. My hair is hard cut and style because it's very straight so it requires a lot of skill and patience from a hair stylist. I cannot recommend Lana and her salon highly enough. Our long time stylist left his salon and my husband, son and I were in desperate need of a haircut. After a disastrous experience at a different salon in fidi, my husband and I made appointments with Lana on the recommendation of few friends. We could not be happier with our haircuts. She is very professional, pleasant and extremely skilled at cutting both men and women's hair. She even graciously agreed to cut our almost 7 yo son's hair even though her salon is not a children's salon. The salon is very clean, has a great atmosphere and is very airy and pleasant to be in. I wish I could give this place NO STARS. I came here to get a last minute hair cut and showed Lana what I wanted. As she began cutting my hair she then went on a wild racist rant and I sat there in utter disbelief. I'm guessing she thought I wouldn't get offended and agree with her because I'm white?! It was truly bizarre. I was flat out disgusted but I couldn't do much with one side of my hair chopped off. In the end my hair looked nothing like it was supposed to. Lana has been my stylist for 10 years now! I usually go to her every 4-5 days for a blow dry, color every 6 weeks and a haircut, 3-4 times a year. There are not many business owners that would or could take a chance on moving locations and opening a bigger and absolutely gorgeous new salon, in the middle of Covid. Lana was able to do it successfully because she works incredibly hard, 7 days a week and takes pride in running a wonderful, professional, inviting salon. She followed ALL COVID rules/laws for masking and social distancing during Covid and made me feel comfortable and safe. Lana is extremely talented and precise when it comes to making her clients happy. In 10 years I have never walked out without a BIG smile on my face!!! I can't recommend Lana enough! The stylist understood exactly the cut I was looking for and checked in a lot to make sure we were on the same page about what she was doing. Completely messed up my hair. I came in for a simple root touch up, ended up leaving with three different colors in my hair. On top of that, she made me dry my own hair. Yes, you read that right, she made me dry my own hair. She didn't charge me because she knew it was a blunt mistake. But still, I'm going to have to cough up at least $300 to fix this someplace else.
