As the mattress is a discontinued item, Diane scoured the database to find me the best option in another store, and we landed in a floor model that was only on the floor for a few months. Now to the issue I experienced, but was ENTIRELY made whole from. On the day of delivery, I was given a much thinner mattress (9" vs 12") and the name on the tag was incorrect (some other model starting with a C). Upon viewing, feeling and sitting on the bed, I told the delivery crew that it was incorrect. They basically mansplained to me that I was mistaken.... Which is absolute nonsense. They refused to take back the mattress, and I immediately called Diane who drummed up a very fortuitous solution: free pillows and the correct mattress. At the end of the day, I have my incredible Carina mattress, Diane is an ABSOLUTE professional and a total doll, and I have 2 free pillows for the inconvenience. I've been a customer of Sit N Sleep for 5+ years and this has been the first issue I've ever had, which was resolved quite expertly and swiftly. After two weeks we called as we never heard back from them. They told us it's not covered because it's cosmetic. So much for the warranty. To us this is a manufacturing defect issue. It was Columbus Day weekend so we were hoping to get some great deals. We didn't need anything elaborate and only needed a twin. The cheapest twin we could find was $400 (without the set!) We thought it couldn't be a legit add but decided to stop and look any way and we are so glad that we did! Not only did we end up getting the bed here, we ended up buying out couches.
