I had also come across many other customer complaints describing delayed deliveries, damaged furniture, missing parts, and poor "white glove delivery" experiences where customers reportedly had to help third-party delivery workers assemble items themselves. Despite my cancellation request being made before shipment, the company continued giving vague responses claiming the order was "moving further along" while refusing to provide tracking details or issue a refund. The firmness was just right and the softness of the material is very nice. We wanted to replace the couch because the material of the original was no longer available. So we went with ordering the same length couch but in a material that will compliment the love seat. The customer service is great. It made for ordering our couch quick and easy as well. We were immediately stopped by Zana and were told that it was company policy to follow around customers to help them browse. We thought this policy was invasive and didn't allow us to freely shop and consider our options. We also saw other people shopping freely without a chaperone so we felt targeted. She even told us that she thought we were teenagers when we revealed we are in our 30s with a child. She also kept talking about financing options if we didn't have the funds to purchase. We felt very awkward and ended up leaving without purchasing anything even though we need basically everything for our new apartment. Ashley Furniture should really reconsider this store policy (if it's true). I have a feeling she just wanted the commission and lied about the policy because we were the only ones being followed around.
