Its been 2 MONTHS, yes 2 months of emails, text and nobody calls back. We gave them almost 25 thousand dollars of business. And still one very expensive sectional is falling apart. They don't deny it. They acknowledged it's "now" discontinued...but after we saw nothing that fits our decor to replace. They avoid us like the Plague! Think about it...we purchased 25k of furniture and that's not even a lot of rooms. They still completely blow is off. This isn't what any consumer/customer should go through. Go to Matthis Bros. We revisited the Jerome's retail store in Tustin for the second time. We returned because their furniture seems to be well-made and is affordable. Our first experience we were greeted with a sales person who we did not like because of his attitude. I believe his name is Thanh. He was very rude and did not have any kind of sense of humor. We ended up buying a sofa because Minerva, who we met later was very helpful, kind, and she did have a good sense of humor. So on our second visit, we immediately asked for Minerva. Two are good fortune. She was working that day. We purchased a round dining table with four chairs. We also like the fact that Jerome's Furniture offers 12 months, no interest payment option. We decided to take advantage of this because we decided that we would be able to pay it all off before the 12 months, so why not take advantage of that, correct? This Jerome's retail center is spacious and has areas for certain types of furniture. If you go, make sure you try their massage chairs that's an added treat for a long day. Stopped by Jerome's on a Saturday afternoon and this place empty with a capital E. Was greeted by a couple of friendly employees and one of the salespeople. I did like the generally low pressure sales environment here but the furniture inventory was quite lacking. As in, looking for a neutral color non 90's style sectional there were like 3 options total. Also, there was much less customization (ie color, fill, modularity etc) vs a couple of the larger big box competitors in the area. Everything felt a bit dated here. As much as we encountered friendly people here- just don't think we'd return due to limited options. read more

I called customer support and they can't find my order and were unable to help me without an order number. Honor your warranties! I spent over $10,000 on furniture. On one of the mattresses that we bought the springs collapsed after just two months of use. We contacted Jerome's due to the warranty and expected a replacement. They denied the replacement stating a small stain, I don't actually even see a stain with my own eyes, but they say they can see a stain in the picture and therefore will not honor the one year warranty. Paid for sofa and love seat to be delivered last Sunday. they called us Sunday at 7 Am stating the love seat was damaged but they could deliver the rest. we wanted everything at one time not 2 deliveries. They rescheduled for today at 9. First appointment for inconvenience. Jerome's called at 6 am saying the couch would be delivered today before 1 and the love seat would be delivered next week. we said cancel the delivery. they called back at 7am and said they could deliver both pieces by 9am. we agreed. it is now 8:15 and they called and said they cannot deliver by 9am. We are going to cancel and buy from living spaces. Great commercials but cannot deliver the product. Very disappointed they wasted 2 days of my time. read more

This is my second purchase from Jerome's. The delivery on this item has been horrible. One of the three dressers ordered was broken so I agreed to wait two additional days for a replacement. On second delivery the same broken item was brought. Two wasted days off used and still no product! They were unwilling to provide a replacement delivery today even though it was their fault. I am livid and will never buy from Jerome's again. Their poor customer service just lost a customer and I hope others learn from my experience and stay away too. read more

Beware. Shady salespeople. I went to this Jerome's location to buy a customized sofa. (Because, annoyingly, you can't buy customizable sofas on Jerome's online store, despite the online store listing them as customizable.) 1. Tried to charge me for things I didn't order. While the salesperson was entering my order into the computer, they asked me if I wanted the additional protection plan. (Costs a couple hundred dollars extra.) I was very clear in saying I didn't want it, even explained why. The salesperson chuckled and said they understood. Annnnd then they added it to my order anyway. Luckily, I looked at the bill they emailed me when I got home that day and caught what they'd done. I called and got the extra charge removed from my order. 2. Tried to charge more than Jerome's policy/contract said they would. When the salesperson gave me the contract/terms and conditions to read, I read that the required down payment was 25%. A few minutes later, when the salesperson was ready to take my down payment, they said, "So, you'll put down 50% today, and pay the rest when delivery's ready," followed by a joke about saving money for the holidays. I told them the contract said the required down payment was only 25%, and that's what I'd be putting down. They asked, "You want to pay only 25%?" I reminded them that's what the contract lists. I wonder how many customers have protection plans they declined but were still charged for, or who paid 50% down when they only had to pay 25% . . . read more

If I could give negative stars I would. My son bought an entire house worth of furniture from Jerome's. It took about 2 months to get the last thing delivered. The dresser drawers were wrong and it took over a month to get that corrected. And now after 7 months the bed is starting to fall apart on the bottom. He has called multiple times and no one ever gets back to him. Do not buy anything from this company. This is the worst experience I know of that anyone has ever had with a furniture company. read more

Update on my recliner ended up getting a notification this morning from the delivery driver that the recliner was damaged and they weren't gonna deliver. I called Jerome's and they told me that they don't have any more recliners until the end of January which I purchased this recliner in November so I'm gonna end up getting my money back way too long. Service is I would say a 6/10, I was having issues with my furniture being shipped to my home, was taking long to arrive when I was given an estimated arrival when purchased. Over all the furniture is priced right. We loved our sofa with the pull out bed and added chase on the side. What we aren't happy is we were told the added insurance/warranty for the couch and cushions would cover everything. So we went ahead and paid for the extra insurance only to come find out our claim was denied when the springs are popping out. Again, we were told everything would be covered. We haven't even had it for 3 years. Springs coming out and it's embarrassing when we have guest over. Don't be fooled and get the extra warranty it's all for nothing. read more

I'm sorry to have to write a negative experience I've had with jerome's. I am a polio survivor who has virtually no use of my legs. I can't sit without being able to adjust myself frequently to mitigate the pain so throughout the years I've had to use a recliner to do this for me. I purchased a rather expensive recliner from Jerome's and an extended warranty. The function of the chairs ability to raise the legs recently stopped working and was diagnosed as a switch had failed and would need to be replaced. I was told this would take approximately 12 to 16 weeks leaving me with no recourse to mitigate the pain that my body suffers. I still have not received this switch and they can give me no definite answer as to when the chair will be repaired. I think having to wait three or four months for a repair is unacceptable and Jerome's has offered me no resolution other than waiting. I cannot recommend that anyone purchase from Jerome's or their extended warranty. The seat cushion of the chair also was made poorly and has a permanent indentation from my sitting in it and they have told me this is not covered by the warranty. read more

We needed to get a recliner that had the "Lift" option to help boost out of the chair and we found one here - plus they were able to have it delivered quickly - in just 2 days. We paid a little more for the recliner that laid completely flat, which was a good idea - it's so much more comfy if you want to take a nap. *Recliner wasn't cheap - but it's a good quality. We just bought our new mattress at Jerome's Furniture in Anaheim. My wife has back pain and wanted a firm mattress. Our salesperson Mike Gibbons was very helpful and let her try them out in their "Dreamland" room where they have around two dozen beds with mattresses set up. After her third mattress test, she found one she really liked; and we bought it!. They were even giving a gift for each purchase and one of the ladies Yuri, helped by carrying it out for us! I love the lay out of Jerome's. It was easy to find furniture we were looking for and see it displayed with other furniture that paired well with it. The sales people let you walk around and look without them following yet were available for any questions we might have. In 2018 we purchased a leather sofa and loveseat from Jerome's, Anaheim CA. The sales agent mentioned that we could get a protection plan that would cover the sofas for five years. That plan would cover tears, scratches, stains etc. Sounded like a great idea at the time. Four years later one of our seat cushions developed a stress type tear. We informed Guardian Protection Products, Inc. of the tear. After sending them pictures, they said they won't cover a stress tear. In fact, they emailed me a 2-page list of everything they don't cover. Seems everything Jerome's mentioned to my wife and I was not in fact covered as they had stated. We wasted a few hundred dollars by buying this protection. In addition to this, our purchase of this protection plan was never recorded with Guardian Protection Products Inc. until I called Jerome's customer service after learning that Guardian Protection Products Inc. did not have us registered with them when I attempted to file the claim in September 2022. Perhaps this is why Jerome's no longer uses Guardian Protection Products Inc. any longer. Shame on me for buying this protection plan based on the salesperson's word and not requesting documentation to review what is and is not covered. Shame on Jerome's for falsely claiming the benefits of this protection plan. Make sure the protection plan you purchase from Jerome's is really all that the salesperson says it is. Otherwise, you probably wasting your hard-earned cash on purchasing it. 10/28/22 Update: After posting this review under the wrong store location, I am reposting it under the correct store location as directed by Yelp. Jerome's did reach out to me regarding this situation. However, I was notified today that they will not back up the protection plan they sold me either. With that said I am very disappointed in Jerome's and caution all to make sure you fully understand their protection plan exclusions as the exclusions will certainly outweigh the coverages. In store service was good with Mike. But delivery was not efficient. Communication from Manager, Erin to Delivery staff was lacking. Initial delivery had incorrect Matress size and informed we would not be available the next day after 10am. Delivery Staff still came after 10am and we were not present. We expected to hear from Jerome's to apologize for the mix up but never occurred. We eventually received correct mattress the next day. read more

I think the 2 and half stars is about correct. My brother bought 2 adjustable beds couple years ago. We lost one of the floor protectors that came with the bed. We went in for an extra one but they just said that they have them at a local hardware store or contact the extended warranty people. Not really a issue those things are inexpensive and plentiful. Who the hell wants to wait 6 months, now that I want a refund no one is responding. Do not waste your money people. Took almost two months to get our furniture after they said it would take three weeks. Had an ottoman delivered today and the top is on crooked and the staples aren't even attached. Called the store and they said I have to go through customer service which is only open weekdays. The sofa and chair we purchased are of just average quality, they chair already sags into a hard support underneath the seat. It hasn't been a week. Update to the ongoing nightmare that has been Jerome's Furniture. The computer desk I ordered from them back in Dec 2024 that was delayed for 6 weeks came in with two drawers that did not slide properly because they were missing the slider component part (likely because Jerome's orders all their furniture from China). On top of that, the third party installers said they would need to temporarily remove by office room door for them to fit the computer desk through the doorway. Come to find out they ended up removing the entire door at both hinges to the door jamb so when they screwed it back in, they damaged my door frame and now the screw holes are loose. Fast forward that Jerome's ordered replacement parts that took two weeks to get to me and were the wrong parts after their third party technician came by who spoke very little English to tell me this. Jerome's then agreed to replacing the desk entirely which took another few weeks to get to me. The third party installers that Jerome hired that came by let me know that the previous installers should have never removed my door the way they did that caused damage to my door frame. Jerome's is now trying to say I authorized the installer to do this so they are not accepting fault of their own. They also said I would need to contact my own handyman to remove the door and then replace it after Jerome's comes back with hopefully a working office desk. At this point, I have disputed the charges with my credit card company and am talking to my attorney about my options since Jerome's does not want to admit their third party installation company caused the damage to my house that Jerome's is not willing to admit. If you don't want a massive headache in your life, do NOT buy from Jerome's. I have a feeling they will be going out of business with their horrible overall reviews and now that the 50% Chinese tariffs are in place, Jerome's will either have to pass that onto the consumer or swallow it themselves. Based on their poor customer service and even worse reviews online, I don't expect consumers to pay for Jerome's poor quality and higher prices going forward so hopefully they go bankrupt. One less poor quality merchant in the world to take advantage of customers. read more

No one asked if I needed assistance and there were 2 sales women chatting, one sitting unprofessional on the sofa while the other one talking to her and laughing.
