I usually need something that will last a year or so in a new apartment, look nice but nothing fancy that will lay around and gather dust for years to come. Angel's rugs was perfect for that. This shop sells very similar inventory that other places around downtown and the fashion district area do but I always loved the fact that I could come in, do some bargaining and leave this place with a couple of excellent rugs for very good prices. Easy. Since the store changed location it is no longer the case unfortunately. They now have very similar prices to local HomeGoods, World Market and now there's absolutely no reason for me to drive to that $#!& hole DTLA, where my wife was literally afraid to step out of the car. It's obvious that these guys are trying hard to grow their business further from that small room at the previous location. Staying in downtown and moving to even a worst neighborhood was an idea that's far from the best, in my opinion though. I stopped by this year, tried buying a few rugs but after the owners refused to lower the price from 3-$400+ dollars, I had no choice but to go to, what used to be their old location and buy two rugs from their neighbours at Trims and rugs. Sorry guys. I know that in business it's very difficult to recover from a lower price tier once everyone knows you as a bargain place to purchase things. I truly desire you to achieve the level of success that your whole family is aiming for but raising prices and staying in the same neighborhood where people go for one and the only reason, to look for bargains is going to be difficult, to say the least. Good luck. I plan to keep stopping by once in awhile to see how the store is growing and maybe, hopefully score a deal sometime.

Luckily, we were able to visit the same day we called. Vitoria (I checked and there's no "c" in her name) set us up and sent the confirmation and directions to my phone right away. Children under 12 are not allowed BUT you can kindly request and see if you can have your kids accompany you. The showroom is not comparable to other big name furniture stores. This isn't a place you casually walk into on your way to pick up groceries. If you're coming here, you have a specific piece in mind and for us it was the customizable SOULFA. It is imperative that you have the dimensions of your space so that you can make the best choice of layout and cube size. The configuration is endless and they can help you on site to see your vision in person. Initially we thought of only getting 5 pieces but ended up choosing 6. Vitoria and her staff are not pushy at all! If anything, their insight and advice helped us choose the best configuration for our lifestyle. There are 8 different performance fabric colors to choose from. We thought we would be walking away from the signature white but the other colors are so beautiful in person, you'll have to see them all for yourself. We have been couch/sofa shopping since the summer and waited this long to make sure we bought the right couch for us, and we're so glad we finally found it! The best part is that it is getting delivered to our home in 4 days!!! That is unbelievable as we are still waiting for some living room pieces and we'd be lucky if they arrive by Christmas! The furniture on display looked better than what was actually provided in delivery after purchase. Maybe the materials are good quality, but the craftsmanship was very poor. The chairs quickly sagged because of poor bases (I found sturdier chairs much cheaper at IKEA) and the screws come loose very easily making the chairs prone to instability and breakage.
