We've got a 2 bedroom apartment that sees very low traffic. But those areas that do see traffic needed some love. We've used ACC before and often receive their coupons in the mail. Since we had one (I think it was $89 and change for 4 rooms of less than 400sq ft total). We fit that bill, so we rang them up. They have done a respectable job of us in the past (although on a previous visit, their hoses did cause damage to one of our window sills - which we decided not to make a big deal over). The guys who showed up were really nice and more or less on time. They were done quickly and everything was great, until it came time to pay. Our total was over $300! I cant understand how a $89 coupon turned into an amount that high! I asked about it and one of the gentlemen told me that the cost had gone up and pointed to a $10 fee on the bill. Well, that may well be, but there's still a lot of miles between $10 and $300! We were late to leave for the airport, so we let it go. They told us themselves that that our carpets were not that bad (except in the very short hallway between the rooms - which is only a few feet long). So I really don't understand how $89 became $300, when it was time to pay. Aside from this, it looked like they did a good job. I'm a little concerned that the carpet in the hallway is looking kinda dirty again, which seems odd to me, being that the cleaning was so recent and that we have barely been home, but in any event, my only real issue is with the coupon vs cost situation. If you advertise for an $89 carpet cleaning, the final cost should be $89. read more

I agree with most of the other 80% of negative reviewers and I don't like to write negative reviews. They sent a coupon for 60 dollars for three rooms, well, we only have two rooms with carpet and most carpet is covered with king size beds etc. The maximum the coupon honors is 350 sq ft and the tech put ours down as 175. So they knew it was a short and easy job but they said if we wanted it actually well cleaned it would be more. A lot more. Also, they initially tried to say that they couldn't honor the coupon even though I had booked the appointment and told them about the coupon. They said they didn't have their coupon equipment. We shampoo a lot because we have a dog and I don't like fur or water spots, but they had a hidden 10 dollar surcharge which is ridiculous because I've used several companies and have never seen this before and have never seen a quick versus actual clean prices. It took 30 minutes (prolly half as long as most jobs) to get it a little cleaner. Basically these guys are hustlers and tack on a lot of hidden fees or don't clean well. I called and asked management about this but they weren't particularly nice or helpful. People who care about their customers will have a thriving business, and I should have looked at Yelp first because this is a 'service' business with very poor customer service. Will return to our regular carpet cleaners, since I should have never tried someone else in the first place. Finally, came home today and there were still a lot of spots. Do yourself a favor and use Serviz, cheaper, much better, honest and nice people. Bottom line-they will try and sell you more services or charge you anyway and it will cost you more than other companies without a coupon and it won't be done well. I'm going to do it myself. Again. Update: They called me to see how I liked their services and when I told them it wasn't clean and that they didn't want to honor the coupon nor had I ever experienced extra fees from a cleaning company they said they would have someone call me because customer service is their primary concern. I called them twice and they literally said too bad, "we've been in business 20 years and don't care what review you post." Then she literally hung up on me! A complete and total rip off!! The person that answers the phone seems great but here's where the problems start: We are given a 2 hour window for the technician's time of arrival and he calls at the end of said window to day he's on his way and will be 15 min. Okay fine...not so bad but just as the other reviewers posted...we had a coupon from the ValPak that comes in the mail and it was NOT honored so we refused service. It was supposed to be a thorough cleaning of a sofa and love seat and all we have is a sofa and chair (even smaller) and there are no loose pillows; just easy to clean microfiber and yet we were told in person (during their UPSALE SCHEME) that it's the coupon's $99.95 to steam clean them but an additional $70 to vacuum them. WTF? Then we have one 8x10 throw rug that we inquired about since there was a coupon for $69.99 for 3 carpeted areas and this was just ONE throw rug and we were quoted (in person) $260....it's the same as the COST of the actual rug! So we went from thinking we'd spend the $99.95 we planned on to a new quote of almost $500?!?! Total upwelling scam! Run people...the coupons are meaningless! read more

I called the owner, he said it had to be my carpet, something on it from the last tenant. I am the only tenant that used this carpet. I said the least you could do is refund my money. This is an update to my last unfavorable review. Mike, the owner, contacted me and after telling him all the problems I experienced with his company and employees, he agreed to work out a free carpet cleaning for me to make me happy. I was very reluctant at first since they stood me up for two days and I was still extremely angry . . . but he finally talked me into it. The two guys showed up 45 min early while I was still in my pjs (they still don't have the scheduling perfect but at least they came) and I have to say they did an excellent job and they were friendly. My carpet wasn't too dirty to start with but it does look really nice and very clean. I was surprised they do not move small furniture so I had to do it but it was okay as I needed the exercise. A few days later, the owner called me to follow up and receive my favorable feedback. I later received a call from Eleanor at their office who apologized to me for the bad treatment I had to endure. I could tell she was sincere and it left a good impression that she took the time to apologize. This is the kind of customer service a professional company should give and they have restored my faith in them. I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I still had the previous bad experience but I do feel much better about possibly using this company again in the future as long as they are on time.
