Yes yes yes! This place was very fun and it's a good spot to take a friend out and catch up. We ordered a large pie half cheese and pepperoni and OMG! That pizza was FANTASTIC! It was so cheesy and the sauce was amazing! I also had a beer. Greg took care of us and gave us great friendly service. They also have free funny postcards as souvenirs. TIP: Make sure you come in during certain hours no later than 10pm if you want Pizza. I believe they have a time when the kitchen closes.

It's a standard sports bar where the locals hang. Came on a Sunday afternoon and just got beers. There's no table service. You order at the bar. Water is self-served. They have pizza and garlic knots which smelled good. Decor is American vintage.

Finally made my way over to American Cheez after their 2021 reopening. Great outdoor setup on a sunny Saturday, beers were flowing and they were slinging pies. Beers reasonably priced ($5-$8 for cans and draft) with a solid selection for a dive. Pizzas for $9 are probably the best snack you can get for a bar with no kitchen. The crust looks much different from pictures from pre-winter closing. To be blunt, two steps above bowling alley pies, one step below parlor pies.

An unpretentious bar for casual sipping/viewing/chatting. Everything checks out for this bar, and a huge draw is the free personal pizza with any drink $5 or more (I think) -- the ultimate bar snack. Without the pizza, the beer is reasonably priced, at around $7 for something on tap, comparable with other bars in NYC. The pizza is pretty comparable to any $1 slice shop, with the standard seasoning available -- parmesan, oregano, chili pepper flakes. I really appreciate the bartender going the extra mile by serving pizza to our table on top of catering to everyone's drink orders. As for the atmosphere, there are plenty of little games to play here, like Connect 4 and Jenga, across the room. Price: 4/5 Quality: 4/5 Quantity: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Been here sooo many times for Rangers games and Sunday : Funday football this pie has gotten better over the years , it was well done and cooked perfectly.in the past the crust seems to be lagging it's flavor . So the game has up to bite as I say . Also you have to order a drink for a FREE PIE , toppings $1 extra .

I love this place! A girlfriend & I were across the street having a fancy cocktail @ Camper Down Elm & we walked across the street for beer (which comes w/ an individual pizza). What?! Yes! That's their gimmick & ya wanna know what? It's a good one. This place has a Metallica pinball machine and a John Travolta from the 70's wall in the bathroom. What?! I'll be back.

One of my favorite bars in Brooklyn. Free pizzas and decent bar prices. Love the old school decoration and the bartenders are cool.

This place is amazing. 3 beers and 3 pizzas cost me $20. Brad is awesome. I'll be here every trip I make it to Brooklyn.

The service was also great as the bartender was quick and got us our next drinks as soon as he saw we finished our first one. During our visit, we tried the Matt's Ginger Old Fashioned, Brooklyn, Vulcano, and Palermo Fix. All cocktails were $14 each, which were all nicely made. The Brooklyn was very strong and the Old Fashioned is a nice classic with a hint of ginger flavor. The other two were lighter with twists of sour. They also offer some paninis, plus a toasted lard bread ($5) that we ordered. The lard bread is from Mazzola, which is absolutely delicious, but kind of sad that they only offer 4 pieces. Cool bar in the neighborhood with tasty drinks. It's such a simple, yet sophisticated bar. There's also a pool table in the back to enjoy.

The Neapolitan is my favorite. The only food items they have are a few panini's so don't come here expecting a full food menu. They have a pool table in the back and outdoor seating. The service is always quick and the bartenders know how to make a cocktail. Love coming here whenever I'm out and about in Caroll Gardens.

We were about to drive to Dave & Buster's when we spotted the board game shelf at High Dive, which looked robust enough for us to stop in. The adults in the group all got frozen cocktails while we ordered Shirley Temples for the kids and played Pictionary, Scrabble, and Codenames. The games were picked over and missing pieces but we made makeshift pieces with our own tic tac box and the bartender was nice enough to provide us with extra slips of paper and pencils for pictionary. We ended the night playing pinball and other arcade games in the back while admiring their backyard and soundtrack. They were really welcoming and chill and "Sunny Came Home" played on the speakers, which made me very nostalgic. The prices here are nostalgic too, harkening back to pre-covid prices. This is a great neighborhood dive that probably gets pretty packed on weekends but was perfect for our Monday night visit.
