American Deli's are usually pretty good. All are found in strip malls/shopping centers. They have everything from burgers to gyros to wings, and even fish. You can even get a philly cheese steak here. Whatever you choose, be sure to get a side of fries and add seasoning. Regarding this location, I had a negative feeling immediately upon entering. Signs were plastered on the front door, and all over inside. None were welcoming. The tables each said no dine in, the bathroom was blocked to keep guests out, the napkin dispenser sign said please do not open, the condiments had a sign that said grab only what only you need, and also had a sign with directions for performing "CPR on an unconscious victim". At the ordering counter, they had signs that said check your order before you leave, and employee instructions regarding Covid. I'm not sure why that's not in the employee area. I didn't care to read that while ordering. There is also a sign saying they stop taking grill orders 20 minutes before close so they can clean before close. In addition there is a social distance sign still up. Not to mention all the signs on the front door. I'm sure there were more I didn't mention. Overall, it's a bit much. No positive atmosphere or good vibes when you enter the restaurant. The menu marquee also has old prices. They charge more for their food at the register than what they advertise. I told them and they said it's been like that for awhile. They just haven't changed the advertised prices. (Legal?) Regarding the food, many American Deli's have a nice presentation with a gyro. It looks like it came from a magazine. However, this location just laid the ingredients any which way in the tortilla. It tasted the same but lacked the care/presentation. If you can wade through all the negativity and plan on getting your order to go (since there is no dine in), the food is good and worth a visit. read more

I'm from Atlanta. So I remember when American Deli first popped up. They were so good. Over the years as people began obtaining their own franchises or managing, the quality became suspect at some locations. I have 2 near my home. One is not good at all. The other is okay most days and good on other days. I happened to choose this American Deli because I was picking up pizza at Nancy's which is nearby. LET ME TELL YOU! I ordered 20 mild "wet" buffalo wings only. All flats. It has been a long time since it felt like I was eating American Deli from 1998. Lol. And they were good the next day too. PLUS they were not super tiny baby chick wings. They were regular size. My husband is always clowning on Atlanta wings because he's from Buffalo, NY, the "wing capital". And even he said they were good, which is hard to do. I recommend this location. Hopefully it was not a one time fluke. I will definitely go back one day soon to make sure. read more

Ever since Paula left this place has been goin downhill. The 2 young ladies they have taking calls and orders are Very very Rude. Today I went in to order my food and I asked for ten flat honey lemon pepper wings and was told that they weren't doing that. I explained to them that I was placing an additional order of an additional ten wings all drums and was still told NO! I asked for a manager and was told after 3 minutes went by that she was at lunch and I should step out of line and wait for her. I advised no I then began to explain that I was ordering a total of twenty wings and that either way they would be mixing flats and drum for each ten piece so I would be able to get ten flat and ten drums. A coworker over heard the conversation and Agreed that what I was asking was indeed possible and I said ok and the worker then stated "Well you take her order because WHITE IS ALWAYS RIGHT and walked off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been trying in v to get ahold of the manager and no one has reached back out to me and I was told that the owners info isn't able to be provided. Sooooo, disappointed! Simple pick-up order: 15 medium wings CRISPY add celery and blue cheese, large fry and a large garden salad. The wings were too wet, they forgot my celery and the salad didn't have what the picture showed it should look like was so damn SOGG, I was literally able to squeeze water out of it!!!! YUCK! Best American Deli I've been to! My wings are usually way over cooked at other locations, but this place has the timing down! The restaurant is usually pretty packed at lunchtime so I'm really happy I can get it delivered through DoorDash. Wish I could get my fries extra crispy though! Every time I place an order with Doordash for delivery American Deli conveniently leaves the condiments that I pay extra for, ridiculous. 60 cent for extra ranch each time it's an additional 3 dollars for my family's order. I ordered 10 pc wing combo and steak philly. The cashier got really good understanding about their food. She kindly recommended the most selling flavor even the store was packed of people. The best American Deli East of Atlanta !!!! Customer service is beyond wonderful, they always greet you with a Hello along with a smile. Very patient with taking orders, always read it back to you to verify it's correct, food is phenomenal, always fresh. Never had an issue with food, nor customer service. They can handle a crowd, quick to get your in and out. You get a lot of food for the price also. Fried rice is wonderful, they let you choose what you want in it. Parking is sometimes a hassle being that the parking lot is busy and not big. Wings are delicious and big, you definitely pay for what you get. read more
