I can easily see why American Dent Specialist have such high reviews. I brought in my Tesla because we were rear-ended (They have a full shop and can work on Tesla vehicles). Unfortunately, they weren't able to get the replacement part from Tesla (Tesla's fault), so instead of micky mousing the job to make money, they referred me to another shop that was able to take on the job because they could get the right part. What a place this is! I recently purchased a car and about a week after I had my drivers door incident where my door flung out and hit a metal pole that resulted in a deep dent. Since it was only about week after I got my car, I had to get my dent fixed for me to sleep at night as it would catch my eyes every time I walked to my car. I spent a few days looking for the best to place to take my car and I came across reviews of American Dent Specialists. Everyone was on top of their duties and their attitudes were very welcoming and Andy spent a few minutes evaluating the dent and spent additional time with me explaining what has happened and what will need to be done to get it repaired. I received a very reasonable quote based on the amount of work needed and scheduled to come back. I dropped off the car this morning about 15 mins before the appointment time (I've been always taught to be early). Although it was before the office was open and working, they took my car and started working on it right away. Vehicle was finished within the estimated time and before they completed the work, they asked me to come and make sure that I was completely satisfied as they offer 100% satisfaction guarantee. This place was great. I had hail damage on my Hyundai Elantra, they fixed it good as new for the cost of the claim! Before I went to this place I got an estimate from another business that told me it would cost $5000 and take ten days. ADS fixed it in one day (before lunch) cost $851.00 (I only paid the $500 deductible) and they vacuumed out the car and gave it a wash! Lafayette was the guy that I did business with. I have known Andy for quite a few years and know him to be honest, hardworking, and very conscientious. We brought my wife's Infinity to Andy's company - American Dent Specialists - a few years ago and they did a great job detailing the car. When I bought my Porsche a few months ago, I was encouraged to look into having ceramic applied to protect the finish. I called Andy to get his take on the technology (very positive!) and learned that his company applies ceramic coatings. I was fortunate enough to be going on vacation a few weeks ago and Andy arranged for me to have the ceramic coating applied while I was gone. This had the added benefit of allowing the car to sit in Andy's shop for 5 additional days to give the ceramic coating more time to cure out of the elements. I was blown away by how nice the car looked when I picked it up. It is perfect! Very shiny and the detail work to the car was excellent. Andy introduced me to the two guys who worked on the car and they were really excited about how the car came out. One of the reasons I chose ceramic technology is the ease of doing maintenance washes. I have done one maintenance wash since I picked the car up. Used two buckets as they recommended. Then, I used my leaf blower to dry the car. It worked incredibly well. My wife was with me when I picked up the car. Andy, and the two guys, let my wife know the advantages of getting it done on her Mercedes SUV. The guys were so strong on the technology, answered her questions, and of course she could see the result in my car. She is very practical, and a tough sell, so not sure if she will make it happen. OK, so when I found out that my left rear bumper got dinged in my parking garage - and may the Lord have mercy on the idiot who did this to my car - I needed it fixed. Quickly. Affordably. IMMEDIATELY. Well, thanks to American Dent Specialists, my Mazda is ready to go and it didn't break my wallet. They get the five stars in record time! Short version: A friendly, reliable, flexible company that fixes dings the first time quickly and efficiently. You guys rock! Long version: After finding out that I had a big ole dent in my rear fender - and after lots of cussing that I can't spell out here - I immediately turned to Yelp to find someone who could fix it. Unfortunately, the big-name companies who advertise here - and you know who you are, bitches - quoted anywhere from $500 to $700 to replace the bumper. One place in the Heights (which shall go nameless) offered me a "deal" - cash only - to replace and paint the bumper. The price? $500. I mean, really - do I look like a Kardashian or something? Who keeps five Benjamins around for stuff like this? But I digress. Not only were they open on Labor Day - and in the rain to boot - but they were friendly, hassle-free and willing to work with me to achieve what I needed. They work behind Sterling McCall Toyota on the Southwest Freeway, so you have to call them to find out exactly where they're located. But once you find them, it's a piece of cake to get your car repaired. FYI - according to Andy (the owner), American Dent Specialists will be moving close to Memorial City Mall in a bigger retail space. Stay tuned. Anyway, they were able to fix the ding, buff it down and return it to me in under 2 hours. The price? $250. Un-freaking-believable! (I'm smiling as I'm typing this.) Pics are shown as proof. I swear, even I couldn't tell where the original damage was! These guys are awesome! On top of that, they also offer outcall service - meaning that if you can't make it to them, they will come to YOU and fix your car. How sweet is that? Even doctors don't make house calls any more! So, friends and neighbors, let the record show that I was not only duly impressed with their work, but my first reaction when I saw the impeccable repair job was "WHOA - five stars!" Lafayette repaired dents and dings in my doors. Did a fantastic job! Fast and efficient! Before I left, I discovered some rear window molding needed to be replaced, and I hired them to do it. This company is also known as Collision Craftsman. On the morning I was to have the molding repaired. I accidentally hit a post in a parking garage and damaged my driver side door. The door needed to be replaced. The owner showed me some of the impressive work they've done. I decided not to go through insurance and the he gave me a discount which ended up being less than what the dealer had quoted me. I'll be taking my Subaru back next week for the repair. As a Houstonian of 22 years I have unearthed the rare combination of honesty and expertise a few times - my doctor, mechanic, HVAC repair person, chiropractor, our vet, and now I have found my car dent repair magician. Our 6-year-old SUV is now within 97% of its original showroom condition which is saying something when you drive on our roads. Andy and team did an AMAZING job stripping the car down to the paint, fixing the dents, correcting the dings, scratches, etc and detailing the interior and exterior. They even somehow got the talcum powder out of the dashboard, doors, and ceiling from years of gymnastics practices. After fully correcting the paint they applied a C Quartz ceramic coating which has a 4-year warranty and eliminates the need for waxing. Water just races off the car after a washing or a rain storm. I called Andy on a Saturday morning, and he found room in his schedule in just a couple hours to fix dents on two of my cars, a BRZ (steel body) and a Tesla M3 (aluminum body). Based on the photos I sent, he gave me an estimate and the option to either have his tech come to me, or for me to go to his shop. I elected to go to him. His shop is new and clean, and the waiting room has big, comfortable leather chairs and a large TV. Andy met me and surveyed the work. He told me exactly how he was going to get behind the dents, which panels might need to come off, and how long he thought it should take. He revised his estimate DOWNWARD! I left to get the second car, and he got to work. At the end of the day, both cars looked like new. Their sizable dents were completely gone, and only by my previous knowledge of their locations was I able to find only the very slightest evidence of their ever having been there. It was less evidence, I might add, than if I had gone to a body shop, replaced the panels, and tried to match paint. His prices were not the lowest in the business, but they were competitive and commensurate with the added time and care he used, versus other paintless services I've employed, as well as the difference of his having a brick and mortar shop vice some guy working out of the trunk of his car. This wasn't my first paintless dent removal experience, but it was my best one. Recently found a dent in the hood of my Audi S5. Had no idea what caused it. Contacted Andy and received a prompt response, even on New Years day. Set the appointment and found Andy and his staff prepared when i drove in. The dent was a bit problematic since the hood on the S5 is aluminum and there was a line/crease down the center of the dent. I had a big dent on my car as some SUV or truck hit me with their bumper, as no paint was scratched, but it made a long dent above my front left tire. Since there was no paint scratches, I never noticed it until my mechanic noticed it the other day. I got on Yelp and ran a few bid request on a Sunday night. I got two quick replies, one sounded like an auto-reply and one from Andy. After submitting photos, Andy came up with the lowest bid. His bid actually reflected in detail how the estimated was based on, so I felt comfortable booking an appointment with his shop, prior to receiving the other 2 bids. I arrived the next day and Andy took an actual measurement of the dent. He said he could get it fixed but not 100% perfect. Since I was looking to roll my fenders, I was happy to get it 80% perfect, as I was looking for function over cosmetics. The actual dent measured 6 inches, while the bid was only based on 5 inches. I was happy to offer to pay half for the additional inch, but Andy refused to take a dime more than his original bid. When the work was done, I went into the shop to examine the work. To the naked eye, it was 100% perfect, but Andy was quick to point out the imperfections that on the inside there was a slight bent that could not be fixed due to the impact. Well, nobody wasn't going to see that slight bent on the inside, so I was happy with the work performed.
