For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. My original appointment was scheduled back in February, but no one showed up, and when I called, I was told the appointment was not even in the system so they had to rescehdule. Then on installation day, the crew arrived with the wrong size and wrong color door, which delayed the installation and caused me to miss work. Communication throughout the process was slow, and I had to repeatedly call and request escalation before receiving consistent updates. Ironically, communication became much quicker when it came time to collect the final payment. While compensation was eventually offered, it felt like the minimum possible amount considering the inconvenience and lost time involved. In the end, the final product turned out well, but the scheduling, communication, and ordering issues made the experience frustrating overall.

It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform.
