Even if someone doesn't fully know how to help me with what I'm trying to do, they're at least kind and attempt to help. So, in general, I like this location. However, I had an exceptionally terrible experience there this morning. I mean -5 stars awful. I was looking around for something that I have previously purchased here maybe 2 months ago. A girl named Melody was sitting at the desk kind of in the middle of the store and kindly asked if I was looking for something. I explained to her what I was looking for and that I remembered it being around these aisles on the very bottom right hand side. I wasn't able to explain the product as well as I wanted to because I couldn't remember the name of it. So, I pulled it up and showed her a photo of the box. To preface, I have been in customer service for 22 years so I have an understanding of what is acceptable/not acceptable when helping guests, ESPECIALLY polite and kind guests like I was. I showed her the photo and she abruptly said "Yeah, we don't have that here. I said, "Really? I just bought maybe 5 or 6 boxes from here" And this is how the rest of the conversation went.. "You didn't get it here." "I know for sure I got it here. I purchased it myself" "Maybe you had it shipped to store" "No, I didn't. I just happened upon them and picked some up" "When?" "Maybe 2 months ago" "I've been here since August and I'm telling you we've never had that. Here, I'll just look it up" "Oh, it looks like we do have it. It's in aisle 20whatever she said. We actually have 2 in stock" I was completely silent and we walked to the aisle and I started grabbing what I needed. I asked her for her name and she said Melody. Then I went silent again and she started *really* overcompensating awkwardly with attempting kindness after I asked her name. Saying things like, "Well, I'm so happy I know we have this now, this isn't my department, I have never seen these before, you might wanna grab all 3 boxes (instead of the 2 I needed)." Just really uncomfortably rambling because she knew how rude she just was to me. We are walking back and she is very insistent on helping me further. I asked for wood filler because I too feel uncomfortable now. She shows me, I thank her, and she asked if she could find anything else for me. I responded with "Absolutely not." and walked off, genuinely upset about being talked to with such poor attitude and accusatory behavior. Just rude as all get out. I've never called a manager to complain but I think I will. I was super dissatisfied with my entire trip except for the lady at the checkout line. Do better, Melody.

Ordered 2 items for next day delivery, driver mixed up my order with another. According to Lowe's…read morecustomer service, it is now my problem not theirs. East side store customer service even called multiple times since they knew the wrong item was dropped off while I was not home. Despite claiming the driver would return with the correct item, after a week no driver showed up. Customer service now says the mixup was responsibility of the delivery service not Lowe's. Where on Lowe's delivery screen does it state Lowe's bears no responsibility for delivery? Never buy anything for delivery from Lowe's, and think twice about doing business with them at all with this attitude.

Went in to this store (East side Evansville, IN) looking for a specific product that was listed on…read moretheir app and website. They didn't have it anywhere in the store, even though their app said that 35 were available at that store. The only help I got was an employee trying to sell me a Kobalt brand tool for 550% the cost of the item I was searching for. This was a second try after getting the same runaround at the Henderson, KY store a few days prior to this visit. The item was a LuxPro 12500 Lumens Rechargeable LED Flashlight.

A few people have reported this to corporate as well. They don't care either. Blocking handicapped spaces should get them cited... Yes, even in a "private" parking lot.
