One of my favorite things about Ollie's is that there is absolutely no other place in town I have found K-cups for Keurigs in 12-pack boxes for only $4! They have a huge selection of name brand K-cups in coffee, flavored coffees, cappuccinos, hot chocolates & tea. I come here all the time, just to see what I can find, & almost always leave with a cart full of merchandise! I was happy to meet the owner and he didn't have it in stock but was more than happy to give us a date and time and even gave us a discount with the install. I have to say I found this place MUCH better then other business's I have delt with in the past. They showed up with the right parts and while we have VERY limited space and things they were able to hook it up and set up was a breeze without any issues. I have recommend them to others. Prices are very comparable if not better then a lot of major stores, they also will do setup and removal of old items. Also they are local, and support is excellent as well as extra warranty and other needs.

Purchased 2 recliners from them and after they were delivered, one of the chairs had several…read moreproblems, the power headrest would not move and the footrest made a loud popping noise and you could feel the pop in your leg as the footrest was lowered. The technician found that the headrest had not been set up by the delivery crew. After checking for the cause of the popping sound, she reported that the sound was most likely caused by the fabric catching and she hoped that the popping would stop after a week and assured me if it continued to call Green River in a week and they would look into it further. 10 days later the popping is still occurring and when I called this time, there tone had changed. Instead of assisting to fix the problem, they stated that the popping noise was coming from the fabric and if they sent out a technician and they thought that it was caused by the fabric I would have to pay a service call fee. I was hoping that they would stand behind the products they sell, this defect was there the day they delivered the chairs, they know that, but are unwilling to address the issue.

We had an old dryer that stopped heating up and drying clothes. We called Purchase Appliances on a…read morerecommendation to have it looked at and repaired. The first repair man came out and said it needed a new timer. That visit causes $116 we had purchased appliance order the timer and that was another $218. The second repair man came out and installed the timer and the dryer still did not work. He could not find the problem. That visit cost us $175. They sent a third repair man out and he could not fix it either. Could not figure out what was wrong with it. No charge for that visit. At this point, we have $509 in a used dryer that does not work. We headed down to the store to see what our options were. They had a used dryer at their store that they were selling for $300. They gave us $250 credit for our dryer which had a new $200 timer on it. So we ended up putting in an additional $50 to get another used dryer. Then they delivered and installed the dryer we bought from them for $155. When they came to install the dryer, the cord on the dryer was not long enough to reach the plug in our house. I made a trip down to Paducah to pick up a longer cord and they charged me $40 for it. I told them I didn't feel it was fair for me to have to pay for the cord after all we have gone through and the expense we have gone through but they would not budge. The cord started out at $45 and they knocked it down to $40. So now we have $754 in a used dryer. We could have bought a brand new one cheaper. And they thought I was being unreasonable asking them to cover a $40 cord for the dryer. They took no accountability in their part of not being able to fix it. A clothes dryer is one of the simplest appliances there are out there. It's hard for me to believe somebody couldn't fix that thing.

We ended up purchasing a new Sealy Posturepedic Elite Hybrid. We verified they would ship to our house in Illinois. No issues or so we thought..... The shipment arrived and the order had to be returned due to multiple items being damaged and filthy. The store manager reached out to corporate and the regional manager to check policies on resolving the issue. Corporate said refund them and tell them to buy it somewhere else. The regional manager said they would only reship the mattress and they didn't know when they would ship it. We purchased the bed as a mattress, box springs and mattress cover and the corporate and regionals managers responses were basically we don't care about your business. We had the entire order refunded and we will never return to a Big Sandy Superstore again. The only reason this review is getting a two star is because Tim (salesmen) and the store manager (Eric) were understanding to our issue and frustration.
