Armando and Arturo came out to assess the job and provide with me with a quote. To my surprise, the price was only slightly higher than the regular remediation company. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability. Additionally, they promised me the job would be completed in 1 day! WOW! This would be best case scenario. The office staff was also very kind and helpful with prompt estimate and response time. Today was the day of the job, I was very anxious and worried due to the fact that my parent's house is very old. The job supervisor, two workers and Arturo came out to ensure that everything would be okay! They did a superior job, kept everything clean, taped off all areas and did a great job with containment! Hired Jackson abatement to remove popcorn ceiling in three rooms. They missed some popcorn ceiling…read moreasbestos under one light fixture during their abatement. They removed the light fixtures in the two other rooms, but somehow failed to remove the light fixture in the third. We thought that by the fixture still being up, that they had ensured there was no popcorn ceiling underneath it. We were wrong. A few days later, the ceiling refinisher discovered it when it was time to reskim the ceilings and he removed the fixture. The drywaller unfortunately dry scraped it off before I could stop him. I am extremely unhappy as we hired Jackson Abatement to handle the removal professionally so there was no risk to my family or young son of asbestos exposure. In hindsight, they failed and my family and son was still exposed to the asbestos that we were trying so hard to avoid. Rich did try to make it right eventually, but only with me pushing for resolution. A day or two after discovery, he provided a negative air machine and removed any remaining popcorn ceiling that was in the junction box. He also paid for air clearance testing which passed after three days of running the negative air machine. Both of these were because I requested/ pushed for it, they were not readily offered. Bothers me knowing that I paid multiple grand to have the asbestos in my home professionally removed so that there was no risk to my family. Due to their negligence, we were still exposed. Nothing I can do now, and I know nothing will likely come of it health wise, but I hate knowing my 7 month old son was exposed because of a failure on this company. Hoping they learned and do better for other families and customers.

I typically do wait a little bit after service to write reviews, just in case something happens. And something that leads to me clicking extra hard on that 5th star... well, the owner reached out for a review, and reminded me once after and said he wouldn't pester me with it again. And sure enough he didn't. So that was cool. But to the real review.... my rental had some tenants who didn't report a leak for months apparently, since they were hiding a cat and didn't want me to come and fix things and see the cat. Long story short, I had to tear down 2 of the 4 walls of a bathroom and an entire wall of pantry cabinets in the kitchen on the other side of the bathroom. Mold was completely black! Needless to say, I really wanted to have this fixed ASAP! And of all the "911" or "emergency" or "fix it right away" type of remediation companies... they all did something similar except 911 Restoration. They all urgently booked a "free estimate", then take a day to send a quote. Then almost all were weeks out to schedule it except for two who can start "immediately". However, they would have to do all these "tests" to get started. 911 wasn't the cheapest, but their quoting agent was very nice, thorough, and most professional sounding. Like, he could've been a sales guy for jet engines not just another contractor. Felt very formal and courteous. In any case, when they say they can start right away, they did. Came out and started demoing the next day after I decided to go with them and sent them a deposit. And while they weren't the cheapest, they did do a bit more than the other guys (had them all itemize what they'd do) and for the common work, they were willing to price match it and did a discount on other areas where they could. They weren't too far off to begin with. Some folks tacked on contingency charges and it felt like hidden fees. 911's quote was straight forward. In the end, when you want something like this addressed, you want it done right. They not only did it right, but felt confident of their work and both the project manager and the workers were all courteous and professional. If there's a lesson to be learned....better declare that friggin cat. Kiss that deposit good bye! *sigh*

Victor had completely gone ballistic on us but reluctantly agreed to paint the door. This was to be done and not new thing added to his scope of work. He simply slapped on a single coat of paint, no primer no protection. We are in the process of painting the entire door again as the paint is now peeling and was informed by the team working on it now that the priming and protective coating was never applied. I am really disappointed as I was sure they took pride in their work, which is clearly not the case.
