Pin-hole leak caused water damage at my parent's house. The drywall became moldly- a regular remediation company requires asbestos testing due to the home being built in 1964. Victor and his crew did an amazing job of removing our old ducts. We have a flat roof, which makes it hard to access the ducts. Victor walked me through the process of cutting through our drywall to take out the ducts. He showed me the containment barrier setup. His crew left our house clean. When I noticed anything after they were done (some plastic covering still around the roof vents or light bulbs missing), I was able to get a hold of Victor quickly and he would fix the issue. We hired a third party company to do air-testing and it passed inspection. This gives more credibility to the safe and careful work that Victor and his team provided. Demolition & removal review of area with lead and mold: I couldn't be happier with Pacific Environmental. Michael was extremely polite and respectful, went above and beyond to make sure the job was done very thoroughly, all while making sure our home was protected with the tarp. Michael even brought be into the room to show me the tarp so I could see that it was all locked in before the work began. When the project began, they gave me a time estimate to finish, but they ended up working through lunch and finishing in record time which was great. Michael and the other employee did a great job removing our bathroom vanities, it was a rather large project with 2x60" back to back vanities. There is a huge mirror on both sides, and they were very careful not to damage it. After the work was done, they made cleaned up very well and left the area cleaner than when they found it. It was very hot in the tarped area, these guys worked hard! I was very grateful the work was done because they actually found mold and removed the area. Michael even saw us moving something out of our truck on his way bringing things in and offered to help, which was totally unnecessary, but extremely nice. Everything, from the initial site visit, to questions and updates to the contract, to the execution of the work (setting up, acoustic removal, clean up, and waste management) was done professionally and with great care by Michael C. and his team. Communication throughout the process was very good, and I received pictures and updates as they were doing the work. They managed to finish 1 day ahead of schedule as well. I'll note that you do need to hire someone else to do the ceiling resurfacing and painting, which is another hit to the budget, but PEAS was upfront about what was/wasn't included with the cost. I was initially hopeful when a female answered the phone! I have had such horrible experiences as a single female homeowner. Unfortunately when the "project manager" called, his tone was immediately annoyed at the very notion I would have something removed from my home. Even after trying to explain what it was, his attitude was that of annoyance i didn't know what the pipe was called. If you are female, you understand the tone; it's belittling. After powering through the call and even sending pics and a video of the area needing attention, I phoned the office back and canceled. I'm no longer tolerating being belittled by men. And I am definitely not allowing them access to my home. It didn't end there. That would have been the end of it; no review needed but he took it on himself to phone me and text me. Nope. I again called the office to inform them. I had a feeling and now I'm glad I listened to it. I'm also leaving this review in the off chance that man gets ahold of my address. I hired this company to remove the asbestos from my floor after have used another one to remove a wall and part of the floor. I couldn't be happier. They gave a quote next day and dealt with the insurance accordingly. I got the job very well done and they even removed my furniture.
