Americanvalet.com at Heritage Square parking in Flagstaff Arizona is absolutely worthless. My wife made the mistake of using the QR code that was posted on the wall in the parking lot to pay for her parking. She thought she had done everything correct and we went to an appointment with a nearby law firm. When we returned about 30 minutes later, they slapped on a non visible boot and an unreadable notice on our vehicle. My wife used the kiosk to pay them again and got a kiosk receipt. Then we drove and heard a loud clunk clunk, causing damage to our tire. My wife went to another website where she had to pay $160 to get the five digit code to the combination for the boot. We tried to contact americanvalet.com using two separate phone numbers, but nobody answered our call and nobody called back. in addition, we looked all over the parking garage at Heritage Square in downtown Flagstaff and there was no parking attendant to be found anywhere! This company is a bunch of greedy bastards who don't care about anything but taking your money and making your life miserable! The city of Flagstaff should boot them out and get a parking service company that is customer friendly. read more

They make the parking easy and make sure we have nothing to worry about for after hours. We were visiting Flagstaff. Parked in a American Valet lot. Didn't realize it was a pre pay lot, multiple signs do not make it clear. Parked for 2 hours, returned and there was a boot on the car. Had to pay $160 to remove, ticket was $100. Absolute highway robbery for what was supposed to be $6. First, I think it's fraudulent to not "in bold" signage to indicate that it is prepay or your car will be booted. 2nd, $100 for a parking ticket is ridiculous. Even cities that need ticket money for revenue charge a typical $30-50 for a regular parking ticket, but $100 is messed up. We have no lots like this in our area, was totally blindsided. We are going to try and fight it but I expect with this type of greed, they will not budge read more

Don't know which office this guy is from but the guy doing valet at Honor Health Deer Valley Hospital needs an attitude adjustment as he was very rude not only once but twice! When He brought me my car both times, he looked down at the dollar tip I gave him like "that's all your going to give me"? How rude!! Today when he did the same thing, I told him "don't do that, that's very rude". He then also did the same thing to my friend! Maybe we should have skipped the tip altogether!! read more

American Valet's Shuttle Service at Dignity Health is awful. Employees walking in 120 degree heat and they never run shuttles per their contracted schedule. Yesterday, the hottest day of the year, no shuttle at all. Employees of Dignity Health standing out in the Sun, that's right the stops for pick ups in employee lots have no overhead coverage, with no shuttle running. The contract Dignity Health has with American Valet should be torn up. An employee is going to die of heat stroke and Dignity is putting their employees at risk because of inadequate parking and contracting services to this company. read more

We received a $160 fine for being 20 mins late. I was intending to pay for the additional time if necessary but they had already booted my car. I called to get support and the person who answered (Aaron) was extremely rude and was unable to help me reach a manager. This garage is poorly managed, they rob your money with no hesitation. From hotels and restaurants to private residences, I've used American Valet dozens of times since I've moved here 2 yrs ago. They're very professional and do a great job. The prices are reasonable too....when you have to pay, it's typically $5 to get your car parked...not bad. I always leave a few bucks in my ashtray compartment to see if it gets stolen and it hasn't happened once with these guys. This company is trying to bring up a court case against my friend who was hit on her bicycle by a valet driver leaving a parking garage. She was in the hospital for a day and the company is refusing to pay all medical expenses. The driver who hit her was valeting a car for Dignity Health. He did not tell the person who owned that car that he hit a girl on her bike who was heading to class with it. Terrible. And the fact that Dignity Health is associated with it is laughable. read more

The team reached out to me on the day of the event to ensure we were aligned and to let me know all was in good hands. I was worried about the storm, but they brought along their own pop-up tent and even some courtesy umbrellas! The staff on site was on time, professional and did a fantastic job with guests and the weather! This company is irresponsible and is just out to make money at the risk of peoples safety. We parked in their lot last night in Flagstaff and as two old ladies with previous broken bones, their lot was so full of ice we couldnt get to the pay booth. We ate at a restaurant that paid for parking in that lot, but when we came out our car was booted and we had to pay $100!!!! This is wrong on so many levels. Went to a ball game the other day and parked in the lot right by Gate H for the press. Immediately after pulling up, I had two guys at my vehicle. Both greeted me professionally. One took my car and the other gave me my ticket. When I returned, they said hello again, grabbed my ticket and ran like hell to get my vehicle. The whole experience was great. They were professional and worked hard to get my vehicle. Gave them a $5 tip for the service. read more

Avoid these folks at all costs. I've seen the valets run stop signs, jump curbs and nearly wreck into cars and pedestrians while retrieving cars. I understand they may be in a hurry but no need to risk lives. read more

I went to the grand opening for the Twin Arrows Casino just outside of Flagstaff and was amazed at the level of service I received when using the free valet. It was extreemly busy (10 cars infront of me) when I got there (I waited 4 minutes until I was greeted by a valet), but as soon as I spoke to the valet I was impressed with the service he provided under such busy conditions. He took the time and made me feel I was the only car in line. Great Job! When I came out of the casino I was impressed with how quick it seemed to get my car back. OOOOOO American Valet. The things I know about this company. I worked for this company and have seen the terrible things that this company does. Not only is this a horrible company to work for but also to use. Lets say you have your car parked with AV (american valet) and its get damaged, lost, or stole. The owner Mike Pendergraft WILL NOT PAY FOR THE DAMAGES. The valets will write out claims and do their best to calm the owner of the vehicle down. As soon as you call corporate they will give you the run around. Telling you that they are investigating the situation and will give you a call back. Of course you wont ever get a call back and they will begin ignoring your calls. The only way to get money back from damages is to take them to court. AV is all over the valley of Phoenix. American Valley may have great customer service but when it comes to their employees they treat him like crap they're so easy to fire they make them wait for their paychecks just so the corporate can have a four day weekend and then tell their employees that they put their checks in the mail never mind that the employees get paid every two weeks and then be told that he checks in the mail but we all know how the mail is that's why we have e-mail I would say the people in corporate are selfish and heartless to make people wait to get paid knowing they have rent to pay and families to feed.. read more

This is not a five star company. I was doing a presentation at TGEN in downtown Phoenix this afternoon. I had a lot of large items to carry for this presentation. There were no parking places except valet on the first floor. Therefore I parked in the valet section and waited for the valet to return to get a ticket and pay for this place. He returned. He was rude. He told me he could not accept my service. He told me I would be towed. He did not offer to help carry the items. He said Good Luck or something like that and ran off. Try to avoid using this company and park yourself. No need to give rude people like this your business. read more
