We are first time owners of an above ground pool which was not properly closed by the prior owners…read more I chose this company because of the fabulous reviews by people like us that needed hand holding opening a pool. Our situation was worse then expected and Pool Bros lived up to their reputation walking us through each problem we had. The filter was broken, water was leaking when we tried to add water, parts were missing, and the cover had a hole. From David who told us exactly what we needed to purchase, to Chris the service tech and Dan who called to explain the situation, Pool Bros are miracle workers. Chris was cool calm and collected through the whole pool opening experience, assuring us it was going to be ok and he did, in fact, open the pool despite the multiple obstacles that he encountered. We are very happy!

I paid $3,098 for Pool Bros' Complete Maintenance package for the season, expecting exactly…read morethat--complete maintenance. I met with them during the opening and trusted their professional recommendations. Once I was no longer there supervising, however, it became one additional charge after another. They identified plumbing issues and recommended that I pay to have the plumbing redone. I followed their recommendation and paid the additional cost. Yet the leaks that were part of the reason for addressing the plumbing still weren't resolved, and I was then faced with attempts to charge me even more. I have no problem paying for legitimate repairs that are clearly outside a maintenance contract. My problem is paying $3,098 for complete seasonal maintenance, approving additional work they recommended, and still repeatedly being presented with more charges while the underlying issues remain. For anyone considering them, my advice is simple: get every detail in writing and question every additional charge before approving anything. They got me this season. Never again. Stay away.

Proceed with caution. Once you pay them the final dollar, you will never hear from them again, even…read moreif the entire project falls apart afterwards. They do not stand by their work. They are great sales people; they will schmooze you to try and get your business. They'll sell you on all these amazing things that they will do for you and treat you like you are family during the process. It is all a façade. Three days after they finished, the fence they put in started to fall apart. Maybe because they had 1 poor soul build it by himself. That was a red flag. 6 weeks of kindly, patiently reaching out. 5x "we'll be there at the end of the week" and never showing up. Know what you're getting into. There are a lot of companies like this. Find one that will stand by their work for the long term.

Adding to my review. I will NEVER use this company again. When I originally called the service…read moredepartment it was to check out the pool because water was leaking. I was told they would look at pool, pump, and filter to decide if we needed to do a pressure test. We were told after the technician came out that we needed new pipes. The pipes were charged at almost $4,000 and the pool was still leaking water. After a little back and forth. I was told they never looked at the filter and they only preformed the pressure test. Had I known the filter was not going to be looked I would have called another pool company. The fix for the pool was a 13.00 cap, that was lost as they changed the pipes. A whole season of not using the pool and 4,000 down the drain (literally).
