I Will Definitely use this service next time I need a ride ! I was getting very stressed getting my travel arrangements set. This company was awesome ! I had gone thru Jayride to set up my reservation. But when I got the e mail confirmation, it was backwards! Stressing me out even more . I was traveling the very next day ! So I found the e mail address to ask a question and I received a phone # to call, so I did . And he was Awesome ! Told me not to worry, he'd be there . The next day my plane was a little early getting in but I had a text from Hum , my driver, before I even got off the plane and the next thing I know, there he is ! He even sent me a picture of the vehicle he was in with the plates showing, Big help ! I will Definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a ride ! Great job ! Love you guys ! read more

I would prefer to give this company 0 stars. Made a reservation for my BOSS with this shuttle company, and they never showed up. They were supposed to pick him up in Orange County, and take him to LAX. When no one showed, I called the number provided on their website and Yelp page, and it went straight to voicemail. When I called today to try to find out what happened, the owner (I assume) Six, told me that he was out of town but he sent his "driver" to pick my boss up....and so it was his driver that never showed. Why is there not a number given to customers of the driver that will come to pick you up? Why would you, the owner of the business, turn off your phone when that is the ONLY phone number that is provided to customers? When I called to complain, Six didn't really give a crap that his driver just never showed up. He said next time he will give me "big discount". Don't worry, Six, there will NEVER be a next time. I will be reporting this business to the dept. of consumer affairs, maybe the BBB if I have the time. The other reviews of this company must be paid for, seriously. read more

Top-notch service with very reasonable prices. They were extremely accommodating with our last minute plans and helpful with providing some special requests with our rides to and from LGB. I had a pleasant experience with this shuttle service. When I went to the Philippines with my family, I came home early so, I needed a ride home from the airport. I searched the internet and came across the american shuttle website. While I was in the Philippines I was able to make a reservation online which was very convenient. They also have price quotes on the website, which was nice to know. The driver was on time, nice and friendly. He kept the conversation going so the ride never felt awkward. I definitely recommend them if you need a shuttle. read more

Great experience with this airport shuttle service. I needed to find transportation for my elderly mother from LGB to her home. I called and they were very informative, knew of my concern and were right on top of things. I texted Hum my mother's flight info, he texted back confirming the rate and itinerary information. The day of pick up, his driver called to let me know he was at the airport. Hum also texted to let me know his driver was there. They picked up at curbside, helped her with her bags, drove her out to San Bernardino Cty and carried her bags to the door. Very courteous, drove safely and without having to make any stops to pick up other passengers. My mom said that the mini van she rode in was clean, new and she was comfortable in her 1.5 hr ride home. When Momma's happy, EVERYONE's happy!! :) Recommend this company and plan to use them again for future trips. Ok I had the very fortunate luck when I decided to call American Shuttle. The man who helped me on the phone was " Hum" and just by that telephone call I knew he was a keeper. Hum was the one who picked me up and my experience was 5* from start to finish. He is the sweetest person and kind and professional all at the same time. He is the one and only service I will use now. Three times and it's now definete. He is very fair on his fees and will accomodate you per your requests. I certainly recommend him to anyone. Another nice plus is you are his only passenger so you get one on one attention. Another wonderful bit of information I learned is that he will take you anywhere you need to go to. Example. he took a whole family to San Fransisco and another familt to Las Vegas. Wow I was pretty excited to learn this because I am retired and hate driving. I was referred by a very close friend of mine for shuttle service. We had Alex as our driver to and from LAX for our international trip. Very prompt, courteous, and helpful with our luggage. I needed a shuttle company to pickup my father at LAX and bring him to Orange County. All the popular large business shuttle companies had some serious negative reviews so I called American Shuttle. I am glad I did. They communicated well with me and called my dad when his plane arrived. They picked up my dad at baggage claim and help him with his bags (as he is an older gentleman) to a waiting car. He was their only fare that trip so his trip was direct from the airport to my home. I was also able to use a Yelp coupon for this business. I was very impressed with this company and would highly recommend them. read more

After reading through reviews I decided to reach out and secure transportation for my ride home from LB airport. I liked that Hum was very up to date with technology and asked me that I text him my info. Some may not find that professional but it really helped. I text him while at the airport in Austin that I was on my way and Hum responded immediately that he was expecting my daughter and I. Upon my arrival into LGB I already had a text from Hum that he had arrived and to let him know when I was there. Once we landed, he then directed me exactly where to meet him. Hum graciously sat and awaited our arrival and greeted us with a smile. Once we got to the vehicle, he went out of his way to not only load my bags but asked if I wanted a car seat. He carries car seats and a booster for those in need...BIG win for me! He was kind enough to install the seat and never once lost his smile. He had us home in a jiffy, took the stress off me after a long trip and did so for a reasonable price!! Def WILL be booking again for future travel! read more

Used American Shuttle from John Wayne Airport to LAX, paid with my credit card. My suspicion was correct, next day my credit card was being used all over the USA. Do not use this shuttle service if you want to have peace of mind, regarding your credit card. read more

I hired the services and they did not appear I called them they did not answer I left messages they did not respond. After 13 hours flight and all that airport stress they just left me there without an explanation an answer...nothing... 3 hours later when I was at home already because I paid for a taxi, they sent me a message saying: Sorry about that. read more

Woh, I just got a chance to read a couple of the reviews. One guy gave a 1 star and my experience was no where near that. I had a ride to the airport, but my friend wasn't able to pick me up on my way back so I Yelped around and found American Shuttle. They had the BEST PRICE after calling 2 other door to door services. Upon my first call, I got an answer. Told the guy what I needed and was quoted something I felt was reasonable for door to door service. I was getting picked up from LAX to Santa Fe Springs. I was flying back from Vegas on a business trip. The plane was delayed more than 20 minutes. It was the end of the day, my battery was on 8% before our plane took off. I had texted him my picture hoping my phone wouldn't die. And if it did, he would be able to recognize me telling him our flight was delayed and Spirit as CHEAP as it is really lives up to it. I will leave that for another review. OMG. Terrible. Ok, back to American Shuttle. I finally landed at LAX. I walked out to pick up as I had no luggage. I was able to make a call out which he told me he was already there, but stuck in the long mess at LAX. He told me what he was driving and gave me a status as he got closer. The pick up zone was packed. Everybody taking their time and the patrol guy couldn't push these guys fast enough. I was able to ID the vehicle, I ran to the far lane, jumped in and we were on our way. I got the driver Hum, that's his name. Fairly nice guy. Drives pretty careful. I sat up front as I was the only fare. From LAX curb to my doorstep, $45 + $5 tip. Good to go, can't complain. I highly recommend and will use again. read more

I travelled with my young family from NZ to LA over the Easter Break in April. Not knowing the place is hard enough and finding transport was a concern until I met Hum from American Shuttle, LLC. American Shuttle, LLC was absolutely fabulous. Hum was always on time and the service was just awesome.
