let me start this review by saying that I have been burned by auto mechanic repair stores in the past, most of the time because I think I'm female and shops just are going to assume I don't know what I'm talking about. And yes, that has happened to me before. But given the experience I had at American tire depot in La Crescenta, I will never go anywhere else to have my car worked on again no matter what. my husband reminded me that you can go to some tire stores and they will fix holes for free, this is definitely true at American tire depot. So one afternoon I took my vehicle to see if I could get this tire fixed. Jason helped me out; and while I had to go home and come back because I have a BMW and we have weird tools you need to get tires off of the car, they did fix my tire for free and all was good in the world. But in fixing my tire, they also noticed that my rear brakes were all screwed up. Jared, the tech who helped me out this time, was able to look up parts and labor rates and gave me a quote within five minutes. I went in today to get the brakes fixed... and [[HIGHLIGHT]]on two different occasions the technician came to the waiting room to sit down and explain to me what actually was wrong with my brakes. They had photos, they showed me the parts themselves, why things had been installed incorrectly previously, and all that jazz.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]and they were just as kind as they could be, not talking down to me because I'm a female who doesn't understand cars, but explaining everything to me because I'm a customer, and they want my business back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] which they are going to get! I learned that I'm also going to need to replace the brake calipers. It's going to be pricey, but Jared said they would forward me a quote as soon as possible. Came here because my back tire was low, turns out there was a nail in it. Nice guys that work here. Offer free tire rotations and is local in La Crescenta. I feel more comfortable here than the nearby Tires 4 less where they are always trying to rip you off. Unfortunately not the lowest prices around, but they'll match discount tire and a few others. Check prices to be sure, but they'll price match and do offer convenience. It's always nice to support the local la Crescenta places. You can make an appt online and it's always fairly quick. read more

I have a 911 Turbo and always concerned where I take this car for any kind of service! Had a nail in left front Perilli and very professional with super care guven for tire removal. They were fast and quick 30 min from time of appt. Prices for tires are equal ir better than Costco. Wow! How lucky was I. I had a flat tire and there's a couple tire shops in the neighborhood but decided to go here. So glad that I did. They are exceptionally friendly and quick. There is also a Starbucks less than a block away so it was easy to walk over and continue working with a cup of tea. They also have a board that gives you your estimated wait time. Which is helpful for the longer jobs. Turns out I had a 10 inch nail in my tire an they were able to take care of it and patch me right up. Appreciate you all! I highly recommend coming read more

Nail in tire. Not only did American Tire Depot remove it (for free), they also found ANOTHER nail in the same tire and removed THAT one (for free). This was done in roughly 12 min (or quicker!) after arriving. I arrived with an iced coffee and left the shop with my fixed tire after taking 3 sips. Fantastic team over here at ATD. read more

These guys discovered that not only did I need a new tire, but that the wheel was cracked. The price on the tire was awesome and they had it in stock, and then they allowed me to leave it there while I hunted down a new wheel which they will install hopefully tomorrow once it arrives. Due to LA roads, I've had to deal with yet another nail in my tire in the span of two months. Although the experience of another thing on the to do list is stressful (e.g. most tire shops being closed on a Sunday), American Tire Depot made the whole experience seamless. I was able to make a last minute appointment online for a tire check. When I came in my name was already on the board and I didn't have to wait at all. Garni told me he saw the nail in my tire and had his fingers crossed that it was repairable. It was repairable and they were able to send me on my way! Although other places charge for a tire repair, American Tire Depot does it free of charge and there was no upselling on tires if you genuinely did not need it. I had such a great experience here! I came in with a screw in my rear driver side tire, and they repaired it completely free of charge. (Another nearby establishment quoted me $35). Every employee I interacted with was kind, courteous, and genuinely helpful. My tire was fixed in about half an hour, and the technician who worked on it was amazing -- fast, skilled, and clearly someone who takes pride in their work. It's rare to find people who enjoy their jobs and go out of their way to help customers, so I made sure to leave him a nice tip. Truly outstanding service. I'm grateful and will definitely be back! Made an appointment to get my tires changed on a Saturday morning recently. Young guy on the desk was very pleasant during my visit and was very courteous to customers who were calling during my time there. I was impressed and told him so. Tire replacement went off without a hitch. They had a hiccup with their card reader across the company but fortunately, it was fixed before I left. The alternative was cash or leave your credit card number which i wasn't too keen on doing. This is my second visit to ATD (last one was in Burbank) and both times Ive been happy with the prices and customer service. I came in here about 2 weeks ago after work because my tires air pressure kept showing it was low. Even with my tires rotated this one tire has continued to cause this problem. I went in there thinking I might need a new tire or just added pressure, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]Jared was super honest and did so much to give me reassurance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I told him the tire was patched a few years ago, and he managed to check where the patch was, saw it wasn't good, repatched it, and gave me honest feedback which I appreciated as a lot of times body shops/tire shops just want you to make expensive purchases. Feel like a VIP. Called on the way home due to a nail in the tire (tire pressure wasn't dropping so I chanced it). Called and spoke with Mathew. He said they could take care of it and he would put me in the system. Got there 20 minutes later, they set me up and patched it while I waited. Took no more than 20 minutes and I was on my way. I pass by 2 tire places to get here from my house, but it's well worth it. read more
