I purchased the ROADIAN ATX all-terrain tires, and I could definitely feel the difference while driving on the freeway. The ride feels great, and I'm happy with my choice. They also took the extra time to clean the corrosion off my battery, which I really appreciated. American Tire Depot - Our blowout tire, which was replaced. - Tires Near Me - Vista, California

I rotated my tires and noticed my front tires had a little inside wear. My vehicle is very low mileage, but I thought I should see if I needed a front wheel alignment. American tire depot offered a free alignment check and then a discount on their website if an alignment was needed. I made an appointment on their website. When I arrived, Eric assisted me. Immediately he looked at my rear tires and said I would have to replace my rear tires since they had excessive wear from a misalignment, this was ridiculous since the vehicle and tires had less than 15,000 miles on them and had very minor inside wear. To make a long story short I had them do a front end alignment on my vehicle. I discovered driving away that the steering wheel was not straight approximately 1/8 turn to the right when driving straight and if you took your hands off the wheel between 35 and 45 mph the vehicle pulled significantly to the left. Neither of these issues existed when I brought my vehicle in. I returned and demanded that Eric go on a test drive with me to see the problem. He then had the technician redo the front end alignment. It was then he admitted to me that they didn't have the proper equipment to do a camber adjustment on a Lexus vehicle of my make and year. This is a "sell up" joint and not equipped to do proper work on newer vehicles. Proceed with caution, especially if you're unfamiliar with vehicle repair. read more

Was guilty of buying cheap tires off Amazon about a year ago. Long story short, could never get those cheap tires to balance right. Been here before with a different vehicle years ago and they had a great sale on a set of Toyo Open Country R/T's. They got me in and out of there quick, did a great job mounting and balancing (watched them hand thread the lugs on FIRST!) Truck rides so smooth and no steering wheel shakes at higher speed. One of my tires had a leak, which was caused by an object in the edge of the tread. Because of the location of the puncture, the tire could not be patched. The leak was large enough that it was not practical to delay replacement. American Tire was able to order and install two new tires the next day, and those new tires are a good tread and size match with the rear tires. I shopped around for best pricing on four Micheline Defender 2 tires and a synthetic oil change and found American Tire, who was running a "Spooktacular Special". I called and was advised the best way to order and set an appointment was online, which I did. I received an appointment confirmation and an "out the door" invoice of $984.02. The items listed included all four tires with associated fees and the synthetic oil change listed at "$0"...which would lead one to believe that cost was rolled into the total. Was met by Eric the next day fir an 8:30 AM appointment and got the car in the bay. Went to get coffee and got a call from Eric saying the cost of the oil change was actually not included and I would need to pay for it. I advised the "invoice" showed my out the door price, to which I was told that was an internet software error. I expressed my displeasure with a suddenly added cost increase, to which Eric said he would talk to the manager Niu Tuitasi. When the car was ready about an hour and 15 min later (very quickly considering four tires and an oil change), Eric advised that he would make an adjustment with Nuis approval to include the Oil Change. This was an outstanding "customer facing" way to handle an issue. My belief is that problems WILL arise, its how a company remediates the issue that matters. I highly recommend this shop. I also recommend that if you use the online appointment scheduling tool, the invoice you get may not include the cost of some services and you should confirm by a call with American locally to ensure you know what you will pay. Its a software issue and American Tire Depot is addressing it. Car looked great, nice new "meats" and it ran smoothly with the oil change. Thanks Eric and Niu for a GREAT experience! read more

Came here because of the number of good reviews. Employees were friendly, and service was seemingly fast. Once I got home and looked at the invoice, I saw why that service was so fast. A couple services I had requested were apparently just ignored. I had told a few of the employees there on the day my car was being maintained that I had recently struck something with my front passenger tire, and wanted to make sure my alignment & brakes were still in good condition.
