I eat from Americano at least twice a week. I love their Blue Mediterranean Salad, which is enough for 2 meals, and their patty melt is amazing. You can get a wide variety of soft drinks, including Mexican cokes, and they make great milk shakes and floats. Their prices are very reasonable, by Seattle standards. This place is legit! Drive by all the time. Visited when they first opened and got the basic burger, which was sub-par so I wrote the place off. But a good friend urged me to go back and get one of the sandwiches. I got the chicken baguette, which was juicy with a delicious marinade, grilled onions and jalapeños, on a crispy baguette. I'm loving it! I've heard the steak sandwich and gyro are also very popular. And super nice staff. Great sandwich and nice staff and quick and convenient. What's not to love. read more

Arrived 15min before closing and got the special of the day (Gyro, fries and a soda for less than 10 bucks). People couldn't be nicer even tho I was there close to closing. And the sandwich: it was AMAZING. I usually hate pita bread, but this one was soft and pillowy on the inside and grilled crispy on the outside. Yuuuuummm. I was semi skeptical of this place, for no other reason than I was grieving the loss of my fave Mexican place, Josefina's, which sold their space to Americano. Welp, my skepticism was totally unjustified, because this place is SO good! A mix of Greek, American, and classic comfort food. I've tried lots of menu items: the fish sandwich, the ham and cheese sandwich, the veggie burger, the Greek fries/regular fries/zucchini fries, and everything was so so good. Their burgers are very good, as are their gyros. Even the regular size burgers are BIG, so you best be famished if you order a double! Liked the fried zucchini sticks too. Yummy. -Skip the fish 'n chips (unless it's for kids), they compared to something out of the frozen section of the grocery store (except more expensive at $9.99). Go for the burgers. The fries are just okay. We haven't yet tried the salads or more of the greek offerings, but I'm betting they're pretty good. And I really want to try one of their milkshakes! They make them in a lot of flavors using Italian soda syrup. They do cook to order, so everything is good and hot - a real plus is you're taking it to go! Atmosphere-wise, it's just okay, the sort of place where you eat fast and leave. It has little tables and chairs, no booths, & the chairs aren't particularly comfortable. Every time we've gone we were the only ones eating there. But it's clean, and the staff is friendly and accomodating. All in all, it's a good place and I hope they stick around! read more

Yes, you do need to wait for a table...we waited for 45 minutes. It is not a large restaurant! The food was delicious and the servers were fast and very nice. We have had the burgers, fish, club sandwich, and salads. All have been excellent.
