This is possibly the best or one of the best opticians and optometrists office I have ever been in. They took great care in ensuring my safety during Covid 19. They wash all glasses after you try them on. All staff were wearing masks and were adhearing to all precautions. Staff were wiping down counters and desks. Social distancing was in force. Moreover they have a very caring and compassionate staff. I had outstanding customer service. They were welcoming and they got my glasses in when they said they would. They accept a wide variety of insurance plans. Prices were reasonable and the quality and selection of frames were excellent. I would recommend them without any reservation. read more

Again another disappointment. After this location promised me my glasses today after loosing them a month ago, once again i STILL didn't receive them. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE AGAIN. I had to wait 3.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time before i left the building with my receipt in hand and the expectations it was finally over. 12 days later I went to get my glasses and everything was so blurred i wouldn't have been able to find my car! I told them something wasn't right. I was then told my eyes needed to adjust... I assured them the prescription wasn't even close to being correct. I was told I could come in another day for an exam. I informed them they had lost my confidence and asked for a refund. They offered to refund me 20 of the 110 dollars I spent telling me i couldn't be refunded for the exam. What good is an exam if the glasses aren't right? I contacted their customer care which informed me the same. I have a relative that told me they treated her the same way. Not sure if it's race related or just terrible customer service but if you are white I advise you to stay far away! read more

Terrible service I went to do my eye exam and it took about 2 1/2 hours and that's not even the worse part, they were out of my contact lenses so I needed contacts right then so I went to the Conyers location on to find out my prescription was wrong and they said it was no telling how long I would have had to wait to get it changed so I waited a week, I've been rocking one contact for a week!!!!!!! cause all they had was one side of my prescription right only to get back and they tell me that my prescription is still wrong and there is nothing that they can do, like are you serious ? Now I have to drive back to Covington and get a paper prescription just so I can get my contacts. This really might be my last time dealing with Americas best. It takes a lot for me to write a review. Terrible!!!! read more

when i say never i mean never will i ever go to this place again! they cancelled my appointment on 7 different occassions after confirming every time, taking off work only to get there to find out your kick out the system and cancelled every single time. they need to close down. then i was given the wrong prescription to begin completly off had me walking around with triple vision. please just close down and no one has common sense and eye dr's now working from home. just lazy! read more

I am extremely disappointed in their lack of customer service. I had an appointment scheduled for in person for over a month. I arrived for my scheduled appointment in person only for them to tell me it's now remote!! I CANNOT do remote as I'm diabetic, and I need to physically see a doctor. The courteous thing for them to do was give me a courtesy call to let me know things had changed instead of letting me arrive, on time mind you, and spring it on me. This is hopefully the exception but just basing it one my one experience. I made an appointment weeks in advance. There was a wait of over an hour to see the doctor. Then there was an additional wait to get a sales person. After an hour and a half I had to leave for another appointment and just ask if I could get a copy of my prescription. End to end to was about an 1:45 to get out of there and that was without a glasses fitting. Looks like they're training new people, hopefully they get things running more smoothly soon. read more

Made an appointment. They sent me several reminders. I honored the time of my appointment and was there on time. They however see you as a number in an assembly line. Several others in front of me and one person doing exams. My time is as important as theirs is. The person doing the exams made no attempt to speak to anyone and give any indication of the wait time. I came to this place 2 weeks ago. They rescheduled me to the one in Conyers because the remote doctor was not in. I said ok. At that point, I just wanted to see the in house doctor. The General Manager, Jacob Farino; said that on my final price I would get 50% off. I said ok because I had been waiting 3 hours to see a doctor. I missed 3 hours of work that day. Today, March 24th at 11:50am I went to the location in Conyers for my appointment. As I redid the eye exam, saw the in house doctor, I waited to pay and finish the process. I was told that I couldn't get the 50% off with my insurance and I would get 50% off if I paid without insurance. They claimed that it couldn't be done and that none of it was in my file. Even though, when Jacob gave me that 50% off, they called and verified right in front of me. The lady at the location in Conyers supposedly forgot to add the left lens that I picked out. Then when she added it in, the price was $170.00. I'm like, you're are playing, right? She was like No! I told her "No, Deal." She gave me my prescription numbers and I left. I called the one back in Covington and they said Jacob stepped out and he was running errands. I drove over to that location and was told her was on a conference call for an hour. That was after 1:30pm. I was supposed to be at work at 11:30am but my boss let me take care of this. It is couple minutes to 4pm and I still have not seen Jacob. The only reason I go there is to get the Heartland Collection frames because no one else sells them. I am very unsatisfied and will be reach out to someone in corporate because this is very unacceptable. read more
