What can I say about Dr. Kyle Jones. I have been going to him for over 20yrs. I have had the best experience everyone I go to see him. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. He has a great sense of humor and personality. He is caring and kind. He found a pituitary tumor in my left eye. When I had my surgery, he checked on me and I was so humbled by fact that he wanted to check on me. I now live I Dacula and it's an hour drive. I will take it every time because he is worth dealing with 85 traffic. read more

The good thing I can say about Georgia Eye Center is they really take a deep look into your eyes/vision to see if you have any eye diseases/ other issues going on with your eyes & the doctor is very sweet & helpful. The workers are super nice & helpful as well. The bad part is I picked out a pair of glasses and I really liked them when I tried them on and when I finally got them they weren't the same exact ones that I picked out. The glasses were way bigger than the ones I tried on that day and now they don't fit my face they keep falling down and when I told them about it they said in order for me to change my glasses I have to make another appointment & be charged $60 or more if I want to change the frames.. read more

Dr. Jones came highly recommended by other specialists and didn't disappoint. He is excellent at explaining complex eye issues and helped me perfect custom hard contacts for my specific condition (kerataconus) that greatly improved my quality of life. So, I went here because I have a raggedy phone and a piece of the glass from my phone fell in my eye. My OLD eye Dr didn't have any appointments available to see me so I started calling around. I was able to get an appointment with a Dr to treat this irritation left in my eye. I continue to be pleased with the level of medical service I receive here. The wait was reasonable. I will say that depending on the front office staff on duty on a given day, the level of professionalism will vary. They have a team that is ON IT and another team that is ... present. I won't hold that against the Dr's but they should be aware of this. The wait time was reasonable, the staff was mostly professional and my experience continues to be pleasant. And since my old Dr refused to see me when I had an emergency, they just may be my new one. read more

Dr. Kyle Jones is the best at what he does and his office staff Daphne, Cristina and Erica are friendly, helpful and professional. Dr Jones has been my eye Doctor for over 10 years. I am a diabetic and it is important that I have proper eye care. The center has a very good selection of eye wear and contacts. The Office is Clean and the eye exam is thorough. I switched to Georgia eye center from Eye physicians and surgeons on Scott Blvd. I love Georgia eye center because they attend to you in a very reasonable amount of time, I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen. The Dr is very thorough and uses newer technology than the average optometrist. This cuts down on time and Dr Jones is very knowledgeable and will answer any questions or concerns. I definitely recommend this practice. read more

so i be frank and polite but i will not NOT be recommending them to anyone. they er customer service was extremely rude. idk who erika is (ie wife or family memeber) but she is def rude. when i walked in she was rude to me and my bf making snide comments and what. smh it went from 10 to 14 business days to about 2 months just for glasses. ive lost a whole job waiting on them and almost lost the job i have now waiting on them. they are unprofessional and rude and u don't have toworry about my buiness anymore, especially after the wait ive had the serivice yall gave me. i would say to anyone DO NOT go to them ur better off at vision works next door to aldi at least ull receive your stuff in a timely manner and the staff is really polite read more

People are great and friendly. Place is clean. However the customer service has declined over the years. What use to take a week to get hard contacts back has turned into 6 weeks sometimes. No phone call, email, text, carrier pigeon or snail mail to inform me about the status of my expensive contacts. Phone calls go un returned. I called to inquire about my contacts i got excuses about the manufacturers screw up and that they would expedite my order and it should be in in about 3 days. I got a call less than 24 hrs later and they were in office...sounds fishy to me. My eye exam and fitting for hard contacts was in January fast forward 6 months and still no wearable contacts. Im on my 3rd refitting and im guessing i won't get those until September maybe August. I have been a faithful client for 5 years. 2016 is when things got bad. I was overlooked for my appointment and waited an hour. Dr. Jones saw me sitting and asked what's going on. I can't even wear the contacts from 2016 because I got tired of driving 45 minutes. I will get correct fitting contacts this year. But I won't be back 2018 if this is the kind of service I will receive. My time is valuable. read more

Dr. Jones has been my family eye Dr. for over 10 years. I have referred all of my friends and family to his practice. The service you receive from the moment you walk through the door is wonderful. They make you feel as if you are a priority at all times. Dr. Jones listens to my needs and has a genuine interest in my concerns. He explains everything to me thoroughly. BEWARE...especially if you have Keratoconus! I've never written a review, but I really feel the need to let others know about the poor quality of service I received at Georgia Eye Center. It's been almost a year since I last saw Dr. Jones, and the way I was treated still weighs heavy on me, so I've decided to write this review. I visited him because I was having extreme pain in my eyes and a read circle where the contacts suction to them (scleral lenses) while wearing the contacts he prescribed me. He told me this wasn't a contact lens issue and if I come back again complaining about my eyes, he would charge me full price for my visit instead of sending it to my insurance because this isn't a contact issue. Seriously? Oh, it gets better. I told him, through my tears bc I was in so much pain, that I was just diagnosed with a thyroid condition and maybe it was causing excessive dry eyes...I was desperate for some sort of explanation and some sort of relief. He then proceeded to tell me that I have so much stress in my life (I don't), and I should consider going to see his friend...a psychologist, and that he would recommend me for a corneal transplant. So, now I'm crazy and need a transplant?!? I walked out so mad, and never returned. Thankfully I got a second opinion for the transplant and that doc sent me to a different lens specialist. He told me my prescription was way, way off and thus, CUTTING OFF THE CIRCULATION TO MY CORNEAS. He told me that I don't need a transplant; I just need contacts that fit correctly. He sent me my new lenses and they are amazing. I have worn them for 12+ hours every day since then (almost a year) and never once had any discomfort. Shame on you Dr. Jones. I'm not sure how you sleep at night when you put patients through so much pain. If you were not qualified to help me, you should have referred me to someone who is instead of allowing me to suffer for 4 months! read more

I have been getting eye care here for 10+ years. I find the staff and doctors to be professional and personable. Dr. Jones is my doctor, and he is a good listener who adjusts to my needs and feedback. They do make an assumptive close that you will buy your eyewear from them. If I don't find what I like here though, I shop around and buy product where I feel is best. On the whole, there are good reasons I've been back year after year, and I would recommend them. read more

Horrible. Dr. Jones is horrible. I went there and the contacts I received, I could barely see out of. On top of that, every other doctor I have gone to schedules a follow up appointment to make sure the contact fit. He was so arrogant he did not. He ordered the contacts and had me pay for them. So, I had to go back the next day and get the exact same prescription I had before. On top of this, the have a questionnaire you fill out once you arrive. I elected NOT to have the extra $90 service the VSP insurance does not cover. They charged me for it anyways. So you charge an extra $90 and I cannot see and I had to create my own follow up appointment. He spent most of the time attempting to sell some stupid reverse contacts instead of getting my prescription right. Save yourself some time and $$$ and go somewhere else. read more

I've been a patient of Georgia Eye Center since the mid '90s, first with Dr. William Kulbersh and then as a patient of Dr. Kyle Jones when he took over the practice in the early 2000s. Dr. Jones, Dr. Gowdy, and their staff are incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable. Dr. Jones is extremely well-versed in his field, keeps up to date on the latest technology, and will take the time to thoroughly answer your questions and address your concerns. For emergency or medical eye issues, I've always been seen the same day. Dr. Jones also won't hesitate to refer you to a specialist when something is beyond his scope of practice. He will follow up with you personally to be sure you're satisfied and all of your eye issues are resolved. If you need glasses, Georgia Eye Center's optical staff and the quality lens material they use can't be beat. Matt, Erica, Helen, and Kayleen will go above and beyond to be certain you're happy with your glasses or contacts lenses. Tip: Before buying glasses at a chain optical store, ask them to quote your glasses at their advertised sale rates (typically inferior lenses); then have them quote again with the same lens materials Georgia Eye Center will use. The price of comparably higher quality lenses at chain stores is the same or maybe even more than at Georgia Eye Center. Higher quality lenses affect how well you'll see, how heavy/comfortable your glasses will be (especially a strong prescription), and how long they'll last. My granddaughter got her glasses at a chain store, complete with scratch protection and anti-glare coating. Her lenses never did fit squarely in the frame, even the second time when the first pair broke. Then within a couple months, hers lenses were incredibly scratched up--not deep gouges, but the feather-light abrasions that you would expect scratch coating to prevent. In comparison, I have seven-year-old glasses from Georgia Eye Center and next to my granddaughter's glasses, hers are the ones that look seven years old. In photos with our faces right next to each other, it looks like there's no lenses in my frames, but you can barely see her eyes through the reflective glare on hers. So much for the extra money spent for the chain store's anti-glare coating. At chain optical stores, chances are you won't be seen by the same people for annual eye exams. I prefer the continuity and quality of care and products that comes with seeing Dr. Jones and his same friendly, knowledgable staff year after year. read more
