Awful. Waste of time and money, you will not receive a call back. The optician was unprofessional. My prescription was changed to a different type of lens and I was open to trying them, and did. When I requested to go back to my original lens type (prescribed by them as well), 6 calls later, they informed me that I would have to pay for another exam. Spend your money on the in person visit, not the guy on a screen writing incorrect prescriptions. read more

Awful service, it took almost 2 hours! I assumed My Eyelab would be better since it's a chain but it was a horrible experience. It was my daughter's first eye exam since we were a bit concerned about her vision. When we arrived, there was no direction that we needed to check in but we figured it out. Finally after starting the exam (it's tele-health unfortunately) they had me hold the mirror for my daughter because it was broken. The doctor conducted the exam then said "ok I'm done" and then immediately disconnected from the tele-health call explaining absolutely nothing as far as what was wrong with my daughters vision and leaving us in the darkened room. We walked out after sitting there for a minute with no guidance to see the manager sitting at her desk. We asked what was the result and what to do next. She barked at us without looking up to find a glasses frame... my daughter just looked at me near tears finally putting 2 and 2 together that this meant she needed glasses. So unthoughtful. We then waited almost an hour for a representative to charge us and give us the prescription. We will never go back. I can understand being understaffed causing a wait (although 2 hours is ridiculous), but there is no reason for the lack of organization or their thoughtless and calloused behavior. read more

I recently went to Eyelab location in Covington Georgia. There was no delay in getting an appointment. I found the service was fantastic. Part of my eye exam was one on one and the other part of my eye exam was virtual, The virtual part was just like having the doctor in front of me, I was able to ask questions and the optometrist was very patient And efficient. Dill What is my main assistant and the other two ladies were extremely helpful. They help me pick out two pairs of glasses that I really am excited about. My first pair is in and I hope to pick them up Saturday. My visit was a very pleasant and I'm eager to try on my new glasses. read more

Went in for an exam so I could get a prescription for new glasses I purchased online. When my glasses came in, I couldn't see out of them. When I compared my prescription with a previous one, I realized they'd made a mistake and gotten my eyes backwards. Rather than correcting it and sending me a new prescription, they insist I come back in for yet another eye exam. When I explained to them that I had not interest in returning, they refused to provide me with a refund for their incorrect exam. read more

My son needed glasses. Apparently he takes after his mother and has an astigmatism. We went to the Covington Branch location as to the fact it was the closest to us. When we first walked in the manager Jacob greeted us with sincere enthusiasm. He acknowledged the fact that they were slightly busy and asked us if we wouldn't mind letting Gabriel assist us for a time being and that he would come back to help. We got situated and Jacob came back to finish everything up. It was an amazing experience for my son as he has never had to deal with anything of this sorts. We placed our order and the frames came back quicker than Jacob had advised us, so that was very exceptional. Once we received our frames Jacob personally assisted in sizing them to my sons small head as they originally were a smidge big and slide down his face If he looked down. My son is surprised at how much better he can see and how great they feel on his face. I would DEFINITELY recommend going to this Location and Seeing Jacob and staff for any eyeglass needs. Looking back I believe this was the best service and bargain I have dealt with in the 30 years of frames that I personally have received. Kudos My Eyelab for putting this stellar team together. I had the worst experience ever being a new eyeglass wearer. Gabriel and the rest of the staff were wonderful however the manager Jake up was a terrible terrible person he was deceiving he ran my insurance told me what they would pay and in the end he didn't put the insurance through through charge me full price for I exam in full price for my frames lenses and any extras I walked out thinking I had got a great deal because he was a very good salesman and I thought he used by insurance which he did not. Very deceiving when I asked how much I owed I paid in full the amount I was told when I picked up my glasses I realized that he had me owing a balance of $152. I feel like if I owed that at the time I purchased the glasses he should have disclosed that information to me basically he sold me a pair of readers as a second pair for $152 the first pair I couldn't even see out of .. Just a very low down person and very deceitful very conniving very bad for their business I think he should be fired personally for being so deceiving to their customers very bad business I wouldn't recommend the Covington store to anyone as long as Jacob is the manager. However the Conyers new location Britney the manager was a saint she fixed everything explain what had happened and what he had did and how he screwed me. I'm very happy with Britney's help Britney deserves a raise Gabriel was also there he was wonderful. The Eye Lab is great business as long as you don't go and get a manager like Jacob in Covington Georgia do not go to that store. He was very nice he was an awesome salesman I feel very Betrayed.If I owed a balance I should have been letting on that the day that I paid for the glasses when I had my eye exam and the fact I couldn't even see out of them was ridiculous Britney Conyers location helped new I exam for the same amount of money I got two pair of glasses and a lot of upgrades. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else please heed my warning stay away from Covington my eye lab. Jacob should definitely be reprimanded I would fire him if I were corporate and Britney in your Conyers Georgia location should get a least a dollar raise she was really great it is bamboozled and screwed over as I felt she made it better.I love to give them negative stars if I could because of the manager Jake up. I had a 6:05 pm appointment, but when I got there at 5:55 pm, a staff member told me they were closed. When I called the call center they had no idea why. They were supposed to close at 7. I was told that they also had two more appointments after mine. read more

Shocking. Not a good experience at all. After 2 attempts at making my glasses i had to return them . First pair i had to return after i drove half a mile up Pace street , second pair not much better. I said they seemed off a bit as soon as i put them on , but agreed that my eyes may adjust after a week. Anyway still returned them only to find out i don't get a full refund . was charged $90 for the eye exam which is clearly no use. During all my visits to the store i witnessed other customers complain . Staff were ok but felt very misled about costs . read more

Their virtual eye doctor was in a hurry to get through the exam and when I asked a question pertaining to my vision, he stated I wasn't to ask him questions, I could address my questions with the consultant. Hmmm, you're the eye doctor!! Why would I ask an ophthalmology question to a consultant/receptionist? Why was I a bother to you and why did I still have to pay $89 for crappy service? Apparently my vision isn't important to their virtual eye doctor! The manager didn't even know the eye doctors name! Highly disappointed and won't bother returning! read more

I'd give zero if I could. Highly recommend not using this practice. My daughter went here for a contact exam, they were extremely rude to her and only did an eyeglass exam. They said, sorry our mistake, you're going to need to come back for another exam. I called the 1-866 number three different times, spoke with three different people who said they couldn't help me. Had to call local office, which I then did,(FYI, the 1-866 number is what's listed to call the local office, but connects regionally, a real waste). The young girl on the phone was extremely rude to me, raised her voice at me. My request was to have my daughters $45 copay removed from her account because they didn't even do what she had scheduled, and she never received a prescription. The young lady said she could come back and pay the $45, and then $89 for a contact exam and then she would receive her prescription. Are you even serious? This was your error, not my daughters and she received nothing from you. I emailed the manager the same day, as was told to do by the regional team, to never heard anything back. I left my name, phone number, and email address. I offered to let him correct this issue prior to me going elsewhere with my complaint. I have heard nothing from anyone. Very disappointed with the service or lack there of. Your franchise should be ashamed with themselves. No wonder you can get an appointment immediately. No one wants to go there. read more
