I've been to so many places in Dallas and found that the wings are too tiny, mushy, or just have no real seasoning. I happened to search "wings" on Google Maps and America's Best Wings popped up. I was beyond excited as I am from Baltimore and was hoping it was the same chain. It sure enough is! I placed my order in store because the Honey Old Bay flavor was not a a flavor on the actual menu. The gentleman taking my order was super accommodating and kind. He made sure to repeat my order back to make sure he got everything. It took about 15 minutes or so to be prepared. When my order was ready, he opened the box and showed me the food to make sure it was to my liking. I got home and it was still pretty warm considering it was about a 30 min drive home. The fries were extra crispy as I ordered and jammed packed in the box. The wings were just as I remembered. It tasted like home. I wish it had a littttle more honey. I think America's best wing has improved since last year. I had order wings once last year and it was just okay. I wasn't Impressed by garlic parmesan wing, honey mustard, and mango habanero wings. My friend ask me to bring wings to a house party and I decided to give this place a try since it's so close to my house and I wanted to try their Cajun style wings. I got Cajun, chipotle, and my friend requested garlic Parmesan wings. I picked up after 30 minutes and drove to the party in 25 minutes and everything is still hot and tasty. All 3 wings got great feedback and the garlic Parmesan has right amount of cheese seasoning this time. The fries were tasteless, not sure if they put salt/pepper on it or not. But it really lacked flavor. My buffalo wings weren't really spicy at all, and were just OK the first night. However, the following day I put them in the oven and they really heated up well and for some reason tasted better than the night before. There are many times I have passed up on a place to eat because I've already decided that it wasn't worth it, overrated or just because there wasn't a yelp page for it. Well I got over myself. This wing place is amazing, with 30 flavors (dry and wet) and many ways to try them all. Typically when a little restaurant has a big menu, it oversells itself, but everything I ordered was hot and fresh tasting. I ordered 10 tenders and split the flavors, getting 24k Gold and Spicy Old Bay. 25k Gold was phenominal; spicy, sweet, kind of fruity kind of mustardy, all delicious. Spicy old bay was very tasty, but pretty salty. But the selling point of these tenders was when the cashier opened two huge to go containers and revealed the gargantuan portions. "Tender" was a delicate place holder word for these, because easily, what they mean is a perfectly flattened chicken fillet, absolutely doused in sauce. I could only finish 2 maybe 3 between me and my husband. Aside from that, we also ordered a classic philly cheesesteak that easily weighed 2 lbs, also very very delicious. Tack onto that, fried pickles and fried mushrooms and there is no greater way to finish off a weekend. The cashier, possible owner, was kind and answered all my questions and then some which I really appreciated. Ranch does cost extra but they also offer other sauces and seasonings freely, so no big thing. This location is relatively small, with maybe 7 long tables to share with other patrons. Overall I am happy to find a wing place that really delivers on its tastes ! I was just looking for a snack after the gym and ended up getting rice and veggies for the next few days (: The portion is generous and you'll have plenty for the next day... and maybe the day after! Who owns this place? From the phone call to order my food to picking it up it seems like the employees have a little attitude like they don't want to be bothered. There is piss poor customer service all around. They don't always have condiments such as tater sauce, ketchup, hot sauce. When you ask what flavors they have they say we have 30 flavors. The best way to say that is we have 30 flavors, my favorites are XYZ or would you like a dry or wet rub I may help you with some of our popular flavors. The soda machine has been down for awhile which makes you think if they can't fix the soda machine what else could be wrong with this business or the food they serve. We have to stop supporting businesses who provide piss poor service and food and allow for other businesses to move in and thrive. I do not recommend people to eat here. I have literally tried 4 days in a row between 2pm and 3pm to order lunch and it hasn't worked yet. The first two days, the African/Jamaican guy answered and TOLD ME (not asked me) to hold. Yesterday and today, I experienced him answering and when I said I had an order by phone, I heard silence (Placed on hold without asking or letting me know.) I've also noticed that when I have called at 9:30pm, 9:35pm on nights that they close at 10, they don't even bother answering the phone. I tested my theory by coming to place an order at the establishment and wait on it. During that time I was wondering why the phones would ring and he (the African guy) would look in the direction of the phone and go back to putting chairs up/wiping the counter. The food is good--but what you have to go through to get it is a bit much. Customer Service Skills would go a long way if they actually cared. He always gives the impression that he is bothered.
