Liberty Burger is still the place for delicious, juicy and well seasoned burgers. My favorite remains the Libertine which is their turkey burger served with arugula, marinated cucumbers, avocado. You also can't go wrong with the regular burger. All perfectly cooked and seasoned. My current addiction is the kids chicken strips and skinny fries. The strips are a good size, hot and tender with a nice batter. Btw, I don't even like chicken strips but I love theirs! Nice clean ambiance. Excellent service. read more

I have eaten at other burger joints but nothing beats a hand-formed, well-seasoned patty on a freshly baked bun. I recommend a no-nonsense cheeseburger w jalapeños (for just a little kick). Skip the shoe string fries and get the onion rings. The rings had a good crunch, and they were not greasy. Burgers are great, fries are super skinny and crunchy, and again, the milkshakes are the best!!! I got the heath bar milkshake, and I literally thought I was on cloud 9. It was quite good - cooked just as I asked and the toppings were mostly right...I asked for no onions and ... got onions but that was a minor issue. I used to work nearby almost a decade ago and liberty burger was a favorite lunch spot for my coworkers and me. Their familiar selection of speciality burgers welcomed me back a long absence and I'm glad to see they haven't tinkered too much with a successful menu. The location itself seems mostly familiar as well with a mix of high and low top tables but I didn't recall them having a full bar at the time. That certainly would have made those team lunches more interesting! I ordered an old favorite, the Chillerno, which has white queso, pablano peppers, and a chipotle bbq sauce and a side of skinny fries and a drink. It's about as messy to eat as it sounds but the flavors work so well together I'm happy to deal with that for the taste. As a nice bonus you always end up with a little extra queso and bbq sauce on your plate to dip your fries in so it's not all downside. I've thought about this place a lot over the years and was worried I'd built it up too much in my head. I'm happy to say this is still a solid place to grab a burger and I look forward to re-exploring the diverse menu of their specialty burgers. While the burgers seemed a bit smaller than I remembered, the price was as well so it still seems like a good place to do a ~$20 sit down lunch with tip. I'll be back again to see if how the Wild West burger holds up next. read more

The nooner burger was a little greasy but the flavor was great and my fiancé loves a burger with a runny egg so they were all for it! The original liberty burger was delicious! I modified it a bit and it was perfect! Juicy and well seasoned! The skinny fries were ok. Lacked a little bit of seasoning but tasted good dipped in their ranch. Disappointed. STRIKE ONE. Cheese curds were tiny chunks less than 1/2 inch (more like crumbs honestly) cooked too long till they were tough, and burnt tasting batter. Again fryer too hot and too long in the grease. Sigh. I love cheese curds and always order them when I see them on a menu. STRIKE TWO. Server description of the burger of the month sounded perfect to me. BUT he "forgot" to tell me the burger, in his itemized content description, had cheese. Worse yet: AMERICAN CHEESE, which is made from corn oil and "dairy solids." Yuck. Not even cheese. And I'm allergic to corn oil. I like cheeseburgers with cheddar or Swiss, but this greasy mess made my throat itch. And I didn't want or order a cheeseburger. I realized it was American cheese as soon as my throat started itching, nose got itchy, eyes watered. I was halfway through the burger by then, and expressed my frustration to the server. He said he'd "see what he could do." Never returned. So I scraped it off. BTW the burger itself was pretty tasty 3. STRIKE THREE. My iced tea never refilled. Server only had a couple of tables till the end of my meal, when the place got busy. So this puzzled me. Several servers were just standing around the bar area the entire time with nothing to do but chat with each other. But each time I tried to catch someone's attention, they never made eye contact. When I am craving a delicious, elevated burger- this is my go-to. Now I'm not the biggest beef eater, so I always get the Ahi Tuna Burger. It's seared rare and is bursting with flavor! I think this is quite possibly the most perfect burger. The tuna steak is perfectly seasoned, seared and is fresh! Also, the slaw atop the burger is finely shredded and has delicate slices of red pepper. To-go orders feature a side of dressing so the burger doesn't get soggy in transit. Oh, and the Brioche bun is *chef's kiss* perfection! I always get the skinny fries which are like little matchsticks because they are cut so fine. They are absolutely delicious and are the ultimate burger companion. The to go experience is flawless. You can order through grub hub and once you arrive at the restaurant they have designated spots to park at and once you text upon arrival, someone will promptly bring out your order. Liberty Burger is across the street from our accommodations, while Mr. P and I are here for business. You can't miss the bright lime green Liberty logo on the strip mall building. Liberty is a sit-down restaurant, but you can also order out. There are booths and tables, and on our two visits, we have not waited for seating, even though it has been busy. Day 1, our server was a beautiful, mature gal that was caring and energetic, like a Texas mama. She kept our drink glasses full, and made sure we were pleased. My Give Back Burger was a green chile cheeseburger. It was delicious. Bonus, a portion was donated to charity. Mr. P had the Ahi burger. He loves it, and is the reason he comes here. Both burgers were cooked to our liking, and were perfect. The sweet potato fries were wonderful, and tasted even better with the Liberty branded chipotle ketchup. I decided to cheat extra on the ol'diet and tried a Joy Macaron. The seasonal special was a Pina Colada. Naturally, I gave it a shot. Ice cream in a chewy macaron. Perfect. Day 2. Mr. P split a Liberty burger with a friend (standard burger with lettuce and tomato), as well as skinny fries (not named for calories, but for size. They are crisp shoestrings.) I had a Bella with Big O Rings. The Bella was amazing, with swiss and baby Bella mushrooms topped by an onion ring and aoli. So tasty, and again perfectly cooked. The onion rings were huge! Each was like a half layer of an onion, and I think you got 6 huge tire-sized onions. The breading was tasty, with a slight flavor. Now, y'all know that I'm not a fan of the Devil's Apple, but these rings were great! Day 3. Yes, we went a third time. Mr. P had the Bella, and I went veggie and tried a Woodstock. A cracked wheat bun cradled a veggie patty, greens and avocado. This veggie burger was amazing. Mr. P even tried a quarter of it. We shared a sweet potato fry, which of course, we dipped in the amazing chipotle ketchup. I should note that Liberty has a full bar, so a few vodka-soda-limes were imbibed. Liberty burger is one of my go to places for food. I usually use their app to order food and text them when I'm outdoors to have it brought to my car. I've had the Turkey burger, the beyond meat burger and a beef burger. In the picture below, I had the lettuce wrapped beef burger. While the lettuce was not wrapped, the food was delicious. The burger is always tasty, even though Liberty burger is on the more expensive side of burgers to not even come with cheese. The staff also wear mask every time I've frequented the place. Foods great, service great, vibe great, only thing I am taking off for is cleanliness of the bathrooms. They are kind of gross. They don't mind my kid just ordering burger patties and fries, which makes my life so much easier. Their shakes are good and same with the chicken sandwich.
