The wings were perfectly fried, plump, juicy, and saucy! We ordered half 24 karat (get it!), a quarter hot lemon pepper, and a quarter honey old bay. Actually... GET ALL OF THIS. Everything was perfectly sauced, which was great bc there is nothing more annoying that under-sauced, dry wings. Of note, the hot lemon pepper wings actually have a nice little heat kick to them. 24 karat wings are hands down my favorite. I'm not sure what's in the sauce-- I feel like it's a take on Carolina gold bbq sauce-- but it's amazing. You could eat it off of fries, a spoon, whatever lol. Their iced tea and lemonade in the juice fountains, however, have no discernible tea or lemonade flavor, artificial or otherwise. So I went to America's best wing and ordered the philly cheese steak and wing combo. The tater tots were freezer burnt the wings ok but the cheesesteak was horrific. So I ask the guy fires non-existing cheese look like the extra cheese I paid for? The guy said this is extra cheese. Far superior to the locations in the Hampton Roads area that I frequented often. Here I was actually greeted and welcomed when I walked in. It actually feels like the owners took time to decorate and create an atmosphere where customers can eat if they'd like. The employees are super cool and down to earth. Don't waste your money! I've tried to give this place a try a few times and each time I have been disappointed. Stay away from the lemon pepper wings dry rub; you might get what I got some fried wings with lemon pepper seasoning sprinkled heavily on one side of the container and it didn't even stick to the Chicken.... Also the last batch tasted like it had been fried in fish grease. Called to resolve and the cashier was very nice but manager was not onsite.
