I absolutely love their ramen. It's not a place you would normally expect to get ramen, but it's surprisingly good and very enjoyable. I've also tried their spicy chicken, which is very flavorful and definitely another favorite. Overall, it's a solid place to grab food. Tried Ooh Soo Chicken for lunch and it did not disappoint. I tried the bulgogi beef bun and has the shrimp tempura as well which were both great! I ordered ahead for lunch and they had it ready. They are located in the shopping center with plenty of parking. Definitely give them a try. read more

TAKE OUT REVIEW: I'm always apprehensive about how take out ramen would be as it makes a difference on what kind of containers they put it in and if the noodles are separate from the soup. Our server brought out an extra drumstick when he thought one of ours was too small. This spot is a hidden gem in a shopping center that doesn't always get a ton of traffic outside of Sakura. Ordered carryout on a Friday at 6pm....there was only 2 people in the entire place...should I be leery? Guy behind the counter was very nice and handed me the food right away. We ordered 10pc boneless half spicy and half ooh soo sauce, 8pc traditional spicy and an order of bull dak. None of the spicy was even spicy but the flavor was ok, similar to bonchon soy garlic. The traditional bone-in was good but not sure what happened with the boneless...the chicken pieces were not in chunks but more thin flat discs of chicken breast. So thin that even though the outside looked decent, the chicken itself was hard as cardboard. My bull dak was okay but I don't think it should be as soupy or saucy. The flavor was decent I guess. We tried this place because we've never been since it used to be bonchon...I'm sure it'll be our last since there's so many other better Korean bbq chicken places around. read more

Ummmm....this is going to be a short review because this place is basically and off brand Bon Chon. Same concept a couple of different flavors which I tried the soy and spicy. They also have ooh soo chicken sauce I didn't try and will not be back to try so I can't comment not that. So got the wing and drumstick combo...was thinking I would get a big drumstick but only just received the drumettes and wingettes. Flavors are nothing to write home about and chicken was so so. Only improvement you can get a free side of white rice. Menu looks about the same so nothing extra there. No more bar all that is cleared out. Don't seem like they going to last ever since 2020 and they closed and wouldn't let anyone sit in the restaurant they went down and finally closed. This place will not last so don't waste your time in my opinion. Better off going to the bbq chicken spot at Stonebridge for more flavors and better selection of sides and chicken. read more

Okay so yesterday I tried this place and this review is written with the understanding that this place is new and will need a couple of months before it is where it needs to be. We tried the Mandu dumplings, which were pretty good in the soy flavor. We tried the octopus balls, which were not my favorite. I did not like the texture. We tried the fried chicken and strips and wings as well as the veggie fried rice and the kimchi. The veggie fried rice was delicious. I can only imagine how good it taste with the spicy chicken or the Bulgogi beef. The steamed rice was good however the kimchi was soured. In general, this place is pretty much a self-service place however, it is very spacious and accessible for those with walkers and wheelchairs. The food here was very good, and I'm a pretty firm grader. There used to be a Bon Chon here. I was bummed when it closed. I was very excited to see this place open but it took us a while to get in here. The wings are very good. I had the Ooh Soo signature sauce. The fries are good. The side of fried rice was a little bland, but it was a free side, so I'll just stick with the fries in the future. There are other sides I haven't tried yet. They also have some classic favorites like catsu and bulgogi. My wife had the bulgogi and said it was very good. The only reasons I knocked them down a peg were the fried rice and the meal was a tiny bit pricey for what it was, but what isn't these days? I noticed they had lunch specials, so that might help on the price next time. Oh, and the service was very helpful and friendly. This place is Ooh Soo Good!! Didn't realize they specialize in Ramen and popular Korean Fare. Actually, 2/3 of the menu is Asian fare. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen with Beef and Pork with a Dumpling appetizer. Both dishes were awesome! Great presentation and tasty. I think of myself as an Asian Quisine guru as that's my go to food of choice. I've eaten at many Asian places around the US and overseas. For Woodbridge and NOVA, OSC is top notch. Highly recommend. Okay, so there's very very good and very very bad here. Let's lead off with the bad, get it out of the way. This place replaces the amazing Bon Chon which used to be here. I'm not sure how long ago it was, but they're clearly still figuring out how to run the place. The food is very expensive. My wife and I placed an order for 8 wings, potstickers, and edamame and it was around $67 They don't have their front counter to kitchen operations working right. We placed an order and told them we would wait for it that we were dining in. After sitting there for around 35 minutes, no food. We asked at the counter, and that began a mad scramble for them to find our order. We were the only two people in the restaurant at the time. Eventually, they did find it, and the owner told us that the ticket had never printed in the kitchen. To make up for it, they gave us a free order of coconut shrimp. After that, the food came out, about 10 minutes later. When it came out, it wasn't on nice plates or anything like that. Everything was in takeout containers. So clearly they're not ready to actually have people in the restaurant. OK now having said all that, the food is really good. The edamame, the potstickers and the chicken were all quite great. The chicken drumsticks were enormous. The edamame was perfectly salted. The potstickers were surprisingly good. So should you order from here? Maybe. The chicken is as good, if not better than Bonchon. And to be fair, the owner was absolutely shocked at what happened and tried to make it right. Tried Ooh Soo for the first time last night. We tried the soy flavor 8 piece wings and bulgolgi. Wings were delicious and super crispy. It's nice to have the option of extra sauce, if needed. Additional cost, but reasonable. Bulgolgi was the reason you got 4 stars instead of 5. It tasted a little too much like soy sauce for my liking. The cole slaw and radish were good.
