A terrible experience in a terrible location, if you ask for an estimate on the phone, be aware they will give you less than half of that in person. Employee are openly hostile and will try to speed you through the process without specifying numbers. I asked an employee to specifically tell me the price of each individual item i was selling and he flat out refused. I insisted and his numbers were wrong. He corrected them eventually but it's ridiculous that i was treated like that. Terrible place read more

Yeah so I had went into pawn something one time and I didn't have my wallet on me so I pawned it my buddy's name he helped me out well on one of my chainsaws now I didn't ask for a lot of money 60 bucks just what I needed whenever I pawn something I try not to take too much that way you know if times get tough whatever I'm not spending an army league to get my stuff back and I got a text message from my buddy saying hey bud your chainsaw defaulted on the third now this is the 5th that I got the message come to find out call pawn shop they'd put in my saw out on the floor for sale for three times what I got for it so they sold it for 180 and when I called him and asked him I could pick it up even though it defaulted in two days ago they said yeah it hasn't been sold yet we'll take it off the floor and you can come in get here by 6:00 and bring your buddy and you can pick it up I'll call him back my buddy didn't get off work in time my first phone calling him granted was at 5:00 this is 5:30 when I call him back saying I won't make it until tomorrow is that a problem they said no don't worry we'll hold on to it for you it is now 1:00 what was when this ordeal started when I walked into the pawn shop today I think they opened at 9:00 so that's four hours that they have been openso when I go in to give them the money just to hold it until my buddy gets off to bring him back to pick it up they told me they sold it this morning I said how's that possible when the lady said I could pick it up and then she took it off the floor I don't know I'm really sorry there's nothing we can do now cuz it's been sold that's very bad business to tell a customer that you will hold on to the stuff knowing that he did not take a large loan out on it and then he goes to pick it up four hours after you've been open you've went and sold it piss on that customer you don't give a crap about him that's how I feel America super pond treating me that's why I wouldn't have gave him any stars but you have to give at least one I think they are garbage they're assholes and I would not recommend anybody taking anything there to get pawned or to buy stuff!!!! read more

As far as pawn shops go, this place is pretty awesome. Ok, so I was on the reserve about going in here the first time...Pawn shops make you think seedy, dark, basement type places where you can find bars on the windows in plenty, guns to commit crimes with, and felons in the making you are sure to make mom and dad proud with. I am sorry to say you will not find that here people. But what you WILL find is really friendly, knowledgeable folks, a family friendly atmosphere (they have a table with a toy for kiddies to play with) and lots of neat stuff at awesome prices. Laptops at great prices, awesome fancy jewelry, great movies for way less to own than you could rent them for, video games and video game systems and if you want to sell something they are going to give you the best price in the whole area for it. They even have lay-a-way that is interest free which is how I am getting a new television without killing my eating out budget ;-). This place rocks! read more

I am writing a review because my camera got stolen out of my car on 11th and cocoanut and upon seeing this unfortunate issue early in the AM and calling the cops to make a report, I started to call local pawn shops to be aware. I believe the girl who helped me over the phone was Sara (I could be wrong as I was rather distraught with the fact that my camera was stolen and my car was broken into). ANyways, she was so nice and informative and took time to make suggestions and even say, "try to have a good day" despite all that had happened that I would certainly reccomend this place based on their customer service. Well I showed up Saturday at 6:32,2 minutes past closing, after hearing they had a semi good deal on a $200 saw..I saw like 4 people still inside and they opened the door to let 2 people out and I asked if they had that saw for $200,the huge lady rudely just said "Were Closed" and reclosed the door without saying another word..Now I own a company too and know there is working hours,but when someone wants to spend $200,I would have let them come in to make that purchase and not rudely send them on there way..I wont return just for that fact.. read more

If you want totally shady people giving you nothing for what your selling then this is were you want to go! The lady looks up and compares prices on eBay when the items are not even the same that your selling and flips very fast on her computer screen so you can't see what the items really sell for, when I called her out on it she hesitated and just gave me a line of bs. But that's ok because the one item I sold she over paid because of her shady attitude and thought she was scamming me and goin make big $$$$, well lady karma found you today! They took my money from a layaway!! The guy never told me that all the PAYMENTS towards the item is considered a deposit, only the initial payment!!! He said if canceled I would receive my money less the restocking fee. After the hurricane I had financial issues and my hours were cut, however they called my husband and stated that he would have to get his layaway off by December 26th. They dropped mine October 27th and didn't call or anything before It happened. They say phones calls are a courtesy. After the man pressured me to put on the layaway and even took less than what was reuqored to start a layaway to get me to do it, you would think they would at least call and let me know they were dropping the layaway and I didn't have until 12/26 like my husband who put his layaway uo a day before mine. Now they are saying each payment is considered a deposit which is non refundable. How does that work when I was told I would get a refund less the restocking fee? They resold the item and are keeping all my money. How is that legal??? read more
